I binge read this set because it is SO.Effin.Addictive! This installment pulls into an intriguing scene where we meet THE Marco. I absolutely love this guy. He is one of my all time favorite guys to read now. I love the dynamic between Marco and River. This book had more suspense, more angst, some closure, but so many more questions popped up and I can’t wait to find out more answers! First, I miss Nathaniel but now I’m curious what his deal is as I don’t think he is as good and pure as he presented to River while they were dating.

Kai is an a$$ - he needs to get his his head out of his a$$ and break off whatever the hell deal he has with Freya, and grow some freaking balls.

Marco though, holy crap. He’s so intense and over the top in everything. The interactions and heat between River and him are so intense. I can’t believe there’s still three more books left and I have no clue which man gets the HEA with Rider. (Not going to lie - still sad that Tyler is out of the picture.)

I'm not gonna say why because I don't like to give spoilers but I'm big mad right now and am giving one of the main characters the most evil side eye I can muster.

We're starting to really get to know River in a much deeper way this book and I'm really enjoying the exploration of her character. Rhe world is filling out and we're getting a bigger picture of it as a whole.

I again can not wait to read the next book in this series and if I hadn't finished this one just as I got to work I'd already be starting it.
