I don't even know where to start.. I finished this book last night and I'm still shook with how it ended! How am I supposed to wait +5 months for Liam and Maddie's books... HOW?!! These ladies know just how to finish a book in the most jaw dropping way and this one... sh*t I hadn't seen that even a mile away.
Mason and Sophie are back and better than ever! These two still have so much ahead of them. They both have already been through so much in their lifes but it's not over yet. They face a lot more in Truly Yours. It's more heartbreaking, suspensful and emotional than Truly Mine so get ready to have your heart in your throat and have it ache for both Mason and Sophie.
Having gone through another horrific experience, Sophie is all kinds of messed up and decides that this time she needs to seek help to be able to move on. The experience rocked her completely and she finds herself questioning everything about herself, her choices and where they lead her. In order to move on and work through what happen, she had to take a break from some of the things in her life and boy that really hurt my heart.
Mason proved again and again how amazing he was and how much he loves Sophie. I loved watching him be there for her through it all no matter how much it hurt him to see her a shell of herself and not be as close to her as before. He loved her through it all and he'd wait 3 more years for her to find herself in a good place and strong enough to move on with her life.
Kennedy Fox really brought on the drama and suspense in this one, giving us some jaw dropping bombs. I could not have enjoyed this book more. And can we just talk about how awesome this group is? I love the banter between them so much, specially when dealing with Maddie and Liam! I cannot wait to get inside that girl's head and see her moments alone with Liam, experience the looks and touches first hand! Gah, I have a feeling I'm gonna love them the most which is insane because I loved Lennon and Hunter so much and Mason and Sophie hit me right in the feels too... all these couples are so special. Gosh, I truly just love all KF's characters and worlds. Plus, Liam was so freaking amazing and bad*ss in this book! With each book in the series I've fallen a little more in love with him... I am so ready for his duet and see him in all his glory and just what the heck goes on inside his head and in his life.
This duet is a slow slow burn that deals with real life issues that might be a trigger for some. It is a friends to lovers and a roommates to lovers that will make you feel all the things and burn with the chemistry bubbling between Sophie and Mason every time they are near each other. Book 2 is a bit of a slow burn as well, it's sweeter and when IT finally happens, the heat will blow up your kindle. Mason has a dirty mouth and wow I LIVED for it. This story is full of emotion and suspense, even more so in the second book and both of them end with a cliffhanger; the first book for Sophie and Mason and the second for Liam and Maddie's duet releasing in 2020.

There were parts of this book I really loved. LOVED. The beginning. I couldn’t consume this story fast enough. The ending. I love a Kennedy Fox HEA. And the epilogue. Lord, these ladies know how to hook a reader for the next book. But there were also parts that dragged a bit for me.
Mason and Sophie are cute together. In the bedroom, they are fire. Like most KF, men, Mason has that protective instinct that makes a romance reader swoon. There were times, though, that it become too much. Too much dialogue for me and reiterating the same sentiments. Sophie is a truly strong character for all she has endured. I liked that aspect of her story and character, and that we got see someone overcome a traumatic experience in a realistic way was great.
The story had entertaining, supenseful, sexy, and everything in between. I do like this core group of friends, and how they banter with one another. Some of my favorite scenes are when they get together as a group. There were moments, however, that seemed to stretch the plausibility of it all, which is ultimately okay in the grand scheme of a story. I think ultimately it comes down to there are so many parts of this story that I wanted to be fleshed out and there were parts that seemed redundant, making the story drag for me.
Although this hasn't been my favorite KF duet, I am still a fan of their writing. They create some of the best heroes. They are queens of surprise plot twists that pull readers back in for more. And the chemistry they create between their heroes and heroines is explosive in terms of physical and emotional intimacy. KF fans will enjoy Sophie and Mason's story.

Sophie's and Mason's love story melted my heart because of their adorable relationship.
I knew from the start that their relationship won't be easy but I also knew that what they have is true love.
That's the kind of love which can survive anything and you know that they were destined to be together.
If you're looking for a romance duet which will touch your emotions, this book (and the first one) is perfect for you!

