What a surprsing little amp!

I got the BAT200 to power my 2X10 fender cab. I have three rigs, a Hartke LH1000paired with a 4X10 fender cab, a TX300 Hartke over a 4X8 Siesmic audio cab and this one. The BAT200 is LOUD! I use it with the gain about 30% bass just above flat and all else flat. It just sounds great. I would recommend this amp for any small to medium venues, and large ones via the direct out. You could even mount it on your pedal board.
All in all, five stars.

it's a great little amp super portable, sounds great, looks great, it can be super loud but also quiet enough for your bedroom sounds great on guitar too

Simple satisfaction

Purchased recently along with the bc208 cab. Was nervous before purchase due to some reviews about failures of some of these when purchased from another site, but I'm feeling pretty confident with this unit. It has held up splendidly through a few outdoor gigs recently, one of which was a pretty sizable wedding with decent pa support. Tone to my ears is very transparent. I usually set my other amp (ampeg pf-800) flat and I'm able to get a great tone, same with this. It has felt a little warm after playing for a while but I just power it down during set breaks. Only thing I can think of that would make it perfect would be something like a standby or mute switch that I would feel more confident with instead of powering down completely during a set break.

Using it as Guitar Amp

I'm using it with my DV Mark 1x12 open back
It has a clean prestine tone, perfect for jazz or Pedal Platform.
I also use it as a Power Amp and use the Pre-Amps on the HX and it works amazing.
Save A LOT of money and I have a lightweigth, versatile, great sounding rig.

Poweful and portable

This TC Electronic bass head has the sound that I always love to hear with my basses and, without moving the knobs so much, I only boost the mids a little bit. The tone control works in 80 Hz for bass, 400 Hz for mids and 4.2 kHz for treble, that I found perfect for my needs.

I use the bass head for live performance (small and outdoor restaurants and, big stages) and, for recording in home studios. It won't dissapoint you! I tested it with my TC electronic BC 208 and with a Laney 400W 4x10 cab in different locations, it sounds huge for any genre you need to play (I will add a few pictures of the setup).

I won't say that I tested so many bass heads, only a few from Gallien Krueger (Backline 600, 700 RB), SWR 750 Pro X, a few from Ampeg, Fender and Hartke but, in my opinion, one of the best bass heads that I tested, competing with the Hartke HA2500 and the Gallien Krueger 700 RB. If you consider the price and how portable it is, there is no competitor for it.

It's well built, looks amazing and super light. The only cons that I could find is that it doesn't have the option for use it with speakon connectors and, there is no Pre/Post switch for the DI out.

Thanks to the Sweetwater team, I'm loving this bass head.
