Ah yes another book about the worst, most sexist, awful and straight out creepy guy from this universe: ✨Eli✨

I did not like him in his first book, I did not like him in his second book and guess what? I hated him in this one too (shocking I know)

Let's just start of with talking about his god awful personality:
1. A stubborn self centred asshole that could never apologise to his girlfriend but continues to stay mad at her because she does not want him back when he was the one to mess everything up
2. A sexist and possessive dumbass that tells his girlfriend to shut up and not to confront his guy best friend for using her best friend because it brings tension and drama to the friend group
3. A useless little boy that does not care that his guy friends talk about his ex girlfriend like an object because it is not his place t0 call out his guy friends for talking badly about women that did nothing because she is his ex and he is petty
4. A guy with double standards that does not use his brain to think about how he literally tries to make her see his way when he was the one that blocked her for doing the exact same thing.
5. A guy that for the second time, breaks into her bedroom, sits on her and when she tells him to get off, kisses her.

Now lets talk plot:

1. Ava moves to europe for 8 weeks and he is so petty that he tells her "If you go to europe, I know what is more important to you and that you do not love me" then he proceeds to block her.
2 when she comes back, her family for some fuckin reason understands him and thinks he isn't even that wrong???
3 he then proceeds to ask her (after they got back together for some fuckin reason), that they should take a break for 8 weeks until the football season ends because he can't concentrate on football after having sex with her.
4 he then gets absolutely mad when she says that this is a double standard because he just wants her to understand
5 then she gets pregnant. yup. you read that right

Prove that this couple should not be together, would never be together and have no chemistry because the only way for the author to make this godawful couple get together again is by forcing a pregnancy into the book.

6. he wants to be a dad and in her life and is happy she cannot go back to uni in a different state. He proposes to her. SHE FUCKING SAYS YES
7. she has a miscarriage. could there be any more drama going on here???
8 He is super sad that he won't be a dad and is scared that she will go back to college even though she is his.
9. she does not and they end up together...

your welcome.

”We don’t make sense when we’re apart, Ava.”

*this review MAY spoil the ending of The Junior, so if you haven’t read that yet I wouldn’t read this review!

Y’all. Monica Murphy WORE MY SOUL OUT with the emotional rollercoaster that is The Senior. This is Ava and Eli’s second/third chance (I don’t even know for sure) at love, and not only that it was also the finale to the College Years series. I honestly don’t want to spoil anything, so I’m going to keep it brief. We get Eli and Ava going through it. They are growing and changing and just dealing with their break up and trying to figure out if they truly truly belong together. My vote is yes, but I guess you’ll have to read and see 😅

Also Monica wraps up this series so well. We get all our favorite College Years couples, and some moments with the OG Callahan couples as well all throughout Ava and Eli’s story. It’s just a great read overall. So emotional. Like I really can’t say that enough I felt every single emotion from happy to mad to heartbroken while reading this book. Ok that’s all I’m saying. This series is a ride and must be read in order. So go… read them all now.

[NOTE: Ava and Eli’s story starts in The Callahan series with Addicted to Him and Meant to Be.]

*there is content in this one that some may find triggering. If you have triggers and do not mind spoilers (it will spoil a plot) then PLEASE feel free to DM I will give you the trigger without giving the full context!

I’m sad this is the final book of this series, but what a way to wrap it up….with Eli and Ava.
When I found out that Monica Murphy was going to return to one of my favorite couples for The Senior, I was excited and honestly, a bit nervous. What was she going to put my Eli and Ava through?
Let's just say that she puts them, and us, through the wringer. The drama, the angst, the misunderstanding, the stubbornness, the pain, the love. All. Of. It! And it is worth it!!

Eli and Ava have been together for 4 years. Since their high school days, but then the majority of their relationship has been spent in distance. First by being in two different rival high schools, next with Eli in college and Ava still in High school and finally with them at two different colleges, hours apart. But these two made it work over the years. And they continued to make it work until Eli gave Ava an ultimatum. Either him or her college trip to Spain. But Ava knew she had to do something for herself. And she chose Spain.

To see two characters that we've known and love through the years has been fun to experience. They've grown and changed and figured out what is important to them. Eli wears his emotions on his sleeve at the detriment to his relationship and football. But he's learning by his many mistakes. And Ava is still coming into her own. She is stubborn, just like her man, but she also knows what she wants. Will all of this be too much for either of them to accept? Are Ava and Eli growing apart??