Excuse me, before I can leave my review, I have to cry ALL the happy tears! I LOVED this duet soooo much! I absolutely ADORED Baby Mine and Baby Yours, so I knew this duet would be incredible, but Mason and Sophie are just perfection! I loved the slow-burn, friends to lovers set up, and overall, I think this Roommate series is just incredible! I CANNOT wait for Liam and Maddie's story!
But back to Truly Yours: The ending of Truly Mine left me GASPING. I literally almost threw my kindle across the room. I was all up in my feelings by the end of that book and NOT OKAY! And this book picked up right where the last one left off. I don't think I breathed at all during the first few chapters. This book definitely deals with some heavy subject matter, and it was an emotional read for sure! I absolutely loved Mason and Sophie and how hard they both worked to not only get back to each other, but to also find themselves!
Love, Love, LOVE! Seriously, Kennedy Fox? Is there anything you can't do? I think I would read your grocery lists at this point....Can't wait for the next one!

Great finish to this duet! Mason and Sophie had been through so much and deserved a good ending to their story. Reading more about them, I come to love their characters even more than I did before. Mason is just the sweetest thing and everything I would want in a boyfriend. Sophie is a great character, after being through so much, she deserves to be happy. I loved her with her sister’s and Liam. Sophie is just so caring and loving. Sophie and Mason were absolutely adorable together, they proved that they could be there for each other, no matter what and if that’s not real love, then I don’t know what is! This story was filled with angsted, love, family, friends and great characters. I’m super excited to read Liam and Madelyn’s story!!!

MIND BLOWN. The conclusion to Sophie and Mason’s story sucked me in the whirlwind of events from the very beginning and I couldn’t stop reading even for a second. The intensity and seriousness of the situation left me in a state of aggravation and anxiety, but I could also feel the hope that Mason will save the day like a knight in shining armour. But Truly Yours isn’t just a resolve of dangerous situation Sophie end up in. It’s also a process of healing, trying to be the best version of yourself and to overcome traumatic experiences. This story is filled with longing, hope and love to the brim and it exceeded all of my expectations!
Truly Yours made me fall in love with Mason even more than before. The depth of his love for Sophie has no end and his protectiveness melted my heart. He showed patience and understanding, when Sophie needed his support. This guy couldn’t be any more perfect, for real. I admired Sophie’s determination to seek help and get better before she moved on with her life. I can totally understand why she needed time and closure. In her eyes Mason deserved the best and she didn’t want demons of the past hanging above their heads. Their love story is a suspenseful slow-burn, filled with yearning, steam and angst. But every curve on their road has strengthened their feelings and made them unbreakable.
Kennedy Fox created an emotional rollercoaster that will take your breath away. This book gives all the feels and makes you swoon. They say that there's a silver lining to every cloud and Mason and Sophie’s story is a perfect proof that this saying holds truth. Such an epic love is worth every bump on the road. I need to point out that the epilogue ends with a screeching halt and makes you want to smash something. I don’t know how am I supposed to wait patiently for Maddie and Liam’s story, but despite the fact that my heart is in my throat now, I just know that their duet will be incredible! I can't wait!

The Truly Duet is over and I wasn’t ready! I think Sophie and Mason are my it Kennedy Fox couple this book was SOOOOO good! Truly Yours was Truly the perfect mix of healing and opening your heart to what’s always been there! And I need more of it!
Mason is legit the definition of devotion. I’ve never seen or met another character, man or woman ever in my reading career that’s as devoted as Mason will always be. He’s the heart that will always catch you when you fall and I love it!
Sophie. My poor girl has been through SO much. With that being said, she’s definitely one of the strongest female characters I’ve ever met. It takes a lot to go through the things she did and even to realize sometimes stepping back is what you need to heal. A revelation like that would sound so obvious in her situation but for me it wasn’t and I loved her more for it.
Kennedy Fox wrote a book they had to dig deep for. I know what else is new right? But this book was different. The emotions, grief, and pain their characters ejected will unleash onto you. There’s no doubt. But with that being said that also means their happiness, healing, and joy will be felt by you too. Honestly to simply put it? Truly Yours is not only romance at its best, it’s real and raw life beyond imagination. That’s a Kennedy Fox book for you.

