Works as it should
It does work pretty well. I haven't set it higher than medium setting in 40 degree weather because it does heat the water well. I also have an enclosed shower that has one side for showering and one side for a camping toilet. The pump works well, but don't expect at home pressure. It's just enough to get the job done though. I also tried hanging the shower head from the roof of my shower, I don't recommend it because it somehow shuts the pilot off and the water goes cold from back pressure. You can hook it up directly to a larger propane tank so you don't have to keep buying these little disposable ones. You just need the correct hose and a larger refillable propane tank. I have showered about 12 times with the same D batteries in the pump so far so it seems to last a while. I bought a small table to set my water heater on and submerged the pump in a plastic container that you see in the pictures. I'm not sure how much water it holds but that is enough water for a comfortable shower. I do recommend this for camping in cold weather. I'm happy with my purchase so far.

LOVE IT!!
Long story short. Bought it for my cottage for a winter shower becuase we draw our water from the lake and its winterized. I had no need for it to be under battery power so bought a 12 volt adapter and a 1.2 gallon per minute pump and hooked it up. With the water pump they supply you 5 gallon pail will last 15 minutes. 7 mins with my other pump. I literally went down to the lake and cut a hole threw 18inches of ice and filled my rubbermaid container full with ice chunks still floating around to have a shower..water was warm.. not hot not cold but good enough. I left the water to warm up over night and had the GREATEST HOT SHOWER in my cottage that I never knew was possible. Packaging good, quality good, and for $300 if you have a hunt camp or cottage/ winter retreat that if only you had a shower would make that third day nasty feeling go away this is the answer! I had a shower everyday for 10 days up there it had no issues!
Cons, the little pump they give you is ok, not much pressure when you have the unit on the floor and the shower head at normal shower height. Do not use rechargeable batteries they don't have the juice. No on off switch on the shower head which is ok cause it takes 15 seconds to start heating up. The feet of the unit leaves black marks everywhere it touches, gonna put new pads on it and problem solved.
PROS.
HOT SHOWER IN A PLACE YOU NEVER THOUGHT POSSIBLE A HOT SHOWER COULD HAPPEN!!!
