Gun Brooke is a mother of two, now grown up, and grandmother of six. This keeps her young as she needs o stay current with these kids. Gun still finds time to write a new book every year. Sometimes two!

Gun loves romance and science fiction. She always injects romance in her sci-fi as all her stories are character-driven. That said, naturally, her sci-fi holds tons of adventure.

Apart from writing, Gun enjoys arts and crafts, her dogs, anything to do with computers.

It is not a secret that Gun suffers from Multiple Sclerosis, for many years. This ended her career as a nurse, but she eventually found the insight that even when things appear somber, you can find a new path, if you just dare to look. And then grab the tiger by the tail and dare to dream.

Gun Brooke is one of my favorite romance novelist. Her character driven stories are the best. From the first page she captures the reader's interest. You truly care for these two characters. A great read for those looking for a little romance in their reading.

Its a very cute, entertaining book but everything seems to happen in like warp speed... Would've loved if the author developed & expounded on the characters & built up the narrative more. Though not achieving all I feel it could've been, this still was an enjoyable read.

I liked the book quiet a lot. The first couple of pages grab you quickly. The characters were likable although toward the end it seemed like it wrapped up a little to quickly and neat. It reminded me of a lot of TV shows where they cram an ending into the last 5 minutes that doesn't do it justice after the 55 minute build up. Worth the price. I will definately buy some of the authors other books.

Terrific story line and main characters. Would really like to read more about the family dynamics and the "racing" culture. Gun is such a good writer I would love for her to develop this story or something similar into a full novel. These novellas seem so short Nd

Gun Brooke really knows how to tell a story. It made me want to keep turning the pages to find out what happened next. I love books that do that. Don't you?