The ending of Truly Mine had me gasping. I needed more of Sophie and Mason’s story and desperately needed to know how it would unfold. And as soon as I started reading I was hooked.
Sophie’s been through hell and back. And just when she thinks everything’s finally getting back to normal, she finds herself living in that hell again. She’s broken beyond belief and her spirit is just as shattered. And with time little by little the light in Sophie starts to shine again.
Mason hurts for Sophie and for what she’s been through and what she’s still going through. He doesn’t push her and is everything patient. All he wants is to be there for Sophie in any way he can. No matter what, he isn’t going anywhere and he’ll wait however long it takes.
I loved how hard Mason and Sophie worked to not only get back to each other but also finding themselves. They’ve both been through a lot and having one another in their corner was crucial. Their story wasn’t easy and they definitely had hurdles to overcome, but it was beautiful nonetheless.
Truly Yours is a friends-to-lovers romance filled to the brim with suspense, drama, action, slow burn and plenty of angst to keep you on your toes. I loved Sophie and Mason and their bumpy, yet fought for journey. I can’t wait for more of the Roommates series and I’m on pins and needles itching for Liam and Maddie’s story! I NEED!!!

So I was definitely on the edge of my seat waiting for this one after the cliffhanger ending of book 1, Truly Mine. This book picked right back up at that cliffhanger spot and we were thrown right back into all the drama and action and emotions. It was really a great book to have a loyal guy, who didn't let little things that the girl did when she was upset cause him to get mad. He realized that he was maybe pushing too much or why she was behaving that way and was able to discuss things reasonably. I can't tell too much in my review without giving things away. But it was a pretty quick and easy read. Although after some of the bigger stuff happened at the beginning, there was a bit in the middle that was a little slow, and I was a little annoyed with how Sophie was behaving, albeit a normal romance novel type of behavior. And then I felt like their final obstacle was a little reminiscent of something from the book before, and almost wasn't that big of a deal. However I will stress again that I like when the characters are able to handle those things without the drama that seems to be only for drama's sake and that is done well in this book.
Once again the author leaves us hanging for what in the world will happen with the final sister's duet coming soon, we must know if Liam and Maddie will get together like she wants, or if he will mess it all up.

I wasn’t surprise that this second book starts right where the first one concluded with lots of suspense and a determined Mason! Now that this couple is finally together, you would think that everything is easy, but this story shows that there’s still a lot to overcome for them to get their HEA.
I loved the relationship between Mason and Sophie. You feel their love for each other in every single action. Mason is such a great man! I valued how he’s so devoted to Sophie. When she’s traumatized by the events of the past, he understands her need to seek help and he just keeps supporting her. He’s amazing in all his sweet actions, but he’s also fiercely protective. Sophie is really mature and knows that she needs to get better before getting invested in her love life with Mason. She has such a great group of family and friends to help her get over her upsetting feelings.
The slow burn between those two was once again killing me! We get small moments of tenderness here and there, but I was waiting for them to finally unleash their passion! It was definitely worth it with blazing hot moments!
As much as I enjoyed this book, I preferred the first one! I felt that some parts of Truly Yours were a little slow in the development of the intrigue. My favorite aspect of this book was Maddie! Seriously, that girl is a riot and I can’t wait for her duet with Liam after that shocking ending! Kennedy Fox signed here another lovely romance packed with emotion, suspense and humour! Another story you don’t want to miss!!

I’m really not sure how to rate this book…
First of all, I have to say that the story until 20% was really intense and I had to stop every few paragraphs in order to continue reading. To be honest, I found it so well written that I couldn’t put this book down. After that, though, the story wasn’t that interesting for me. I liked it, yes, but definitely not as much as the first part. Also, after Sophie goes through therapy something felt… off to me. It might be me and not the story but that’s what I felt.
As for the characters I can’t say I really connected with them. Their story was mostly ok , I enjoyed it and I’m happy they found their HEA but I wasn’t that invested in them as a couple.
I hope the next book about Liam and Maddie (who is my favorite of the sisters so far) will be more fast paced. I usually don’t like fast paced stories but both Lennon and Hunter’s and Sophie and Mason’s stories were soooo slow burn, I’m really sick of it.

