MAFIA CASANOVA

Trust.
Loyalty.
Family.
The tangled web of mafia life.
We grew up together. Me, Eden, my brother Tristian.
He was always the safe bet, the sure thing, the good guy.
And me? Well, I was the Casanova, the killer who flirted with anyone and anything, breaking Eden’s heart again and again.

We both loved her.
Mind.
Body.
Soul.
Until I gifted her to my brother as if she meant nothing, when she meant everything to me.
Tristian was safer.
Better.
Could give her the life I never would be able to.

But things changed.
We changed.

My only goal was to protect her, making her hate me in return. Except once my brother wasn’t standing between us anymore, I decided…

It was my turn to claim what had always been MINE to begin with.

FALLING FOR THE VILLAIN
“Play for me, Juliet…”

Those four words whispered in my ear again and again until I craved what I used to fear.
Such a simple demand from my captor—the man who stole me and refused to tell me why he wouldn’t let me go.

I was his.

He made me need him, just as much as he needed me.
I broke all the rules of the golden prison he put me in.

During the day he ruled his dark, seedy world.
His subjects and me.

During the night—he bowed before my feet.

Have you ever wondered what happened to the villains in all the fairy tales you read?
You’ll soon find out.

It all started when he kidnapped me and made me his pet.
And it all ended with me…

Calling him master.

Dark and Wonderful BDSM

Yeah this is a wonderfully dark Romance with non-con and dub-con and kidnapping with a HEA at the end. There is a lot of Master/slave stuff and there is a lot of 🔥 too. If you like Dark Romance you will most likely like this book a lot.

Falling For The Villain
4 Stars

I wish I actually had the correct words to do this book justice. Actually, even if I had the correct words, I probably couldn’t use them without being a spoil sport. So please bare with me, as I try to navigate this review.

I can honestly say without a doubt that I have NEVER read a book even remotely close to this one. Let me be the first to say, I’ve read dark books before, and now that I’ve read this one? It’s actually laughable thinking I knew what a dark book was. Shooo weee, Falling For The Villain is without a doubt the definition of a dark book. So take that warning for what it is.

In all honesty, after reading the first couple chapters I didn’t know if I could do it, but I am so glad I pushed through. This duo of authors took me to a place I never even imagined. I was intrigued. I was scared, but mostly I was curious. Robinson and Van Dyken’s great world building opened my eyes to the curiosity and change. They crafted a well developed story that was perfectly plotted out with dialogue that even had me submissive. I quickly learned that there is a fine line between love and hate, and I loved to hate Donovan.

Falling For The Villain is not an easy book in any sense of the word, but it is a book that will not be forgotten. It was such a nice change of pace. I actually really enjoyed it. I even put my own stamp of recommending it as well.

Mafia Casanova
4 Stars

I have a serious obsession with M.Robinson, so when I found out she was collabing with very known author to say I was stoked, was putting it mildly. I am very well versed when it comes to the queen of angst but to be frank, I have never read anything by Van Dyken and I am quite ashamed because she is so well known in the Romance world and not only that, they both collabed so wonderfully together that I couldn’t tell who wrote what. It was almost like they are one in the same. Now that is something I thought I would never see and now that I have, I am gonna go all grabby hands on ALL of Van Dyken's published books. With that said, I shall continue onto the greatness of all that Mafia Casanova entails.

Mafia Casanova is one heck of a complex book. From the storyline to the characters, it was almost like hitting a brick wall over and over. I'm not kidding when I say, if this would have been any other author besides Robinson I would have put this book down within the first two chapters and not picked it back up for one reason and one reason only, and no I am not going to disclose what that is because umm... hello spoiler! I knew I had to push through because I knew with Robinson's words included she would help me wrap my mind around it, and she did. It was not easy, but I can say I do understand it now.

While I am at it, as I previously mentioned, Robinson and Van Dyken collabed so well together, I couldn't tell you who wrote what. That in itself takes mad skill. The writing in general was sensational, and everything developed and flowed in a timely manner. I was also a fan of how this duo of authors wove the past into the storyline as well. I could feel the emotions from the past, and I seen the how and the why and how it affected the present, if that makes sense?. I guess that plays into the depth of Mafia Casanova and since we are talking about the depth I am going for straight honesty. Robinson and Van Dyken carved my heart out and left me wide open on many occasions. Man, I felt this book from all POVs. It was like it grabbed me around the neck like a noose and left me gasping for air. Let me not forget the suspense. Holy moly! I was on the edge of my seat so nervous because I did NOT know how Mafia Casanova was going to play out.

