Trouble at Brayshaw High

Rate this book
“You don’t belong.”

No words whispered in anger have ever rung more true.

They’re the Kings of Brayshaw with the world at their feet, destined for greatness and in need of control.
I’m the girl from the ghetto with nothing to offer and as defiant as they come.

They say it doesn’t matter, that I’m one of them now, and nothing could ever change that. Not even me, should I dare try.

But they’re wrong.
They underestimate how far I’ll go to protect them.

Trouble is coming...and they have no idea.

5 BRAYGirl CROWNS

Omg!! I didn’t think it was possible to love these boys and Raven more, but I did. If it is possible, Trouble at Brayshaw High IS HOTTER and filled with more twists and turns. Lord, I have a massive book hangover!

Maddoc, Royce and Captain have my heart. Even though we met and fell in love with these boys in book one, we get to see more behind what internally motivates these men, and I found myself falling deeper for them. Maddoc with his protective and dominant ways is more vocal with his feelings and need for Raven (INSERT ALL THE SWOONING). Royce shows his softer side as well as his playboy nature, and Captain shows his more stoic and thoughtful personality as the voice of reason. I relished every single moment with them together as a family and when they put on their Brayshaw King roles....I cannot resist them...AT ALL.

Raven continues to be a favorite heroine of mine. She grows so much in this book, learning to trust and love, and she is thrown for some loops. While she still reacts to these curveballs in a Raven-like way, there is a maturity to her choices which exemplifies the evolution of her character. I love that she is strong enough to run with these boys and loyal to her core.

Raven and Maddoc are ALL of the things. I love these two together. I live for their moments of intimacy, their moments of unadulterated passion, their moments of possession, and the moments when they reign together. These two are a force, and are one of my favorite couples!

Meagan Brandy absolutely blew my mind with the plot of this book. As readers know, it picks up after the massive cliffhanger of book one, and while I will not spoil anything, know that Meagan does these characters right. She gives readers the suspense the angst that we know is coming, but she is true to them and their choices. She engages readers in a more evolved plot that moves beyond the romance of Maddoc and Raven, and I was enthralled by every single page. What readers should absolutely expect are plot surprises that will absolutely blow your mind. Get ready for all the theories when this one ends, because my mouth was left gaping when the last page was read.

Trouble at Brayshaw High did not just meet my expectations. IT SURPASSED THEM! I devoured every single moment, and even when it was all said and done, I still craved more. More boys. More Raven. More of the Brayshaw world. I am truly a BRAY GIRL for Life, and that is never going to change.

Meagan brandy is in my opinion a very good story teller which makes a great author, because through the whole book I was enthralled by the character's story. I doesn't matter what age you are if you enjoy a good story that will keep you from page 1 all the way through. This is the one

“She wants to fuck with my head? It’s worked.
She wants to prove a point? She’s done it.
She thinks I’ll back down? She’s fucking wrong.”

Trouble at Brayshaw and Meagan Brandy have just claimed my soul!

Ive literally just sat and read for 8 hours straight, no eating, no adulting, nothing.

Because Meagan has just delivered one of my favourite books of the year.

These boys and their story own my soul. Everything you think you’ve guessed, all of the theories... throw them right out of the window because you are so so wrong!!

Maddoc, Captain And Royce are back- along with their queen Raven and I can’t even begin to describe what I am feeling.

“Go on, Play your games, baby. I’ve got more moves than you can handle.”

The secrets, lies and betrayal had my stomach twisted in knots, that sick feeling in the pit of my stomach the whole way through the book. Just as one secret comes to light, Meagan slams you on your ass with another!

“Maybe if my body bleeds, my heart won’t.”

Raven is as sassy, fiery and scrappy as ever! That girl never backs down, is loyal to a fault. She won’t back down, even if it means that she gets hurt in the process. Her character development was huge in this book. I loved every second of her.

”Raven Carver is mine. Whether she wants to be now or not. Period.”

Maddoc- oh my big man. His pain, his loyalty, his possessive alpha personality.... you thought you saw a sexy as fuck Maddoc in Boys of Brayshaw High... prepare yourself for big man on speed lol. He is mine, he has stolen my heart, along with Royce’s antics and Cap’s big heart.

You guys have no idea what is coming for you. The twists and turns, the revelations, the what the actual fuck moments.