Truly Yours is the second book in Mason and Sophie's duet and is told from both Mason and Sophie's point of view. WARNING: If you haven't yet read Truly Mine, I highly recommend you read it before diving into this book. Because Truly Yours is the conclusion to Mason and Sophie's duet, I'm not going to dive in too deep and spoil this for you all. Let's just say Mason and Sophie have some serious mountains to climb before one can fully put their trust in the other.
My Thoughts:
I'm at a loss for words after finishing Truly Yours! Half the time I was in tears, the other half I spent swooning over Mason!! After finishing Truly Mine, I knew I wasn't done with this character yet. One book just wouldn't have been enough. Thank god Kennedy Fox made Sophie and Mason's story a duet!
Mason is what I love and expect from a book boyfriend. He truly cares for those around him. He's sweet with a bit of a cocky side. He's protective but not in a way that feels suffocating. I really grew to admire his strength and his patience throughout this duet.
Sophie was as sweet as can be, that's the main reason why her situation was so hard to read at times. I legit wanted to crawl in my kindle and give this character a hug. No one deserves to go through what she went through, not even a character in a romance novel. I love when characters have a breakthrough moment. Towards the middle Sophie's sassy and feisty side started to show more and more. It was inspiring to watch her break through all the walls her head built around her heart. I loved watching her stand up for herself and fight for what's rightfully hers. Her future.
Overall, I loved this duet! If you're looking for a duet that is going to give you that perfect, All the feels moment, look no further and pick these two books up. For those that don't care to much for dark and gritty tales, I have to say, Truly Yours starts off on a dark note. But I also want to urge the readers to stick with this one. The darkness fades. This is a love story you aren't going to want to miss out on!

Kennedy Fox started Truly Yours off with a bang! We pick up right where we left off with Truly Mine and I was on the edge of my freaking seat! I was panicking along with Mason & Sophie. Once we move past that, we then have to deal with the emotional fall out. I was so proud of Sophie to realize she couldn't let this go, especially after she never fully dealt with what happened in Truly Mine. My heart hurt for her and I wanted her to find her happiness...KENNEDY FOX, GIVE MY GIRL HER HAPPILY EVER AFTER!
I loved how Mason could be a complete alpha but yet so compassionate and understanding at the same time. This SLOW BURN was S-L-O-W-L-Y killing me...but so worth it!
The only thing I didn't care for was the added drama with

Yes the rest of Mason and Sophie is finally here!!!! Ok ok so it wasn't that long of a wait but it felt like years...lol But that's what it feels like when you are waiting on a Kennedy Fox book part 2 or well a part 1 for that matter. Their writing still continues to blow me away at every turn and the way the can bring new and exciting things to each new book. And have you just waiting on pins and needles for the next part or laughing at what just happened or even the times you have to put your kindle down because you can't see the words because they are so blurry from the tears streaming down your face. And even though we have fought different battles I see myself in Sophie a lot and I connected with her so much. She is a fierce warrior who survived some things no one should ever have to. And standing right there by her side, in front of her or at her back wherever she may need is Mason. No matter how at some times she tries to push him away and lets old insecurities in and believes she not good enough for him. Will she work through them? If you are still holding out on reading this dynamic duo then one.....why??? And two then if you want in my opinion some of the more emotional books that they have then start with this series!!!! Truly Yours was an intense, angsty, sexy, and suspenseful conclusion to Mason and Sophie’s duet, and it definitely took me by surprise.
The storyline for Truly Mine and Truly Yours was different than I anticipated. Kennedy Fox made Mason and Sophie’s duet a lot more intense and suspenseful than Hunter and Lennon’s duet, and I honestly wasn’t expecting their story to feature those elements so prominently. The beginning of Truly Yours was a lot to take in, and there were some parts that I liked better than others throughout. However, I still enjoyed the conclusion to Mason and Sophie’s story, and was very happy with the ending. Although I will say the last few pages left me reeling and wondering what the heck to expect in Liam and Maddie’s duet in Always Mine and Always Yours.
The characters were wonderful, with the exception of a few secondary ones. I loved Mason and Sophie, and while I didn’t always like what they did or didn’t do, I was still rooting for them. Their journey was difficult and far from easy. There were many obstacles and trials and tribulations to overcome, but luckily all of heartbreak and hardship was worth it. I loved seeing so many familiar faces again, and their addition to the story.