Man, the ups and downs of these two was strenuous. But their love for one another was obvious. And their chemistry? My, how it’s grown up! I liked that Ms Murphy took the chance on this existing couple and made them work for it. It may have stressed me out, but I understood it. And having their crew around them, supporting them every step of the way?? Perfect. It was a great journey for every couple we've been introduced to in this series and a chance for us to get to see them all one last time. While I love Eli and Ava, I didn't want to see them fall out. I wasn't sure about this story. But Monica knew that these two needed more experience, to grow and to work and work and work for their love and their future. It wasn't easy and it came with some pain, but it was worth it. And the epilogue?? Just what we needed for us Callahan lovers.

I don’t even know where to begin with this book. I am absolutely blown away with these characters and especially this story. Throughout many books, Eli Bennett and Ava Callahan have captured the hearts of readers. Throwing us for a curve, this story has them broken up. Poor, sweet, damaged Eli feels that Ava puts him second in her life. When she gets an amazing opportunity, he breaks things off. The struggle between these two will have you up and down wondering if they will get back together. Never have two characters captured me the way that Eli and Ava have. This is such an amazing end to a very tumultuous relationship. It was everything that I expected and oh so much more.

I just finished proofreading this one and I am so overwhelmed with emotion! I have loved this series, these characters and this world so much that it’s hard to say goodbye yet it’s time for them all to move on from The College Years, and M Murphy wrapped up this series with a bright red bow on top!

I loved Eli Bennett and Ava in their high school years. But now - they are SO much more. They’re the same angsty, heated, hot couple but now are older, more mature, and know what they want. They’re both still stubborn as all heck but have learned when to bend and not break. Their chemistry is fire, and their loyalty to one another brought me to tears at times. They face tough life challenges head on and I cried tears of pain and joy for them. In the end - I wanted to stand up and give them a standing ovation for their determination and resilience!🙌🏻

Eli Bennett stole my heart in this book and his character growth stole my soul. He’ll always be my #1!! Bravo M Murphy for writing a bold, emotional and passionate ending to this series!

Welcome to the final book in the College Years Series from Monica Murphy. It lives up to its name and is everything you want it to be. Eva and Ava have been together for four years but those years since high school have been spent mainly apart. First they were in rival high schools and then Eli in college and Ave in high school and then they were at two different colleges hours apart. But they made it work and worked hard to have what they had with each other. But the day comes with Eli give Ava a ultimatum. Him or her college trip to Spain. But Ava knows she needs to do something for herself and goes to Spain. Now she is back and Eli isn't having it. He wants an apology from her for leaving and she wants an apology from him for making her choose. So they are at a crossroads and have some very grown up decisions to make. You are going to love this book. You will not be able to put it down and I thought it was the perfect ending to a great series.

2.5 Stars.

I'm not sure if I was rooting for Ava and Eli to make it or if I was hoping they would move on to a less toxic relationship with someone new. This book was high on fighting and angst and low on the romance.

I was totally worried going into this one because Ava and Eli are my favourite couple. Yes, this story puts your heart through the wringer but in the best way and there’s lots of appearances by all the characters from this amazing college sports romance series.

Ava and Eli have been together for 4 years now and she’s returned from an extended study abroad program in Spain that Eli did not support. ie He gave her a typical Eli ultimatum that Ava didn’t give in to and left anyway. Go team Ava! She deserved time to experience something just for herself but they were both left heart broken and broken up. Upon her return, they were absolutely not able mend things because the whole experience has shown them the cracks in what they thought was a strong foundation. It cast doubt on all they counted on and expected from each other.

I was 60% through another book but as soon as I got the email saying my ARC of The Senior had arrived, I totally did something I rarely ever do and started this one RIGHT AWAY. I devoured it in a day and couldn’t get enough of this story of love, growth and relationship redemption. I was absolutely on edge and filled with apprehension at some points not just because of Ava and Eli but their friend group as a whole. Since starting college they’ve all grown closer but the whole Ava/Eli broken up dynamic really added a layer of reality and maturity to their friendships.

Monica Murphy has absolutely outdone herself with Ava and Eli’s story. They’re explosive, stubborn and so incredibly in love. They deserved all the words Monica bestowed on them and she did it in a heartfelt and authentic way. Theirs is an epic love story and their 3 books lets readers savour every moment with these two.