Get ready to shout, get mad, feel sick, have your anxiety levels go through the roof and laugh your ass off (at Royce)

Mind blown!!

'TROUBLE AT BRAYSHAW' is the second book in Meagan Brandy's 'Brayshaw' series. It picks up where the previous book left off.

With how it all ended in the previous book I was beyond desperate to see what went down!! I couldn't wait to get my hands on it, seeing it land on my kindle even though I tried to prolong that excitement I caved like the others before me and dived in.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

All we knew at that point was Trouble was coming!?! And whoa did it ever!! More trouble lands in these boys laps than they know what to do with!!
Sh#t got real. Nothing can prepare you for the clusterf#ck that goes down!!

One word that was screamed throughout was #Maddoc!! This guy right here is what all us bookwhores chase/want/crave/lust over in our books! This guy hit me in the feels... Go on, play your games baby. I've got more moves than you can handle. ... right from the get go with his possessive alpha antics. Sexy bossy bastard .. When he loves he drops all his barriers, he loves fully, he protects, he fights, he adores, he's set the bar very high for other #boybookfriends to follow. This bigman right here has claimed me!!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Think you loved the first book!?! This was wayyyyyyyy better!! More angst, more feels, more drama, more twists and turns, more swoony moments, more sighs, more lust, more heat..Just #More!!

These people piss Armoni and puke fucking prada

This series is going from strength to strength. And I for one can't get enough of it, I never want this series to end!

I inhaled this in record time, seconds, minutes, my outside world ceased to exist, I was locked within the confines of these pages, devouring them, loving them, never wanting to finish that last page.

"We weren’t ready for you, Raven Carver.
We weren’t fucking ready."

Well, let me tell you that I wasn’t ready either! Trouble at Brayshaw High completely blew my mind and I don’t know what to do with myself. I stayed up all night because I couldn’t put this book down, I was so engrossed with this story. Meagan Brandy didn’t write just the continuation for BOBH… She extended the plot so much that I was reading Trouble with my mouth agape. At every turn I’d find new surprises and mysteries and my emotions were flying all around the place. Luckily, I had something to hold onto in the form of Raven and the boys. Even though they were caught themselves in the whirlwind of situations that have jeopardized their special bond…

Yes, this book starts where the previous ended. But if you think that you have the slightest idea where this story goes, YOU’RE WRONG. The twists and turns in the storyline made me squirming in my seat and I was holding my breath all the time. There are so many unexpected plots that left me in a complete stupor! I’m still in a daze and the questions like ‘what?’, ‘how?’, ‘are you serious?’ are flowing in my head. Prepare yourself for the biggest shocker in your life!

I’m not just loving the characters of this book. I LIVE FOR THEM. Raven is the QUEEN. This chick is loyal to a fault, selfless, protective and so fierce! Her need to keep the boys safe has no bottom and there’s nothing she won’t do for them, even if it means sacrifice herself in the process. She’s still reckless and hot-headed, but we can see the change in her personality. Even if she doesn’t want it, she’s slowly learning how to love. And Maddoc… I love him with my whole heart! He’s such a possessive, super-protective alpha! But in this part we can also see his softer, more vulnerable side and this made him the WHOLE PACKAGE. I want to crawl in this book and claim him as mine!
Their relationship may have its ups and downs, but their bond is unbreakable. Without labels and named feelings I just know that they would DIE for each other. Their intimacy is incredibly passionate and intense! Just reading these scenes made me all hot and bothered…

Royce and Captain are also amazing- Royce with his humor and playboy ways, and Cap with his maturity. But don’t let them fool you- poke them and they’ll wreck a havoc.

Trouble of Brayshaw High was one of my most anticipated reads this year and what Meagan Brandy gave me is beyond all my expectations! More action, more twists and turns, more steam, more of everything! TABH consumed my mind and soul. And I crave more!

1am aannd DONE. EEEKKKK! THIS BOOK! The last page has just been turned and I raced here to discuss ALL. Ok that is a lie. I WANT to tell ALL but you need to experience this book on your own. So mums the word on all the juicy details, DANG IT. Ugh sigh - deep breath. My mind is spinning and I... I can’t even. Eek this book turned me into a stuttering fool. I will try again. Sooo...

Raven, MY GIRL, is back with even more story to tell. OMG I LOVE her and all her contradictions. As more of this story unravels there are so many WTH moments. Rae is such a fighter, battling her need for self preservation with her love for her guy and his brothers. INTENSE. I did feel as the story progressed she starts coming into her own even more so than the first book. Yes life has beat her down and it is hard for her to trust but I am rooting for her.