The conclusion to Mason and Sophie’s story is finally here! These two had grabbed my heart from the beginning and I love their ending. Kennedy Fox knows how to keep their reader engaged and you don’t feel as though you are reading the same story all the time. Mason and Sophie will have some tough times ahead, but if they can just continue to believe in their relationship they will be stronger. I love how these two balance one another and because of their experiences they are able to give one another the silent support they both need. I can’t wait to see what will happen next with the Corrigan sister.
Sophie is still trying to deal with what happen with her boyfriend and than when her life is threaten she believes she is no longer good enough for Mason. Can she just let him go though after all that he has done for her?
Mason isn’t letting Sophie go without a fight. He knows what she is worth and he will what he can to remind her each day that she is worth the risk.
As they navigate their fragile relationship together they will a few obstacles along the way. Will they be able to believe in one another to make it together? Or will they allow outside influences take over their chance at a life together?

This book was so incredible! While at times it broke my heart, I always knew Mason and Sophie would make it work. They have such strong connection and love each other. This picks up right where Truly Mine ended, which is always good. Sophie is strong, a fighter but she also has a soft side. We see her go thru a traumatic experience and Mason is by her side supporting her the best way he can. It was heartbreaking but needed. Friendzoned is never good but sometimes to rebuild is necessary. This book will make you laugh as well. One scene in particular had me cheering and laughing so hard. It was classic and needed! Sophie and Mason have a special place in my heart. I can't wait to read about Luke and Maddie in the next books! I'm sure that will be drama filled lol.

Thankfully there is no time jump and we pick the story up where we left Mason and Sophie. Their relationship slows down in this one and we see their feelings much more. This was a fast paced suspenseful ride that at times had me on the edge of my seat. I loved watching them fight everyone to get back to each other. I found this one very emotional. I just love when a man makes himself vulnerable for the woman he loves. A fantastic conclusion to the duet and another WTH ending. Can't wait for the next duet.

Darling, my heart still skips a beat when I think about this book. It stole my heart and made me fall in love with the characters even more.
Kennedy Fox did a wonderful job and in my opinion, the second book in this duet is even better than the first one. I'm utterly speechless of how much I adored it.
Mason and Sophie truly did get a story that did these characters justice. A storyline so beautiful and strongly written.
Honestly, it's absolutely worthy of the five stars and your time.
Remember the cliffhanger at the end of the first book that made us all long for the next one? Well, Truly Yours dives straight into that one. I won't give away much of that because you need to experience it for yourself. I'll only tell you that it's filled with danger, suspense and of course love. It had me gasping during certain chapters, it had me biting my nails because of the suspense, but mostly it made my heart beat faster with how much love the two had for each other.
The characters shined so brightly in this story and it made me fall in love even more with them. They grew more realistic and in-depth with every chapter that passed and I wished I had the chance to meet them. And I feel like Sophie truly was the one that had an amazing character developed. That girl went through so much and my heart goes out to her.
Mason and Sophie are absolutely made for each other and this story points it out once again.
They gave me all the feels and dang was their love story filled with bumps in the road. But all epic matches can conquer everything and in the end, it only brought them closer.
Truly Yours deals with important issues which made this story extremely emotional, but also it makes this book even more worthy of your time. It shows how hard overcoming certain issues are.
Kennedy Fox did a wonderful job with this one. Their writing is sublime and only great authors can make us feel all the emotions a person is capable of feeling. I can only say: "Well done." They were able to keep a story simple, but still epic. And they made me swoon even more about Mason. God, do I love a protective man.
Honestly, Truly Yours is a solid five stars. A romance book that has all the aspects to be an epic love story. Great writing, a fantastic storyline, and loveable characters. You should dive into the story straight away!

