Top Notch Tats (TNT) has been Gage’s baby since his sophomore year in college. His only dream is to have the best tattoo shop in L.A. (So. Cal). “Jesse” James is the moody former artist. He feels lost and stuck in a future career as an accountant out of guilt. He’s been with The Crew since fifth grade. Hey BookLand,

I write under the pen name Rainy Flower, but my real name is just as unique. I'm a dedicated wife and loving mom to three boys/men. I've lived in Southern California my whole life, but let's not talk about age. Unlike some authors I didn't fall in love with books until I was in my late twenties. That's when I decided to teach myself how to read and write beyond a fourth grade level. Then in 2021 after years of on and off reading my husband encouraged me to, "Stop reading other peoples' books and try to write your own." So that's what I did. I've always been told I have a great imagination and I'm a good storyteller. All my books will talk about mental health since I have bipolar and I know this field from first hand experience. I'm not a huge fan of fade into black sooooo they will always have spice too.

I found this book from a post by the author in a Facebook group and I loved the blurb so I gave it a go. Boy am I glad I did! This story centers around Mistory (love that name) aka Lex, a recent college grad looking to write a romance novel about a tattoo artist but needs some help researching the field. She finds the Top Notch Tats shop and the MILK men.

I loved this story, I loved all the diverse characters - each with their own real issues, wants, and dreams, I loved the friendships and interactions between the main characters of the harem and the side characters. This story sucked me right in, I had to keep reading the book. I couldn't put it down that I kept reading at work until I finished!!

I think the only thing holding me back from rating this 5 stars was that Lex is the bad*ss girl, who knows martial arts and can throw knives but she didn't tell anyone about threatening calls/emails. I felt like when you watch a scary movie and you're yelling at the TV for them not to be an idiot and go outside! HA

But in all honesty, this book really did it for me. I highly, highly recommend giving it a read and I definitely cannot wait for Naughty - Book 2.

I liked this book, but it definitely needs a few fixes. I feel like there were a bunch of grammar errors that started to detract from the story. I also feel like there’s a lot of ideas in this book that could have been a bit more fleshed out. I will read the next as I feel there is a lot of promise. I also hope that more characters get a bit more time.

Where do I start, this book is full of steam from the start and the characters pull you into the storyline.

The way it's written by many POV's also helps pull you into the story and see everything from their perspective.

This story follows Lex, an author, as she enters the world of a tattoo artists and starts working at a tattoo shop while researching her book. Soon she is surrounded by hot tattooed muscular men and feels drawn to more than one. The steamy scenes are scorching hot and the twist at the end had me eager to read the next one. I'll be counting down the days till I can read the next one to see what journey the characters lives take.

Wow wow wow I could not put it down, the characters are so different yet interesting and as you read through you can maybe see where this story may go, but it might be wishful thinking on my behalf. Rainy Flower is a new author to me and she's hit it out of the ball park. I'm extremely excited for the second book.

Ok so I would give this story a 3.75 rounded up to 4 stars. I was slow to give this series a try because the blurb was very frustrating. It was hard to tell what the story was even going to be about and who the main “cast” of love interests were. There is a lot of names in this book and it’s very hard to keep track of who they are.
The idea and story are good. The slow burn of some of the relationships was a bit painful though. For the first book it’s really only a MF Romance with a little bit of flirting with male interest 2 and the hot/cold “I’m not good for you” nonsense with guy 3. Guy 4 isn’t even in the story yet.
The story jumps a little bit too much and glosses over interactions or events that really should to be addressed. The introduction of new characters is really abrupt and the drama it should be causing doesn’t really land which is disappointing, because it definitely would have added spice to the story.
An edit is needed to address the spelling errors and incorrect words being used in sentences but all in all it is a good read and I’ll definitely continue with book 2.
