    I've been getting Ari & Harper products from my local Whole Foods, but they don't have the full range of flavors that I see online. So I decided to get this little sampler to decide which sugar scrub I like best. And I have to say they are all wonderful! I still can't decide which one to buy. I may have to get a few instead. They're the perfect little luxury on a hard day. If you're trying to decide whether they're worth the extra money, I can assure you they are! :)

    I received the Discovery Kit that had 6 different cubes (apricot, peach, coconut, blue raspberry lemon, tangerine). In general, the sugar cubes all smell similar to each other, which make sense because they all share the same base ingredients. If you’re looking for sugar scrub cubes that will make you whole bathroom smell like the sent you picked, this is not for you. These have very like smells, which was great in my opinion. I am sensitive to different smell. I hate the smell of coconut and sometimes it can make me feel sick to my stomach. But when I used the coconut cube, I felt fine because the smell was light and nonaggressive. The cubes are strong enough to hold and rub them against your heal to exfoliate, but soft enough to apply some pressure to break down the cubes to use on the rest of your body. These are to be used after you wash your body for exfoliation. I have normal skin, so this was great for me. But if you have very sensitive skin I would not look for a physical exfoliant. You should instead look into a very mild chemical exfoliant instead.
    I would recommend buying the 'Discovery Kit'. If you want a variety then get this. If you want the best price & know which smells you like and want. Then I would buy the 20 cube jar set because it will save you money overall. I have put my math below. I would check to make sure these prices haven't changed and are still correct.
    The product was great. I took one star off for the price difference since its a better deal to get the 20 Sugar Scrub Cube for $24. That one also comes in a glass jar.

    After purchasing the jar of sugar cubes (at Homegoods), I ordered the gift set to try different scents. Disappointed with the hard, unusable condition of the sugar cubes in the set, I figured it’s the packaging that dries out the product. The jarred cubes are soft, smell great, and worked as described. So, I transferred my cubes to a air tight jar and added coconut oil to try and soften them up.

    These exfoliating cubes are a good size so I suggest breaking in half to get more than one use per cube. They are more of an upkeep exfoliate than a deep scrub so if you haven't exfoliated in a while, I suggest saving these for when you're skin is already in a good place. The shea butter makes them moisturizing and they smell amazing - I honestly can't decide which scent I enjoy the most!
