I Highly recommend the Tremol-No.
However, it does do everything it's supposed to do. I'll go off claims it has on the back of the box...
1. "Easy to install using simple tools!"
This is true actually. All you need is a screwdriver and some wire cutters / strippers. If you have a soldering kit, that would help also but it's not needed. You pretty much remove and replace. Bam, easy.
2. "Works on most trems made since 1954!"
It worked on my trem, a Floyd Rose. If you haven't already seen the chart, here it is
[...]
3. "Increased Sustain and Better Tone!"
I haven't noticed much of this. I mean my guitar was already fine on sustain and tone, I guess if your guitar struggles with that this product may help. I'm not very sure myself...
Other things to mention is that it only has space for 4 springs, unlike the 5 that a typical floyd rose can hold. This isn't an issue for a large majority of players as they usually stick with the 3 that is standard. Also the screws tend to fall out if you leave them just untighted, so if you want to buy this to turn your trem into a dive only, you have to keep the extra screw some place safe if you want to change back to something else. Also not an issue unless you play live and want to use this lock. Other than that, solid product,

The Trem-no is the only way to go. I can do drop tunning, dive bombs and I can even make record dives and still stay tuned.
The Trem-no is well made. The machining is impeccable.
I would recommend visiting their website . There you will get instructional videos on installation and fitment when it comes to ordering.
Trem-no.com
Be warned though, quality isn't cheap. By the time I paid duty and the taxman this was almost a 100 bucks.