The Guys... these boys have wormed their way into my heart. Maddoc and his steamy, naughty ways with Rae know how to heat up the page. Cap and Royce only increase their dedication to the girl that rules their world. They all can be ferocious when protecting Rae which is almost funny considering what a scrapper she is. These boys did provide several laugh out loud moments (clears throat) but it often involved something on the naughty side. Wink.

I warn you, pay close attention cause this author is brilliantly evil and intertwines clues that lead us to understand the mysteries of this story. I think I might have found some insight. Yikes. What will happen next? Who are the good guys? Who is friend, foe, or even family? What aren’t I being told? I need to know all the secrets.

This story is a roller coaster ride of emotions. Between that and the need for answers, well it fed my desire to read faster. Haha. Holy heck plan to weave in and out of high octane moments. This book is SO FLIPPING GOOD. The end has left me craving more. Did I mention, “I NEED TO KNOW ALL”. I know I did but I had to repeat myself. Happy Reading Everyone!

GAH!!! YOU GUYS!! Spring has arrived with a BANG and I am here for it!! Trouble at Brayshaw High (TABH) was AMAZINGGGG!! This story picked up right from that crazy cliffhanger from book one where we now see how far Raven would go to protect her man and her brothers. I loved this story so much as Meagan Brandy successfully wrote a follow-up story that had me on the edge of my seat where I did nothing but consume every tiny and delicious breadcrumb looking for more. This story was such a gripping masterpiece!

Without giving away any spoilers, TABH was such an exhilarating angsty adrenaline rush. Being back in the fold with Raven, Maddoc, Royce and Captain was absolutely fantastic. Good Lord my heart was in my throat half the time as the suspense, angst and shocking af bombs almost killed me. I loved that in this story, Brandy was able to allow us to see to the heart of not only Raven but also Maddoc as he dealt with the fallout and repercussions of Raven's actions. Being in his head was such a pivotal part of this story as it shed some light on his feelings and the mountains he would move in order to do to protect his girl and his family.

Overall, I  FLOVED this story as the secrets and lies slowly unraveled and the true reason and purpose of everything came to light. We were able to see to the heart of Raven Carver and her Brayshaw Boys and what it really meant to be a #BrayGirl. I am now left on pins and needles waiting for the third book in this phenomenal series! Bravo! 5 stars! ~Ratula

The second book in the Brayshaw series and more secrets have been revealed! Not only are we learning more secrets; but more are arising too! The cliffy at the end of this book has made me eager to dive right into the next instalment!

I will do a final review once the series is over... I would hate to give up any information that I’m not supposed to! It’s best I don’t say anything at this point!!

So far a wonderful series that I am enjoying very much!

Holy Shit! I have no words I’m absolutely speechless after this book! Meagan Brandy wrote a phenomenal book, that leaves you needing the next word more than air.

TABH if full of secrets, twist and turns, lies and betrayals. Every time you get one thing figured out she throws something else at you. I literally sat on the edge of my chair trying to read faster and slower at the same time. I needed to know but didn’t want the book to end.

Raven and Maddoc are more explosive than ever! And I’m not going to lie when the bombs went off I had to sit and can myself after because holy shit were they hot AF!

The betrayal of people the closest to you are the ones that hurt the most, and for the Brayshaw’s it’s. It diffident. For the person who betrays then they get a pissed of angry Maddoc who hold nothing back. And you think regular Maddoc is hot, angry Maddoc is on an entire different level.

And we just can’t seem to get rid of asshole Colins. He’s like the crazy ex you wish you never met. Crazier than you think and nothing you do seems to get the message across.

Ever word, ever sentence, ever page of this book leaves you need more. Every character no matter how big the role has an importance and adds a layer to the story. Ever scene no matter how big or small has a reason.

All the stars and so many more to Meagan Brandy and Trouble At Brayshaw!

BTW - why did nobody tell me I forgot to post my review?????? lol

ok here we go....

Let’s take a needed breath – because this book was INSANE!!!!

UNPUTDOWNABLE is one word. Raw and crazily good is also a way to describe it.

Trouble at Brayshaw High was everything I hoped it would be. It truly delivered. The plot was as OTT and jaw-dropping as anticipated. So many crazy and intense moments that had me sitting up straight – speechless and spellbound. Honestly this book gave me one heck of a ride.

