    I bought this to check surface temperatures on my Blackstone and my Pizza oven. As far as I can tell, it is pretty accurate, and it reads the temperatures I need. I also appreciate that this one uses AAA batteries instead of 9V and the color screen looks really cool compared to the solid color one that many others use.

    Note this is not for checking temperature of humans. You would need to buy a medical touchless thermometer for that purpose.

    Love this thermometer. Great for checking the pizza oven is at the right temperature for cooking. One thing to be aware of, make sure you have it in the right scale (Fahrenheit or Celsius). It’s easy to switch it from one to another. I couldn’t figure out why my oven was not over 500degrees, then noticed I was seeing a Celsius readout instead of Fahrenheit. My fault. Switched it back to F, the oven was at the right temp.
