Ridge Kincaide is a man used to getting his way by any means. He knows he is controlling and a pain in the butt to say the least. Lacey has been an outcast in this small town her whole life, thanks to her parents. Now she has managed to get herself trapped in it as a cliche. She knows the right thing to do is let Ridge know but she is willing to let him walk away with no responsibility. What she does not count on is him wanting the responsibility. A fast paced story that gives a little more insight to the Kincaide family as they all adjust and accept Ridge's news. I loved another trip to Prospect and cannot wait to return. Enjoy!

Ridge Kincaid is head of his family empire and this family is definitely different there cunning,manipulative, impulsive and maybe even dangerous but that just makes the men of the family more sexy there definitely not boring and Ridge Kincade has really gone and done it he's managed get the town reject pregnant her family are louses drug dealing filth and no matter what Lacey dose the town never lets her or her brother forget were they come from. Lacy being pregnant isnt the only problem Ridge is kinda engaged and it's even more complicated because of a will but the true spider in this messed up web is Sage Kincaid matriarch and momma to Ridge you hate her and kinda feel bad that she's so messed up then she dose something really wrong and you dislike her all over again. Lacey new having a one night stand with Ridge was a mistake just not one were she's about to become a mother I mean the town thinks she's trash and the Kincaid family is treated like Kings she loves that she's going to be a mother but how is she ever going to make things work with Ridge when her worthless parents and Sage Kincade stand against her. This is the second book about the Kincade family it's got drama alot of passion between Ridge and Lacey and some side characters that just scream watch out. I liked how you don't have to read the first book to enjoy the second one but you definitely want read the first book because this family is wild and I cant wait to see were the authors take the Kincaid family next. I was allowed to read and advance copy of this book and this is my honest review.

Lacey is poor, the product of drug dealing, permanently high and damaged parents, scourge of the town, fiercely independent. One night together leads to a pregnancy and the results and events become more involved and complicated becuase of their natures. Lots of disagreements, poor decisions and choices, interference, discord on both sides. Looks like a disaster. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
