My very first read/listen from the amazing Kennedy Fox duo! This is Dangerous is Logan & Kayla's story and the first book in their duet. Be advise that this book ends with a cliffhanger. The story is intense, intriguing, emotional, sexy, funny and twisty. I absolutely loved it. However, after listening to the audible version of it, I was a little disappointed to find out the male characted was being performed by the same female narrator that brought Kayla's character to life. I have nothing against it, but is not my cup of tea. While I praise her for the characterization of all secondary charactes, I just can't connect with Logan knowing a female narrators if trying to bring this character to life. If you don't mind with this type of performance, you're are going to enjoy this audiobook. I absolutely loved reading this book and can't wait to start the conclusion!

Oh my can Kennedy Fox give us a dozy of a cliffhanger. This story really had my heart going out to Kayla and Logan. They were two very different people and yet fit each other perfectly. This slow burn romance was only getting started toward the end of the book and then bam...I can't wait to read book 2.

Book 5 in the Checkmate series and book 1 in the Logan and Kayla’s duet. Loved this addition to this series. Logan and Kayla was a great couple. The push and pull between them was so good. Lia does a great job in narrating this story. She was able to take Kennedy’s words and bring them to life and take you on a ride that will leave you wanting more. Can’t wait to see how their story ends.
