Truly Yours: Mason & Sophie #2

interesting read and enjoyed that it wasn't all romance and sweet nothing's that can become monotonous as in the previous book in the series (Hunter and Lennon book 2)....I enjoy how the ending sets the intrigue and tone for the next duet.

Finally, Mason and Sophie have acknowledged how they truly feel about each other but of course, life isn’t that easy. Another trauma is thrown into their path which causes Sophie to step back. She still loves Mason but needs to deal with everything that has happened to her from Weston and Dalton. Mason is amazing as he provides a calm place for Sophie without any pressure to allow her to heal. While they weather these challenges, Mason has to deal with issues from his dad. I loved this journey, the love that these two share isn’t rushed, allowing Sophie to deal with all that happened but yet they both know that they share an incredible love. Watching Sophie flex her emotions when she shows her jealousy was fun. I also enjoy that we continue to interact with Lennon, Hunter, Maddie and Liam along the way seeing how their lives impact Mason and Sophie as well as what they are doing themselves. My heart went through the ringer for Sophie and Mason. So many intense moments and then feeling like I was a part of her recovery.

I'm really not sure that it's fair that these two authors can make me cry from laughing so hard and in the next book they can rip my heart out with just their fingertips and leave me feeling wrecked. I'm just in constant awe of the way these authors can create something so unique and so special. This duet is a real double punch... to the heart and to the gut. I'm really not even sure how to write this review. I don't want to say something that will spoil if for people who are waiting to bring on the duet. I'm gonna be brief and to the point and believe me, that's difficult for me!! Truly Yours left me with my mouth hanging open... I felt shock and awe. Perhaps that's my only adjective for Kennedy Fox... awe. Truly Yours is a step up on the angst ladder from Truly Mine... or more like the next floor up. Nothing comes easy for Mason and Sophie so get your heart ready. There's angst... there's drama... oh; the suspense but there's hope and healing, compassion and friendship, love and caring. It is a difficult journey and Kennedy Fox wrote an amazing story... a duet. My favorite thing not just about this duet but about the Roommate duet as well, it's real. Fox throws in real issues that real people deal with. It isn't all bad though; the banter and fun between the group of friends warmed my heart and gave me hope for all of them. Were down to just Liam and Maddie now and I can't wait to dig into that girl's mind. I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion.
