This was an okay read but could have been much better as the premise for a great story was there.
Toby is a gigolo. He has been married to Dee for 20 years and been faithfully unfaithful to her for as long as she can remember. He chooses his mistresses based solely on the financial gain he stands to benefit from them. In each instance he leaves his wife and daughter and moves in with the lady of the moment but gives his wife the contact number of where he is staying. Bizarre!
In this tale there are besides the investigating police duo, 4 main female characters- Dee, plus three of Toby's mistresses. Babs, Misty and Gwen all suffer because of Toby's outrageous behaviour but also because they are willing doormats. Unfortunately all 4 women come across as decidedly stupid which lost the story a star. The ending was also unlikely, which lost it a further star. 3 stars

One of the best psycho thrillers I've read. I enjoyed that it had NO gross, violent, vulgar language, but kept my🤗 attention from cover to cover.
    Congrats to Ms. Keogh!!!

I really loved reading this book. I was hooked early, and I love when something happens that makes me go backwards in the book, assuming I did not remember it correctly!! The different POV from each woman was great. Wish there had been 1 or 2 from victim's perspective, just to confirm just how shallow actually were!!! Thank you for this wonderful experience

This book kept me wondering who was responsible. Takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions at the man who lies to so many women. Their lives changed forever!

This is a warning to women to choose their men wisely!

Great twist of an ending. Next book coming up!

A man becomes romantically involved with a number of women. He moves from one to another when he seas an opportunity for a richer target. This leads to old flames with jealous tendencies and regrets wanting revenge for the humiliation caused. I enjoyed the story but could have done with less of the descriptions of breakfasts and coffee etc.