The College Years Series is hands down one of the best new adult series EVER. All the characters are memorable and lovable and I’m so sad we’re at the end.

Now I’m ready and freaking excited for Beck’s story! As a diehard fan of all things Callahan, I was BESIDE myself when I saw another book AFTER Beck’s listed under the Callahans Series. There is a God or at least a very benevolent Angel of an author named Monica Murphy 😇♥️

Do not wait or hesitate to one-click this one. It’s all worth it and it’s all soooo good!

I was kindly given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was so unexpectedly good.

I love it when there's history between a couple and that was my first green flag for this book. I also loved the characters. There was just something so real abt them.
I feel like it was a pretty good portrayal of a college relationship and even though Eli acted like such an ass, I couldn't help but love him. He often said things he didn't mean (it was pretty clear from his inner monologue), did things he hadn't meant to do and made everything abt himself but the character development was spot on.
The book had one of my most hated trope ever towards the end but it worked for me here so well. I kind of felt like it was needed.
I'm just rlly happy to have read a 5 stars book after so long😌.

My heart is overflowing with love! Love for these characters, love this series, and love for my favorite Monica Murphy couple of all time. The Senior was everything I wanted and then some- all of the heart squishing, angsty magic that I expected yet completely unexpected in every way. What a perfect, bittersweet, heart-aching and swoony conclusion to the series that reminds us just how complicated it can be to mature - all while falling in love. I laughed, I cried, I swooned, breathlessly consumed by every single word. Ava and Eli are inexplicably special- and the Senior delivers a story that is worthy of my ravenous love for them and a story that amplifies it in its charm and sincerity.

Truth be told, I was hella nervous to read The Senior. I had 100% faith in Monica, but these two are my literal all time favorite MM couple ever, and one of my favorite new adult romance couples of all time. Their love story had been told, we had an HEA, and I was all cozy in my Ava-Eli happiness bubble, content with where they ended. But as we got to see the other couples come together in the College Years, we’d been seeing small cracks in their seemingly impenetrable connection. And, I hated that for them. Though it’s refreshing and REAL, I was scared to see the couple I love fall apart, and even though I knew Monica would put them back together eventually, I was worried they’d be like a broken vase- never as perfect to me, whole and fixed, but just not the same. But trust in Monica, I did- and I’m so glad. Because the end result isn’t a glued together replica- she breaks them and she rebuilds them even better, somehow even more perfect than they were before. And somehow with me falling even more in love with them.

The journey is HARD- because Monica breaks them, and she breaks them deeply, painfully- and in many ways. I won’t say much because there are some real twists to this story- I thought I had it all figured out, and then a new obstacle would arise, and more heartache. Smartly, we’re spared seeing some of the ugliness that led them to this place- and that is so brilliant. Because not only do we not have to live with two soulmates shattering, but we get to focus our energy on the aftermath. Monica really immerses us in their angst. AND IT IS ANGSTY. LIke you want to shake them, why are they so stubborn and indecisive, they are making me crazy angsty. They are a mess- and their story is messy. Painful in places, emotionally raw, intense. But at the core we still have this beautiful couple we adore, and even when they can’t get on the same page or get past their issues, the crux of them remains the same- these two are soulmates, so emotionally connected that they have the power to bring out the best and worst in each other, but always better TOGETHER. And now they have to figure out just how to get back to that place- and if the emotional damage they’ve done is too overpowering for their greatest truth- which is that they can’t stop loving each other.

Monica writes some of the most compelling new adult stories around- because she lets her characters act young, be the newly formed adults they are. She lets them be immature, be selfish, not yet fully developed emotionally. Her characters are growing up and learning to be in love the first time while also figuring out who they are as people. And the Senior is such a compelling example of how Monica Murphy develops characters as they grow- as they evolve. I didn’t know I needed the Senior, but I did. Because Ava and Eli were not grown up- they were two teens who fell in love hard, but they didn’t yet know who or what they were as people. And in that formative time, they were so wrapped up in each other, it’s like they forgot themselves. They forgot to face their own issues, and they didn’t prioritize the emotional growth they each needed- to be better partners to each other, but also to grow into the adults they wanted to be. And in this aspect, the Senior sparkles- it’s a heartfelt, and realistic depiction of two kids becoming adults, and the growing pains of their romance trying to adapt with them.

