I got this game for my family to play for Christmas. The box is very cool, the hit point counters and cards are well made. All in all, good solid quality.
Game setup the first time was a little maddening especially with my 9- and 11-year-old boys waiting to have some fun. Once the game started, we got the hang of it fairly quickly. The game can take a long time to play, so if you are buying for kids, be aware, it may be on your kitchen table for a few days like a game of Monopoly.
We are currently playing through the game additional times and the play is very fluid. It forces the family to work together instead of fight over who is winning and what is fair. Each play we seem to learn a little more about the game and exploits so the fact that you can adjust the difficulty and experience each time is nice to keep things fresh.
We cannot wait to get home and play this right now. I'm looking forward to the expansion sets as well. This is the first game of this type that we own and definitely the best co-op game we have played.
As stated in another review, the setup can be tricky at first, but the cards are labelled and things really make sense once you spend some time with the game.
