Pros
- It locks in all of my power bits even if it's not actually designed to do it. Perhaps the blue-sleeved version holds them more true or has a stronger grip, but this red-sleeved one seems to do the job just fine.
- It seems very slightly more true than the
Wera Rapidaptor 889/4/1 K
- It has a very slightly smaller OD than the Wera.
- Unlike the Wera, the entire sleeve is free-spinning.
Cons
- Unlike the Wera, it does not lock in all of my 1" bits (the Makita ones, specifically; it holds the Milwaukee ones fine, but I think that's more a matter of luck than design [Milwaukee bits have a concave section that this locks into, but it doesn't lock into the notches), though it still holds all of them very snugly.
- This product does not have a spring-loaded mechanism that the Wera does, which pops the bit out and makes locking them in easier.
