I have the Elite 800X and I thought it was a good headset, first the battery died but I was able to replace that and the ear pad since they were so worn out at about the 5 year mark, unfortunately recently the mic started giving out on me (giving horrendous echo in parties, I tried to fix it to no avail) so after 8 years of use it was time for a new headset.
In come the Stealth Pro. Wow. The first time I heard this headset I was blown away by the quality of sounds I was hearing. The detailed crispness of the highs and the well noted bass (although not excessive). I was listening to details in music I didn't know were there before. The noise cancelling, while not best, certainty does a good job of isolating you. This headset does not have spatial audio, but you can get a subscription to a spatial audio of your choice if using on a PC or Dolby Atmos on an Xbox, I'm using it on a PC and got the Dolby Atmos subscription and it defiantly allows you to detect the location of enemies in games, and for movies too, it enhances the theatrical sound.
Comfort wise, these are very confrontable, way more that the Elite 800X, having deeper ear cups means if you have larger ears, like me, they are not rubbing the inside of the headset and causing discomfort. The foam on the earcups themselves are really supple, very soft, I have not had issues with them getting hot. The headband is pretty flexible and grips you well but not with too much force, I would have like maybe a little more clamping force on the headband, but that is personal preference.
One feature I really liked is that it comes with two batteries, the transmitter base serving as a charging base for the spare battery too. This way you never have to worry about running out of battery in the middle of a game, and even if you do, you can change the battery really quick and its designed so that when a new battery is placed in the headset, it turns on automatically, so one less step to worry about if your swapping batteries in the middle of a gaming session.
While not the cheapest, I think they are worth the money

I ordered these as well as the steel series to see which really makes the cut for me. I had intentions on keeping both and swapping out for different situations however, this is the second pair of TB I’ve sent back. I also want to add, I’m no fanboy of either brand, this is just my impression.The first pair snapped in the middle headband just by placing it on my head. I have a typical head size so I thought perhaps it was just a fluke. The second pair hasn’t snapped but I’m waiting for it to at any point.The positives:Nice feel to the padding in the band that sits on your head. The ear pads are soft and don’t fatigue your head. Good size to fit over your ears with ease. Removable mic is nice if you plan to use these for something other than gaming, however there are way better audio options that are less bulky than these if that’s your purpose. Flipping the boom to mute is nice and easy. The App you use to control it, has some nice features. There’s on headset button for power, Bluetooth, superhuman, noise cancelling (we will discuss this more), and volume. The ear muffs rotate to sit against you when sitting around your neck and that part of the frame is metal. The sound quality of the mic is good but expected. Having a secondary battery is nice but you can also charge the headset when it’s off. I didn’t run into a situation where all day use required battery swapping. I do like that when turning off the Xbox, the headset will also power down.The negatives:While the piece that allows you to adjust the fitment is metal, that’s where it ends. The entire headband is a form of poly and in one pair it snapped from normal use. The clamping pressure of these is so intense, it gave me a headache with only a 10 minute use. Even my little girl had headaches from trying them because of the clamping pressure. To combat this, it sat them around the Xbox series x for a day, as the width is just shy of a normal head. This helped some but they’re still pretty tight. The point where the headband and padding meet appears to be pulling apart every time I put them on. I suspect in time this will rip apart on both sides which is a major oversight, especially for the price point. The headset is very bulky compared to the steel series and weighs enough that it’s very noticeable when holding or using. Let’s talk sound. I setup the equalizer and there’s no real exceptional changes to the sound over any other headset. Yes the superhuman makes it louder, yet it still feels like a gimmick. It won’t impress over other headphones. Let’s talk about what they’re calling noise canceling. Perhaps I’m spoiled by Sony and others but the NC on these is almost absent. To even begin to remove any outside sound you have to crank it up so high that the headphones introduce a static or blowing sound to counter the outside noise. Turning NC on or off doesn’t really make any sound changes so it’s more of a useless tag to add to the price.While the headset looks nice, it’s overpriced for what they really do and what I’d say are build oversights. While having an app to adjust the settings is nice, and the steel series has a dock that these are setup, I found myself enjoying the steel series more because I could see where the volume and chat mix volumes are when adjusting. There’s no indicator on these to tell me where I’m at on the volume or chat mixer. You have to turn the dial so far to get it to change even the slightest. For me, having the volume and other buttons on the right side feels awkward as most headsets I’ve used, pair these on the left along with the mic. Flipping the mic with your left hand then swapping to your right to adjust sound just feels unnecessary.2 stars was because it has some nice features but for the price tag and the build oversights, it’s just not there for me. The fact the headband is actively pulling apart every time it’s used is a major detractor. If you read through all this, I hope it at least helps you make an informed decision even if you choose to go with these. Best of luck and happy gaming!

If you can locate the power buttons you dont know when it s on or off , and you dont know how long to press and there is always some hissing sounds on the headset, did hot notice this things, until i had covid and i endup staying at home and playing for a week,
Contacted turtle beach about a replace some lady name Jasmine had the nerve to tell me this didnt look
Like normal wear and tear if i could explain how it happened , i know how it happened lady , the built quality of your product is poor thats why it happened , my recommendation is the steel series minus the bluetooth which you cant disconect when connected to a device
Poor poor stay away not worth the price their 700 series is a better built than this one