Romeo god Romeo. I wanted to warp my hands around his neck and strangle the life out of him. He is an alpha - a hole that grew on me BIG time. His reasoning was not always right, but he went with it anyways knowing what the outcome would be. Overall, this was a wonderful book and I look forward to this duo of authors collabing together in the future.

Sinacore Crime Family is a collection of two books co written by authors M. Robinson and Rachel Van Dyken. The stories are Mafia Casanova and Falling For the Villain. If you love a good mafia romance then look no further as these books are for you.
Mafia Casanova is a bit of a love triangle and gives us Eden and Romeo and Tristan Sinacore. These three grew up together and while Eden has always loved the two brothers, her heart truly belonged to Romeo. While Tristan is the family's account, the good boy who never gets his hands dirty, Romeo is the dark horse, the enforcer for the family, and every life he takes chips away a little more of his soul. It's because of that he must let his love for Eden go for he believes he is no good and doesn't deserve her. Instead choosing to walk away so she can marry his brother. When tragedy strikes, these two are brought back together. Will Romeo walk away from Eden a second time?

Falling For the Villain by is one dark romance read with a very dominant alpha who is borderline obsessive and a pure, untainted innocent girl who has had her whole life upended only to end up happier than what she previously was. This is most definitely one of the darkest books I've read by these two authors and I'm curious to see if they'll continue down this path of dark dominance when they co-write future books. The level of steam in this book is hot enough to break through the mercury. Yes there were a lot of triggering factors in this story but that didn't phase me as it only made the story all the more enticing.
I think these two characters were great. Donovan was perfect with all his dark, twisted and troubled past. Yes, his past actions shaped him to become the man he was and even through all that darkness, he was able to find his light in Juliet.
Juliet is the daughter of the highly renowned mafia Sinacore family. She's been shielded most of her life thanks to the dangerous nature of her family's business. She's always escaped reality through the piano and when she gets kidnapped, beaten and broken, a dormant piece of her soul comes to life where she falls for her captor. Is it stockholme syndrome or something more?
This story is very dom/sub themed. It's dark, twisted and triggering but it also shows that love comes in different forms. I think M. Robinson and Rachel Van Dyken make great co-writers and can't wait to see what other darkness their creative minds will bring us next.

Mafia Casanova is a standalone novel by Rachel Van Dyken and M. Robinson. I have read many of RVD’s mafia books and others but this is my read by M. Robinson. It will definitely not be my last. Nope. Loved it! They did a badass job writing this together. You might have briefly met Romeo Sinacore in their last books but now, it’s all him and damn...I fell hard.

Romeo used his body to gain secrets. Men felt his fists while women felt his...well, you know. It was his curse and his weapon. He knew how to make women fall. They all loved him until he slit their throats. He didn’t feel anything for those women. He only cared for one woman and she wasn’t his. He didn’t deserve her love. She was too good for him. She needed to be safe. She deserved someone who didn’t come home with blood on his hands.

Eden made her mistakes. She made her choice. She grew up in this world. She knew things changed in a heart beat. He was here. Romeo. She hated him yet she knew he wouldn’t let her fall. He would protect her, she knew that but then what? He left once, he would again. Romeo always walked away. What if this time he couldn’t?

Omfg!! I was hooked from the first page till the very last sentence. Romeo *swoon* and holy ruthless and hotness. Eden is a badass full of sass, smarts, and beauty. She isn’t your typical mafia princess. She is the daughter of the head of security. She grew up in this world but wasn’t fully emerged into the world. Just right there touching it, feeling it, and knowing it. She accepted it. Hated it. Loved it. It was just her life. It was all she knew. Now, it was on her doorstep. The danger. The darkness. Him. It was all coming to a head. Will she survive it? This book is full of suspense, family, loyalty, love, and mafia! I can’t wait for the next book...that title. I. Need. It.

Quotes:

I’d been a bystander to my own death and destruction, and the pain was still burning alive inside me, threatening to spill over into a war of chaos where my white flag was up.

“We can’t all be saints, can we Romeo?” Andrei grinned over at Romeo. “Especially when it’s so much fun sinning.”

“You know I hate seeing you cry. Don’t waste your tears on me.”

Robinson that you will not be able to put down. Go one click this set today and fall in love with Romeo and Eden in the Mafia Casanova along with Donovan and Juliet in Falling for the Villian.

