As I enjoyed the start but I also got very bored, very fast. Also a full page of talk where you don’t specify who said what gets very confusing. I know it was only two people talking but I still lost track of who said what. This story has so much possibility but, at least for me, it’s like there’s a whole middle of the story that’s missing....

Honestly i would have enjoyed this more if we were told what Tilly was running from at the start of the story. The hints were nice but they also made you wonder if Tilly wasn’t actually behind the companies problem and that’s why she ran. I also wasn’t very fond of the formatting for the chapters as it felt more, college required writing assignment done to meet the minimum requirements and not actually with the story flow in mind.

I actually liked the characters from the start and I could very much relate to ‘bonding over books’. If this author goes back over this book and puts just a bit more time into it I think this book would very much be worth reading but as it is, I have to say it’s readers choice...

Tilly and Eva make a good pair, and their romance is sweet, but also hot at times. Both have hurt they are trying to get over, and both feel the need to prove themselves. But also fear failure and judgement, and stepping outside of comfort zones. But they encourage and challenge eachother in the best ways, and so it was a nice Kindle Unlimited read that was only about 2 hours. Casual to read.

However the typical romance formula is definitely in full effect here. I did wish for more depth.