All thanks to the QUEEN OF BRAYSHAW!!

Here is everything I LOVED and ADORED about this book:

Raven – wow that girl is one powerhouse. Strong willed, reckless, fearless, and ruthless – she hid her heart behind an impenetrable wall, daring anyone to see her vulnerable. She was one tough nut. Her willingness to do anything for the people in her makeshift “family”, not caring about consequences or costs to herself, made her incredibly endearing to me.

Maddoc – boy he was a dream guy. Rough around the edges, mysterious, untouchable, powerful and unreadable. He had all the traits of an amazing hero. A “bit” possessive, not afraid to stake his claim, a tiny bit Mad (that matched Raven’s Crazy to a T), and a whole lot of alpha. They were truly a match made in heaven and hell.

Together they were a real power couple – in an OTT dramatic kind of way. I loved how Raven was not afraid of putting Maddoc in his place, or to go head to head with him. She had no issues telling him NO when needed. Fortunately Maddoc learned pretty quickly how to handle her, including her tendency to push his buttons at every opportunity. Raven and Maddoc were combustible, in a good way. But also exactly what each needed in one another.

And WOW – they were SEXY!!!! I didn’t expect them to be so HOT! But Raven and Maddoc SIZZLED!!!!!

Royce and Cap – who couldn’t have been any better, or any more perfect to complete this amazing quartet of characters. This group took my heart by storm. “One for all, all for one” – that’s the most perfect way of describing their dynamic. Their love, their loyalty, their trust – they had it all, and I was blown away by it.

My thoughts:

The good and the ugly – honestly it was mostly GOOD!!!

This book kept me enthralled, but also breathless, with its raw and emotional plot. It was a kind of overloading experience. My heart and thoughts were filled to the brim until they threatened to burst. Frankly, my heart couldn’t take much more. Actually when I picked up the book, I was afraid of what was to come. I expected my heart to be crushed and bruised. In the end it was definitely overloaded, wrung out, and constantly beating overtime.

The twists kept coming. It did kinda leave me breathless, because there was just no break or time to breath between all the new plots, revelations, and surprises. I needed a break – which ironically I now have until the release of book 3.

So, all I can say is BRAVO!!!

***5 "Family runs deeper than blood -{Part II}!!!" stars***
--------------------------------------------

"You wanted a queen, you made one. One like nobody here has ever known. Just as strong as you, just as brave."

"I told you, child. I told you, you belong here. I need you to start believing it, you understand?...
It's hurting my boys when you don't."

Wow!!! Shits literally hit the fan in the second instalment of "Brayshaw" series!!!!
God, i love this story!!! I love how effortless the author is developing the story and believe me when i'm saying that it is a really messed up story!!! It took a big u-turn and literally, you don't know where it leads you in the final book!!!
Arrrr... I can not wait for the next book!!!! I need some freakin' answers and i want conclusion soooo badly!!!

"We weren’t ready for you, Raven Carver.
We weren’t fucking ready."

"I don't belong in this world of power princes and rising kings."

Well, at the end of the previous book, we saw Raven do something unimaginable in order to protect her boys!!!! But with that move, she hurt them so badly... All of them, but especially, my lovely Maddoc!!! She also hurt herself, but she was determined to do anything to protect those boys that give her their loyalty and love!!!!

“Raven Carver is mine. Whether she wants to be now or not. Period.”

“Go on, play your games, baby. I’ve got more moves than you can handle.”

Mmm... Honestly, i don't know what more to tell you, cause i don't want to spoil the story for those that they haven't read it yet and they are planning to...
But the things got really ugly and then, a little bit better... But damn, after they became even more ugly and shady!!!
The secrets, the lies, the agendas in here are too many and too big!!!!
Many people are getting involve in all the above and my mind was about to explond at some point!!!
I need answers, damn it!!!!
To be totally honest with you, a big secret in here, i have guessed in a way, but stil... i was in awe while i was hearing it!!!

“Maybe if my body bleeds, my heart won’t.”

“I almost became her for him, for you. Is that what love is? Venom in your veins driving you to throw out all morals and self-respect for the sake of someone else? Without hesitation, and little to no remorse?”

