Can this iron hold an accurate high temp for a long time?

Very happy with it.  Just what I was looking for to use on the little jobs around the house.

feels good quality but nothing really special.  The LEDs are always on, they're helpful if you don't have a desk lamp. 
however,  I would go for a cheaper option if you are fixing basic stuff.

I bought this iron to solder half dozen capacitors on a power board. It worked fine for 3 capacitors then it just would not heat up again. Not recommended. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