Mason and Sophie, Sophie and Mason. These two over the course of several hundred pages have made me:
Laugh
Swoon
Become annoyed AF
Gasp out loud
Become turned on
Face palm of all face palms
Yell
Throw things
Sigh heavily
Fall in love
While I was initially reading Truly Yours, I immediately admired how hard KFox went in the beginning of it. It's not something you generally see from them, and I was 👏🏻 living 👏🏻 for 👏🏻 it. By no means is this a dark romance, but for Brooke and Lyra it is far from their cowboys and babies and I loved it. LOVED it. (Not as much as I love Liam, back TF off, he's mine, and I'm rabid about it)
Sophie endures some heavy shit. Heavier than ex boyfriends who are grade A+ assholes. Nah, KFox decided Sophie would have to suffer a helluva lot more trauma before finally getting her HEA. Poor sweet Sophie, but this girl is strong. Strong AF, and comes out the other side of darkness standing tall.
Sure, she stumbles along the way, but Mason (and LIAMWHOISMINE, and her sisters and Hunter) are there to help her up. To love her. You know, the more I think about it, the more this is just Sophie's story. Mason is merely there to ensure her she is loved when she let's the vitriol of others kill her self worth. Sophie grows exponentially in such a short time and even when I wanted to fucking throttle her, I was still cheering her on.
Once Mason gets his head out of his ass in Truly Mine, (I get it, he had some pretty heavy fucking baggage himself) we find out he is the epitome of doting, caring, supportive, ALL THE THINGS. This boy is so goddamn in love it's painful (in a good way, obvs). Seeing him lose his ever lovin' mind and then reeling it in for Sophie's sake, giving her space, time, and unrelenting love was 100/10. (*still not my Liam tho)
Basically, KFox wrote another 10/10 story, because that's what they do. They write us wonderful books, filled with humor, hurt, heart, and glorious sexy times. The end.

After the jaw-dropping ending of Truly Mine, I didn’t waste any time jumping directly into Truly Yours. This one picked up right where Truly Mine ended and I was amazed at what these characters had endured. Sophie really showed her strength when she recognized she needed time to heal emotionally from the events of the past several months. And for her, that meant pulling away from Mason and putting their relationship on hold while she underwent counseling and worked to find herself again. While part of me wanted to cry at that, because they were finally able to be together, I also understood and applauded Sophie for understanding she needed help.
Meanwhile, Mason was an absolute rock for Sophie. Patient and kind and utterly devoted. It killed him to not be able to care for Sophie fully like he wanted, but he was determined to be there for her and support her in the way she needed. Throughout it all, he was also dealing with the potential legal fall-out from previous events and mounting pressure from his father (who was such a high-powered sleaze ball).
The slow-burn aspect across Mason and Sophie’s duet was off the charts, but the pay-off was so worth the wait. From their first meeting, more than three years previously, their chemistry and connection were strong. And over the years it shifted from frenemies, to the closest of friends, to more. I loved the evolution of their relationship over time and the bond they formed through so many shared experiences was rock solid. It was a long and rocky road – one that saw Sophie’s life at risk and had staggering complications – but it made their outcome even sweeter.
Kennedy Fox created a delicious blend of drama, action, angst, and romance. Sometimes drama-free is what I want, but when I’m looking for something with more bite, and a couple that has to fight for their happy ending, Fox totally delivers. I love how throughout the span of the books, these characters become so familiar that I feel like I’m reading about friends. I ache for these characters, I cheer them on, I yell at them when they behave like idiots and won’t get out of their own way, and more than anything, I love their love stories.

It killed him to not be able to care for Sophie fully like he wanted, but he was determined to be there for her and support her in the way she needed. Throughout it all, he was also dealing with the potential legal fall-out from previous events and mounting pressure from his father (who was such a high-powered sleaze ball).
The slow-burn aspect across Mason and Sophie’s duet was off the charts, but the pay-off was so worth the wait. From their first meeting, more than three years previously, their chemistry and connection were strong. And over the years it shifted from frenemies, to the closest of friends, to more. I loved the evolution of their relationship over time and the bond they formed through so many shared experiences was rock solid. It was a long and rocky road – one that saw Sophie’s life at risk and had staggering complications – but it made their outcome even sweeter.
Kennedy Fox created a delicious blend of drama, action, angst, and romance. Sometimes drama-free is what I want, but when I’m looking for something with more bite, and a couple that has to fight for their happy ending, Fox totally delivers. I love how throughout the span of the books, these characters become so familiar that I feel like I’m reading about friends. I ache for these characters, I cheer them on, I yell at them when they behave like idiots and won’t get out of their own way, and more than anything, I love their love stories.