Well, I can't say more...
Maddoc and Raven were still exlosive together, and their bond was very intense and powerful!!!
Raven was still a tough chick and now, she was stronger than ever!!!! A real queen, indeed!!! But she was sooo stubborn!!!
Maddoc was sooo lost in the beginning and my heart was aching for him!!! He was still determined, possessive and protective of the ones who was loving and i loved him even more, if this is possible!!!
Well, i have really enjoyed the way that Maddoc was trying to affect Raven in the beginning and the possessiveness wasn't running only to his blood after all!!! Raven was soooo furious and reckless when she was jealous!!! Bahahaha...

"He likes my crazy, and I want his madness. It's pretty fucking simple."

“To love you would mean to let go of a part of me, the part that I worked damn hard to get–understanding and accepting I need no one to survive, knowing I can do this all on my own without a helping hand or dropping to my knees.”

"To need someone is weak, because what happens when they leave, and you fall flat on your face? I don't want to be weak, Big Man, not even for someone strong enough to carry us both."

"He and I, we're laced together with a tight needle and thread.
When I tear, it's him who bleeds."

Captain and Royce were always there with them and they were having their own issues and feelings!!! Royce 's hurt was showing a Royce that i didn't like very much... But he is hotheaded and i totally understand his pain!!!
Captain was always sweet and faithful!!! And very perspective... even though he had serious problems of his own!!!
Honestly, I can not wait for their books!!! I would love to see Victoria with maybe Cap???? Why not???

"Family runs deeper than blood, yet it’s the ones we chose we’ll so willingly bleed for."

"You're connected to us, and that's not something we'll ever be willing to let go of, Raven. Never. None of us. No matter fucking what."

Pfff.... Now for the rest of the people in here??? Honestly, i don't like many except these four!!!
Most of the characters are deceitful scumbags who can betray you before the blink of an eye...
But I really like Bass and Victoria!!! This girl seems real great, even though her bad attitude in the first book!!! She is just... real, i think!!!!
And now, I can not wait for the last book!!!! Hurry up, Meagan!!! Pleaaaaaase!!!

"So, you'll share your world, but not your mind?"
"My mind is dark, baby."
"And?"
"And you're afraid of the dark."

"He has no idea what she means to us, no fucking clue what we'll do to protect what's ours.
And Raven. Is. Ours."

I liked this one a tab bit more than the previous book even though the OTT was still through the roof. Rae started to annoy me a bit though... I think the whole hero complex she's got going is getting on my nerves.

I also find it very very hard to believe that 17 / 18-year-olds would ever behave this way. The reason for that is me having a 17,5-year-old son and this is fucking with my ability to suspend my disbelief a bit... In my mind, these kids aren't really kids but young adults... they read like they are at least 20..

That said, I am still very much enjoying the storyline, more so than before. So I am definitely finishing this series and anything else that may be published in the future... Like Cap's book, I really want to read his book, please!!!

WHAT IS HAPPENING! OMG this book (and series) is taking me through the ringer! I knew there were going to be secrets, lies, and betrayals but I didn't realize just how MUCH it was going to affect me! Damn, Meagan! You have written an ANGST fest here... And quite frankly? I LOVE IT! Trouble at Brayshaw High is the second book in the Brayshaw series and MUST be read in order. Make sure to read Boys of Brayshaw High PRIOR to this one. If you are a fan of young adult/ new adult romances with dark elements then this is a MUST read for you. It's actually one of my FAVORITE series of all time so I HIGHLY recommend it!

In this installment, Rave, Maddoc, Royce, and Captain are back! Only this time, we learn a little bit more about them, their family ties, and what they will do for the one they love. The cliffhanger from book 1 is explained (thank GOD) and makes sense in terms of the overall plot twist (which is crazy and twisted!). Readers will still be left with unanswered questions as this one will be continued into the next book, but is satisfying enough that you can fully enjoy this story! The title of the book is also very fitting for this one. There IS trouble at Brayshaw... And you are in for the ride of your life!

I won't be getting into plot details as this book (and series) must be read to fully understand everything going on, but I will say this is an AWESOME addition to the series and is a MUST read! I devoured this book in 24 hours even though I had so much adulting to do. I just couldn't stop reading. Every second I had some free time I picked this book up and continued where I left off. It's THAT good. <3

Awesome ride

So much happens in this book and it is so good. It begins with Raven running away from the guys when she finds out that Collins has a steamy video of her and all three boys the one time they were together. Even though they didn’t do the deed, she knows the video could look bad for the guys, especially Cap who is trying to get custody of his daughter Zoey.