I could seriously read book after book of these two characters, so this is a bittersweet goodbye to the series, and a fond farewell to these two characters, though I’m hopeful we’ll see them pop up in other places. The finale of this could not be anymore perfect- I wept, more than once- in sadness and in joy, brimming with a contented pride that our sweet Ava and Eli are left better than we found them. That they’ve somehow deepened and enriched a love I thought was already perfect. My heart is so full- even if this is a tearful goodbye to the college years and this brilliant and lovable cast of characters.

My sweet, stubborn Eli. When will you get over yourself? The answer, I fear, is never.
A new book about Eli and Ava? Bring the drama, and the drama was brought. These two have my whole heart.
Eli has abandonment issues, he might think he doesn't but come on Eli, and when Ava gets a chance to go on a trip to Spain for the summer, he gives her an ultimatum. She can stay home and spend the summer with him, this will be the only time they have together since they go to different schools, or she can go to Spain and he will be done with their relationship. It's obvious that she's not putting him first (again, we all know this is crazy talk but we need to let Eli come to this realization on his own). The book starts out with my sweet angel babies broken up, and I think it was done perfectly.
Eli has grown up from the hot headed, big mouthed player he was in high school, but he's still young and has a lot of growing to still do.
There was a lot of back and forth, which I felt to my core. I imagined this was me in high school/college and everything was pretty spot on. Both Ava and Eli had a lot of maturing to do and hard choices to make. They needed to communicate (which at that age is pretty much non existent) and while some things I felt were glossed over and forgiven very easily, overall I thought this was a great representation of college life and young love.
I'm so glad we saw more of Eli and Ava because I can't get enough of their journey. It is just proof that we all still have growing to do and it's not all sunshine and rainbows. Everyone in the relationship has to work at it.

Ava and Eli is one of my all time favourite new adult couple. Without any doubt. Monica Murphy brings the swoon, the steam and above all, all consuming angst in The Senior. It was an unbelievable ride. My heart is so full. I didn't think I would survive but at the end, I was smiling through tears. What an epic college sports romance with absolutely amazing emotional depth!
.
Ava and Eli had a rocking start to their relationship. And you need to read their duet Addicted To Him and Meant To Be first. Ava's brother and Eli were enemies in field. But they came so far from that. The physical distance of their colleges caused a big rift and Eli gave her an ultimatum. And they break up. Even when they love each other. Will they find their way back to each other?
.
Oh my god why, just why, I love Ava and Eli so much? They are both stubborn, emotional and go all in when it comes to love. They cannot stay without each other but they cannot stop making mistakes and hurting each other either. It's like their love runs to deep and intense that they hurt equally deeply. Eli..Eli..Eli. What will I do with your broken beautiful heart with all emotional issues? He didn't see love a lot while growing up and whe n someone like Ava loves him unconditionally, he tends to self sabotage it by twisting in his head. He can be a real a##h#le because hiding his emotions is the best way to save himself from getting hurt. On the other hand, Ava is our sweet girl with a strong heart. She sees the beautiful man behind his tough exterior and she always supports him and soothes his rough edges. But even she has a limit and Eli broke her. Oh my heart..I wanted to hit someone to push some sense in their head! The angst was so good in this one. And so was all the emotional back and forth. My heart went through an emotional shredder and oh I loved every second. Ava and Eli are real soulmates who makes themselves better persons. But oh what a challenge for them! And the extra beauty of this story is their friends! I have been with them throughout this journey and I miss them already. It was certainly bittersweet but I loved it.
.
Monica Murphy delivered the heartbreak, the swooniest feels, the sizzling hot chemistry and the adrenaline rush of sports romance perfectly in The Senior.

I mean, it's another touchdown! Monica Murphy brings us back into the College Years and our fave pair - Eli and Ava. Monica Murphy has a way of creating these worlds that pull you in and make you a part of the character's lives and you never want to leave. The Senior is intense. Buckle your seat belt and hold on for one intense emotional rollercoaster that will have your screaming at someone, wanting to slap some sense into one of them, or give them a big hug. We dive back in with Eli and Ava, but not everything is peachy for these two and they continue with this push and pull that will have you on the edge of your seat holding your breath half the time wondering if they will ever figure things out. If you want to what happens and experience your heart shattered, but put back together in the most beautiful way, read The Senior! You will be wanting more of everyone!

I knew I was going to finish this book in one sitting before I even started it and I was right! I even got annoyed that my friends were texting me while I was reading haha, but I'm going to keep this short since it would be so easy to give away spoilers.