Fanstastic conclusion as usual by this amazing author duo. I absolutely love Kennedy Fox duets, even if their cliffhangers give me anxiety, lol. Let me say, here, if you haven't read book one in the duet, you need to stop reading as this review may spoil that first book for you! This duet is not standalone reading and the first book ends in a major cliffhanger.
So, as you know, Mason got himself together to be what Sophie needs. After three long years of fighting his attraction to Sophie, Mason is finally able to move forward with a relationship. Then the cliffhanger! It was very scary to say the least when book one ended. This book opens right where book one ended. And let me tell you that my heart was racing in those first chapters. Yes, it was very bad. Kennedy Fox stopped at nothing to give us an angsty, intense and emotional read. There were some very graphic and frightening moments, so be warned.
When Sophie is finally rescued, the continuation of Mason and Sophie's relationship was a bit halted because of what she suffered through. And do you know what? I appreciated that because it made the circumstances moving forward more believable. The situation was realistic. Mason and Sophie's journey to happily-ever-after was easy to believe thanks to the author's caring and talented writing. Truth be told, I don't know how I would have gone through what Sophie did and come away with a positive ending. Mason was patient AND he was incredible with how he treated her. He never faltered or wavered in his devotion to Sophie or the future he was determined for them to share.
I don't want to say anything more because you should experience all the feels on your own. I absolutely recommend this duet as well as the others in the Roommates series. You will not be disappointed.

HOLY MOLY!!!! I cannot believe all that Mason and Sophie had to go thru to get their happily ever after but BOY was it AMAZING!!!
Truly Yours is a friends-to-lovers roommate romance filled with drama, suspense, & of course, plenty of angsty slow burn goodness you've come to expect in a Kennedy Fox book! And I do mean LOTS of ANGST!!!
I absolutely love this duet SOOOO much!! I knew that Mason and Sophie's story would be amazing because it's Kennedy Fox and they always rock it.
So Truly Mine was the first book in the duet series of Mason and Sophie. If you haven't read it, make sure you read it first. Truly Mine leaves you in shock to put it mildly. Now it's time to finally see what happens. I knew it was going to get crazy and sad and all but it went even more than I could even think.
I absolutely love how Mason just continues to stick by Sophie and supports her through it all. I'm so happy that they finally got their happy ending and can't wait to hear more from them in the next duet.
Now can we hurry up and get to 2020 where we can hear Liam and Maddie's story??!! We got a slight preview of them within the epilogue of Truly Yours and I'm just shocked by the little preview. I cant wait and I know it will be SOOOO worth it!

I can’t begin to explain my love for Kennedy Fox’s writing but only that it continues to grow with the works they put out like Truly Yours! It literally has all things that you could want in a read: romance, mystery, thrill (both anxiety and chemistry) and packed full of feels. To be vague (don’t want to give anything away) it picks up from the nail biting scene that Truly Mine left off with and keeps you holding your breathe until the ending. I couldn’t begin to imagine the direction this would go but am so happy with how everything played out. It unfolded like a movie in my mind with each new chapter. The writing style flows so easily between these two authors who are pure magic together.
I loved the complexity and depth that they gave each main character and appreciate how easily they navigated the dual POV. You felt like it was two different characters with their own personalities and feelings while connecting to both of them equally and instantly.
I also am addicted to how they hook you to all of the secondary characters. It’s like they give you additional books related to past loved series leads while hooking you to a possible new series with others that are woven into the one you’re currently reading.

Mason and Sophie’s story is complete, and I have to say this book was everything I was hoping for! Truly Yours Picks up right where Truly Mine ends so make sure you read Truly Mine before you start this one.
I loved their story so much. It was a story of love, support, and healing. And it left my heart so full. Kennedy Fox writes the best book boyfriends and Mason sets the bar even higher. He is loving, patient, reliable, and devoted. The way he loves Sophie is perfection.
And Sophie…she deserves all the love! I seriously love her so much. She had been through so much, but she didn’t let it break her. One of the things I loved most about her was her ability to recognize that she needed time to work on herself. It takes strength to acknowledge that you need time to heal. And faith in the ones you love that they will be there to support you when you struggle. Sophie did that. And Mason was there every step of the way loving her and supporting her in any way she needed. Their journey was not easy but it was beautiful.