She returns after a few hours but is being blackmailed by Collins and eventually does betray the Brayshaw boys, though I won’t give away spoilers on how. So many other things happen in this book, it is one huge surprise after another. I am loving all of the intrigue and family drama as well as how everything is tying together. This book also ends in a cliffhanger so I can’t wait for the next book.

TABH has been one of my most anticipated novels this Spring. I fell in love with Raven and these bad boys of Brayshaw in BOBH and never looked back. I didn't think I could love them harder....but I was wrong! M Brandy has done it again - she completely reeled me in from the first page, and I held my breath the rest of the way. This book is everything - lust, passion, betrayal, power plays, family drama, and twists and turns every other page. Get your detective glasses on and grab a notepad because you don't want to miss anything!

Raven Carver is a force to be reckoned with. She is a queen. She has proven her strength and determination and gained respect and loyalty of those around her she doesn't even realize are there. This girl is my idol. Her independence and self-sacrifice in this book may bring you to tears at times, and have you standing up and cheering for her in the next moment. Her character development is jaw-dropping. Although she is still the feisty and reactionary girl she was before - she proceeds with more caution this time around. She is smart and calulating, and every move she makes has a purpose.

These boys...oh where do I start?!?! Maddoc - Big Man....I sighed and swooned over this guy like no other. He is a powerhouse - he is bigger than LIFE in this book and no one, NO ONE is going to get in his way of what he wants, and that's his girl. His passion for Raven is everything. It is raw and real, and his possessive nature kicked up a notch every time they were together. He has a fight in him that is unique to his character - he's fearless, confident, dominating, yet knows just when to give Raven the little bit of slack she needs on their tethered rope.

Royce & Raven's relationship took up right where they left off. Royce is the "little boy" of the group who still hides behind his humor and sexual innuendos but deep down just wants love and attention. As hard as Raven is - she is the perfect sidekick for Royce. She calls him on his BS, yet is a gentle hand and calming force with him when needed. I absolutely love these two when they have their moments together!

If I could choose one of these boys to have for myself, it would be Captain. This guy is not only charming and compassionate, but he's level-headed, stoic and the takes on the responsible role of the three of them. He's a care-taker - making breakfast and driving them everywhere, yet he will throw down at the drop of a hat when those closest to him need him. I wanted to jump right into the pages of the book and into his arms when he busts out his brass knuckles and baseball bat. Sigh....this guy is sexy, smart, and a badass! Slam Dunk! He can throw me over his shoulders any day of the week!

This book is so much more than a young adult romance between Raven and Maddoc. These characters have pulled me into their chaos and I never want to let go - I feel like I am right there at their parties, in their houses, watching them play basketball (dear LORD!) and can FEEL their passion and emotions. You don't just read this book - you live and breathe every page of it. You will have some questions answered, yet more will pop up as their story continues. Villains appear and surprising alliances are formed/rebuilt. These boys and Raven are woven deep into my mind, heart and soul and I just want MORE of them!!! I can't wait for their story to continue. Well done once again M Brandy!

Five absolutely deserved stars for Raven, Maddoc, Royce and Captain ❤❤❤!!!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

If I could, I've given this book more than five stars 😭!

But, I can't, so I do something else and that is this review.

Until the last year, I didn't prefer to read young adult books and I didn't read them (only a few).

But, in this time last year, I've started reading books at the English language and the first book I've read was young adult genre. After that, I've continued reading this genre and I didn't regret.

I'm so glad that I decided to change my mind because if I didn't I'll never read so many great books.

I would NEVER read this book, this series.

And that would be such a shame.

Because this book took my soul and my heart at the same time as I was started reading it.

I found out about this series a few months ago but I didn't have to read it. But, after I heard that the third book coming soon I knew that is high time to start with this series.

I loved "Boys of Brayshaw High".

I really did.

But, that is just a small piece of the great storyline.

Only introduction.

As you know the first book end up with cliffhanger which is the reason why I've started reading "Trouble at Brayshaw High" the same day.

The title says "trouble".

Yeah, this book has a lot of things and one of them is the trouble.

After I've read the first book, I had some suspicion of what could happen in the second book but I didn't expect anything of what was really happened.

This book has so many secrets and they just popped up when I least expected.