Mafia Casanova
Mafia Casanova is a hang onto your seats and enjoy the ride read. You will just love what the team of Rachel Van Dyken and M Robinson bring to the pages. I couldn't get enough of the angst love that is Romeo and Eden. Romeo does what he needs to do for the family. Eden you get this feeling that she is just stuck between two brothers and thinks she made the safer choice within the family. Her heart can't let go and the feels are just amazing. Romeo knows what is expected even when his heart wants something he can't have. There is such chemistry and passion between Eden and Romeo that you will just love that will grab you and won't let go. This is one mafia read you will not be able to put down. I couldn't get enough of this one. You need to experience this one for yourself. Go one click it now!!

Falling for the Villian
Falling for the Villain is beyond fantastic. This is a darker read then Mafia Casanova and can be read as a standalone. I love love love what the duo of Rachel Van Dyken and M. Robinson give us in the form of Donovan and Juliet. Donovan may be my favorite villain and it was so hard not to fall for him. I loved the darkness that Donovan brings to the lightness Juliet brings. As master and pet you feel the push and pull of Donovan and Juliet. Juliet is strong, a little stubborn and more. She needs Donovan just as much as Donovan needs her. Of course Donovan is more then meets the eye too. I love this one so much. When you read this be prepared to be glued to the pages and be sucked into the world of Donovan and Juliet. I know I fell hard for them and could not put this down. I want to say so much more but I'm afraid I'll give anything away. So all I'm going to do is shout....YOU NEED TO READ THIS.

Mafia Casanova 4.5 stars I was very excited when I heard that there was going to be a co-write by RVD and M. Robinson. I am a huge fan of RVD’s mafia series and just diving into M. Robinson’s books. This book did not disappoint. This is a kind of love triangle book— 2 brothers are in love with the the same girl. The three of them grew up together and were best friends. Romeo and Eden always had a special connection, but Romeo didn’t think he was the good choice for Eden, so he pushes her away to his brother, Tristen. This act was the catalyst of things to come. This book pulls you in from the Prologue and you won’t want to put it down as we get to go back and forth from present day to 6 years ago and learn what has happened in between. There are definitely twists and turns that make you want to slap Romeo and ask what he is thinking but rooting for him and Eden in the end. I also loved Naz and non-stop talking. For fans of RVD’s EE series, we get some cameos’s from her characters which was also exciting for me. (I need to read M. Robinson’s mafia as I’m sure there are probably cameo’s of her characters too) The writing was also seamless not knowing which author wrote which part. This is a fantastic book and can’t wait to see what these two come up with in the future.

Falling for the Villain 3.5 stars. This is a very different book than you have read by RVD (and I think my M. Robinson too, although I’m still new to her books). This is a dark romance with BDSM and other similar type themes. I have read other books that contained BDSM themes, but this one was at the edge of my comfort zone. I enjoyed the overall story and it had the classic storyline twist that you don’t really see coming that I have come to expect and love by RVD. Definitely worth reading if you enjoy a dark romance and/or can focus on the overall story.

Mafia Casanova
I thought I was prepared for Romeo Sinacore, and Eden De Rossi’s story ..... but I wasn’t .

The characters go through so much heartache and pain because of Romeo’s choices , but he makes those choices because he is trying to protect his family , & the only woman he will ever love .

As I was reading I was saying in my head “ no, no , no Romeo, don’t say that , don’t do that , you’re breaking her heart “ , but I was still think , “ wow , this is a friggin amazing storyline “ .

Romeo is cold , and calculated, and may appear that he has no heart , but he will fight to the death to protect those he cares about . Family is everything, but loyalty trumps that .

This is such an amazing read , loved it

Falling for the Villain

So deliciously dark .
This story isn't about a hero, no, it's about an anti-hero. He is like a monster from your nightmares . His past and present are unforgivable. His name is Donovan, but to her , he is known as .... Master.

Juliet was a mafia princess, but all of that has been stripped away from her by the man she has to call , Master.
Taken away from her family , humiliated ,& punished by her Master until she breaks .
She is now just ..... Pet.

By the end, this vulnerable, once broken princess, turns into a strong Queen, who's Master will gladly worship for all time .

This is not a fluffy story, it is dark , there is no hero , just a man shaped by his past to do unthinkable things .

