This light actually works. When I put batteries in it and went around the house looking, I found evidence of where my dog had been marking. Made me so mad. It's a fun devise to mess around with too. But the big thing for me, was determining if a particular 'Fresh,' spot, was actually pee or something else. It sure beats having to get down and smelling the spot, or getting the wife to taste my finger after touching the spot. This light is more advanced than the ones that we bought in the past. It is more advanced and defining. It will also help to identify areas in the bathroom that you have missed while cleaning.

I bought this to look for cat urine, and unfortunately, this little light just doesn't work as advertised. It's like they put a purple coating on a regular flashlight and called it a black light--spots that I knew had urine did not light up at all, even when I shone the light directly on it. If you're hoping to use this to clean up pet stains, you'll be disappointed.

Did not do the job

This item came in a box that appeared to have been used more than once before. The item itself looks like it's been used plenty of times. The battery compartment is worn and bent, making it hard for batteries to fit correctly. I've gotten better items from thrift stores. The actual light is incredibly dim and doesn't come on with the first click. Walmart should drop its partnership with this “company” immediately.
