Capable of holding one dozen small to extra large chicken eggs, our egg cartons can accommodate eggs from most breeds of chickens. The view top allows freshly laid warm eggs to breath while providing a tiny glimpse of the eggs inside for display purposes or to simply help you keep count. Made from 100% reclaimed paper, these egg cartons are recyclable, biodegradable, and compostable. These egg cartons, when closed, measure 12" long x 4.25" wide x 2.75" high. Con: it does not fit larger chicken eggs very well. Would like the cups to be just a tad bigger. I can still make it work by putting the larger eggs in the middle though, so will repeat buy as needed.