And that is the reason why I've read a book in less than two days. Once I started, I couldn't put the book down.

I was so curious.

The book ended up with cliffhanger (sorry for a spoiler) and now I just want to read the next book "Regin at Brayshaw High".

Except for a great storyline, the main characters got me at first and I really don't whose of them I love more.

I will just say I love them equally and unconditionally.

These book doesn't show only hate to love relationship between Raven and Maddoc. It shows the unconditional loyalty between people of one family and brothers.

Maybe Raven was scared to show her real emotions to three boys but her non-stop sacrifice for them means more than words.

And from the other side, boys are the perfect picture of bad boys but they so much more than that and their protective attitude for Raven showed that.

Because of these books, Meagan Brandy became one of my favorite authors and I can't wait to read more of her books and especially "Reign of Brayshaw".

Her writing style is everything!

If you're looking with the young adult book that will keep you awake all night, these two books are definitely for you!

Highly recommended!!!

P. S. Expect unexpected.

This book started pretty great but then in my opinion it got boring.

Raven is still a badass and she’s the only reason why I continue to read this series.

Give me book 3!!!!!!!

I think the title says it all.
Trouble at Brayshaw High was filled with insane, intense madness that was soooo flippin' good!
The chaos and drama were so addictive ya'll.
The angst and sizzling chemistry was drool worthy.
The plot twist felt me speechless.

I loved Raven and Maddoc in the first book but this book just took it to a whole new level.

I love this series so much and I can't wait to read book 3 of the Brayshaw High series.

4-stars

Trouble at Brayshaw High is Book 2 in the Brayshaw High series. It’s filled with secrets, surprises, lust, and plenty of angst!! Whatever you are expecting out of this book, be prepared to be completely thrown for a loop.. and when you think that loop has ended.. well, YOU’RE WRONG.

Maddoc, Royce, and Cap continue to be some of my FAVORITE book boyfriends. (Yes, I said MY). I love them all. Royce shows more of his soft side in book 2. I loved him in the first book but I REALLY am starting to see this new softer side. I wasn’t quiet sure what to think of Cap in the first book. But he has grown on me and I love his silent conversations he has with his brothers and Raven. Maddoc. That’s all that needs to be said. That man is a MAN. He may have just turned 18, but I’ve been in love with him from the beginning.

Raven... Ohhh, Raven. She is and will continue to be my FAVORITE heroine. Ever. She is so fierce. She’s a fire-cracker. I love how she bows down to NO ONE. Man. Woman. Doesn’t matter. She stares the lion right in the eyes with her middle finger in the air. I love her to my core.

Meagan is and will continue to be one of top favorite authors. The passion that she puts behind her characters proves that she puts her all into her books. Trouble at Brayshaw High throws you all over the place. You think you know what is going to happen and when something goes down, it leaves you speechless. That’s me right now after finishing this book.. SPEECHLESS.

I was captivated by every word, every chapter, every scene of this book. Now that I’ve finished it, I don’t know how I can possibly wait for book 3!! This book deserves all the stars and more!!

4.5 ✰

Book 2 in the series and that freaking reveal and cliffhanger at the end…EXCUSE ME!! Sprinting to book 3!!

The plot thickens even further and a lot of unraveling happened in this one as well. Got a lot of explanations to questions from book 1, but I am still left with even more asdfjk!!!!

Raven and Maddoc are sizzling hot as ever…sheeesh🥵, and their relationship keeps strengthening; I love seeing them both get more vulnerable with each other (though it has been way more difficult for Raven than Maddoc given her upbringing), and he’s still the most possessive alphahole over her and I LOVE it. 🤭🦋

I just love these 3 boys—Royce is still such a goofball but will fck shit up if he needs to and his bond with Raven always has me giggling, he cares for her and loves her sm!!🥺 Same with Captain, who is still the reserved nurturer and I love how Raven knows what he needs emotionally and can read him so well. When she comforts him he instantly feels relief and it’s the most precious thing. These boys have become her family and they will do anything and everything to keep and protect her as will she for them.