This is such a great read

Having the two mafia worlds of Rachel Van Dyken and M.Robinson collide into one is like having a mindblowing book-gasm that’s leaving you screaming for more because you are addicted from the very beginning. Holy shit, this was mafia romance at a new level.
Two author geniuses who plotted together an angsty, steamy, sexy just soooooo good story of love, hate, trust, betrayal and everything in between you could have asked for.
5 stars for this great collaboration. I really can’t wait for the next one. Such a great job, Ladies!!!
Get some wine (or a lot) and start the ride. Blood in. No out!

FALLIN FOR THE VILLAIN
The second book collaboration from Rachel and Monica is definitely one of the most intense books I ever read!!!
Falling For The Villain is an emotional ride that drags you out of your comfort zone and keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time.
This is a love story that goes deep into the darkest corner of your soul.
I loved this book from beginning to end, even if it was a complete new experience that I not only once kept second guessing ... but in the end it was so worth it.
Fair warning though, this is not an every day love story and if you feel more comfortable on the lighter side this is maybe not your go-to book. For everyone else, I dare you to take the ride and let this emotional rollercoaster bring you into a state of total surrender!!!
Well done, Ladies, well done!!!

Mafia Casanova
Robinson and Van Dyken delivered a story filled with deep, dark secrets.

Romeo Sinacore left no doubt that he could deliver in the bedroom and the work arena. He took no prisoners and shattered hearts and lives. But the one heart he regretted ever breaking belonged to the woman who reigned supreme, Eden.  Their push and pull, absolutely explosive. Their story, devastating.  Their love, forbidding.

A look into the dark corners of the mafia life, the women that rule the hearts of their men, and the men that will protect at any costs.

Falling For The Villain
Robinson and Van Dyken delivered a dark and unexpected story.

Dark and dangerous, no, black and lethal. An innocent about to succumb to another world. This is the story of Donovan and Juliet. Donovan has no remorse and no redemption. Juliet is the model of innocence.  They are a push and pull. He tries to ignore the solace of her touch and she denies his dominance, the thing she craves. Hunter and prey exchange power.

This story is not for the faint of heart. Nightmare or fantasy…or one in the same.

Loved this writing and story duo.

The duo of Rachel VanDyken and M. Robison gave us a mafia book for the ages. The story of Romeo shows he is ruthless bastard and he incredible at doing what he does for the Sinacore Family. He has always loved Eden but knew he wasn't what was best for her, so he pushed her into his brothers arms. But rarely is life that easy!
Could not put this book down - read it one setting. Deserves more than 5 stars

I love mafia books!!!

This duet was everything I figured it would be … m. Robinson and Rachel van Dyken make a perfect team… this had just the right amount of dark and gore ( those are the best part) Romeo and Eden were hot together… the love they shared even when they weren’t together is the way love should be… and then there is Donovan and Juliet we that was a very twisted relationship to say the least… I couldn’t put this book down lol I highly recommend it!!! Great job ladies!! Can’t wait to read the next collaboration!!!

Great read. The outline was also great. I really enjoyed this book. The story building flowed along well from start to finish. It was hard to keep track of the back and forth flashbacks during the relationship in the book. I had to reread a few times in order to determine the timestamp of what happened when. Otherwise, the authors connected the timeline great with the back and forth. Would recommend.

Can’t tell you how the word, pet, turns my stomach.

Talk about Stockholm syndrome. How is it something to crave where you have your body bleed and chunks of your body exposed and call it something you need to reach an orgasm and call it love. Not to mention Romeo who has sex with women and then slits their throats and calls it justice. These are not alphas. There is no redemption as far as I am concerned.

Offbeat

Not really fond of abuse to the extent used in second book nor the female's reponse. Total turnoff when female is so weak. First book was written about a killer who enjoyed killing women during sexual climax which was complicated. If woman deserved death why use her body first? Did not approve of Romeo and Eden having happy ever after. I need more action in mafia books between different factions. More angst between groups
with twists and turns to build suspense. Stories did not really hold my interest.

Almost gave up on this one but hung with it and glad I did. This book had it all, Mafia families and all that implies, heat and lots of it, bad guys that turn out not so bad and some that don't. Like it hot? This one should make you sweat. And yeah, I could go on but you will just have to read it. Lot of plots and subplots with surprises. 5 well earned stars!

Not a genre I usually enjoy, this book had all the feels, it was coauthored by M. Robinson after all. One could almost push the criminality to the background while the characters were front and center living their truths.
