The behind the scenes of a TV dance competition reality show take the lead for dancer Gina and her partner Stone. He is also a reality show star and knows the ropes however this is different. Gina is adamant about not being used for a showmance. The producer is cooking up one for her and Stone. The beauty of the story is the developing relationship of Stone and Gina as the story progresses. A delightful novel. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Take The Lead is a fun contemporary romance by Alexis Daria. Ms. Daria has crafted a well-written book and populated it with a phenomenal cast of characters. Gina is a professional dancer on The Dance Off show, where couples compete with one pro dancer and one non-pro dancer. Stone and his family are on a reality tv show and he's selected to be Gina's partner for the upcoming competition. Stone and Gina's story is packed with humor, drama, angst, sizzle and backstabbing. I didn't think I'd enjoy

I liked Stone and Gina's story a lot. Their story is cute, fun, flirty, emotional and slow simmering until things reach the boiling point and then there is plenty of steam. Easy to read and with characters that are easy to care about and root for, this book was a very enjoyable read. This is my unsolicited, frank review.