Can’t wait to see how book 3 unfolds!!😫

yes, yes, yaaaasssss

we are ALL waiting for this one...dammit!

oh well, now that the waiting is finally over...now that i have read it, all I can say is how I freaking LOVE Maddoc and Raven (sure, Royce and Captain are right there with them, but I reserve the right to be picky *wink*)...

there was so much of boosting action and turmoil and hide and seek, and push and pull ending it all with such a twisty angsty ambush that really left me with a lot of questions...

and I don't like that LOL, not when I need to wait again for the 3rd book to see what will happen...jeeez

hmmm, and inspite of the fact that the Raven's actions could be understandable from one point, there was an angle that was left uncovered and well, unresolved, as I saw it...thus making me finding the loopholes in the plot...but that's just my perky, frisky me LOL and I'm sure that none of you will actually be spoiled like that pffft LOL, and I assure you, you WILL enjoy in Maddoc and Raven's interactions...

come to think of it, they do remind me of Mason and Samantha just a tiny little bit *wink* but than again, I'm bloody partial here, cause well, i always seek a little bit of Mason and Samantha /Fallen Crest High series/ in other characters playing their roles in these kind of thropes...for me, that is inevitable... *smirks*

3.5 ⭐'s

"Just another day in the life of rich and crazy, twisted bullshit."

Ehhhh... Wish I could say that I liked this book more than I did. I did like getting some answers but I felt the book, and in particular, Raven suffered from becoming a "Mary Sue".

Raven just kept one upping everyone and as the story progressed, she just became this all powerful and could do no wrong type of character...which is a shame.

Maddoc on the other hand became this little chihuahua that happily trailed after Raven and did everything she wanted. AND...that includes the same for Captain and Royce. WTH??

As far as the twist(s) goes, saw that coming a mile away. ~Sigh~

However, I did enjoy all the angst and the ending has kept me interested. I'm looking forward to seeing what else can be pulled into the story! (Book 3, Reign of Brayshaw, has no release date other than 2019 at this time.)

4 Stars!!
🌟🌟🌟🌟

She’s venom in the water. Not the snake itself, but the fatal liquid that floats across the top. No matter where you step, if even twenty feet away, she’s finding her way inside.

OOOF- This book packs a punch!

Rae Rae is still out here, trying to control everything and making moves and making excuses without telling anyone. She gets herself in a bind quite a few times. I think this whole book she is trying so hard to let love in, but not having any clue what that really feels like she does stupid stuff. By the end of the book I feel she gets closer to making that jump head first into this Bray Boy life though.

Maddoc was amazing in this book !! No more PUNK- and all HUNK. He has completely fallen for Rae- and nothing else matters. You can feel that through the pages almost to the point where you are like OMG OK - we get it SHE IS YOURS... it gets a little repetitive and you eye roll and just move on because its Mad Dog and you just love him.

Overall this book was heavy and full of information. I think it had a little bit of Middle book syndrome. I loved book 1 all the "cant put this down" and "on the edge of my seat" feels it gave me. Not to mention the drama fest and all the tea just dripping from the pages,

I mean it was saturated... with filthy guilty pleasure.

Book 2 though, it had a ton of twists and turns and almost an overwhelming amount. I got confused a few times but in the end, I think I manged to fully grasp what happened. There were just some things that happened and I was just like WHY DID THAT NEED TO TAKE PLACE. So of course I am over here on pins and needles, needing book 3 like yesterday so I can figure this out!! Still highly recommend this series if you are looking for a guilty pleasure read because, honestly its FULL of it! XoXo

GAH! I wish I could give this book ALL. OF. THE. STARS! I loved it SO HARD! It was intense, gripping and absolutely AMAZING! I didn't think it was possible, but this story was even better than the first. It was angsty and suspenseful with twists and turns around every corner. It will sink its claws into you, hooking you from the very first page.

Trouble at Brayshaw High picks up right where the first one left off, with Raven showing us that she'll go to any lengths to protect Maddoc, Royce and Captain. She has matured and grown so much since the last time that we saw her. She has learned to trust and to love, and she's completely loyal to her boys.

Raven and Maddoc are everything. I absolutely love them together. They love each other so fiercely, and their chemistry is sizzling hot. They steam up with pages with their passionate intimate moments. They are one of my all-time favorite couples, and the perfect king and queen to reign in their world.

Trouble at Brayshaw High is a fantastic read that more than checked all the marks for me! It was masterfully crafted with a perfectly executed plot and wonderful characters that you can't help but to fall in love with. It is such a compelling read, destined to be one of your favorites. I can tell you, without a doubt, it's definitely one of mine. So please do yourself a favor and one-click when this goes live. It's a brilliant work of art, and one that you will not want to miss.