Ava and Eli broke my heart in this book and slowly put it back together. I didn't see a lot of this book coming especially the second half, and while it was tragic, it was also wonderful to see the strength of the friendships that came out of it.

Ava and Eli are my absolute favorite couple in the Monica Murphy world and if I could have a thousand books of them, I would read them all immediately! If this is the end, then I'm so glad this is how their story went!

“She is by far the most important thing in my life.
More important than football.
Than my family.
She is my family. My life. My light.
My everything.”

The Senior is the fourth and final book in the College Years series and follows Ava and Eli, who we previously met in The Callahan series. I found this installment perfectly concluded the series, but also Ava and Eli's story. It was wonderful to be back with the Callahans again and the characters from the other series because I've missed them a lot!

Ava and Eli are both very frustrating and stubborn characters, and the fact that they don't study at the same college affects their relationship a lot, to the point of breaking up. Now that Ava is back from her European study abroad program, they keep running into each other because of their mutual group of friends. From that point on, there is a lot of back and forth between Ava and Eli as they reflect on their relationship and future together. Their chemistry was on fire. They shared so many angsty but also more emotional moments that made me shed a few tears. I love them so much, and they are still one of my favorite couples from Monica Murphy! Ava stood up for herself a lot and was honest with Eli, while he had great character development. He is still as infuriating as he was in The Callahan series, but I can't help but be drawn to him. It was fascinating to see Ava and Eli grow from high school and become more mature. Their love for each other is still so beautiful, and it's incredible to see how loyal they are to each other. This book made me love Ava and Eli even more than I thought I could, and they more than deserved to have three books!

As always, the side characters are great and so supportive of Ava and Eli. I adore their group of friends, and I'm not ready to say goodbye. Also, the crumbs about JakeHannah and DiegoJocelyn were everything. I need more of these two couples, and especially a DiegoJocelynGigi family novella!! I'm NOT giving up.

Overall, The Senior was everything I could have hoped for to conclude the College Years series. The epilogues had me in tears, I love these characters so much!! Ava and Eli deserve the world, and I'm definitely not ready to say goodbye to them or all the associated characters from the Callahan universe. Nonetheless, I can't wait to read Beck's book, and I also need to dive into Drew and Fable's books ASAP!!

5 Star Review of The Senior (College Years #4) by Monica Murphy

I knew going in to this story that this was the last book in the series and ending it with Eli and Ava seemed only fitting. They’ve been together through thick and thin for over fours years and despite the fact that they have done the long distance relationship they have survived or have they?

The Senior was well written, full of angst, drama and miss communications. Ms Murphy will rip you apart but then put you back together again and that’s what happened whilst reading The Senior. However their is tension in their relationship and when Eli pushes Ava to decide between him and a college trip to Spain she feels she has no choice but to chose Spain. I was so frustrated with Eli I wanted to smack him across the back of the head at times.
The chemistry between them is just as intense as always, their love is still as deep but they have grown apart. Both Eli and Ava are stubborn and independent people, so who will win this battle of wills? Or will they be torn apart once and for all ?

One click and find out.

Gah, I can't even express how much I've loved reading about all of the Callahans, and all of their friends, all the way back to the beginning with Drew and Fable in One Week Girlfriend back in 2013! The Senior is bittersweet though, because it's the end of an Era.

Eli and Ava were everything. I felt all of their angst and emotions, right down to my soul, and cried right along with them! Each book written by Monica seems to become my new favorite, and this one is right up there! I can't recommend this one highly enough! More than five stars!!!

RATING: 5/5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟+++++
STEAM: 3/5 🔥🔥🔥

I’m just a big ball of emotions right now. I’m overwhelmed with all that I’m feeling. Monica hit us with this beautiful and emotional epic finale to an overall amazing series. I cannot express how much I absolutely love Monica Murphy. She created this world with these amazing characters that leaves you obsessed and thinking about them days later. As soon as I started the prologue of 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘰𝘳, I was hooked. From the very first page I was so consumed by Eli and Ava - how they would work through all their issues and make it out together. The angst, the chemistry, the drama, the heartache and all the tender poignant moments throughout their story made me such an emotional mess - I literally felt them all.

I prolonged reading the conclusion of 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘨𝘦 𝘚𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 and the finale to Eli and Ava’s story for as long as I could. I didn’t want it to be the end and I didn’t want to say goodbye to this world. Eli and Ava will always have a special place in my heart. Eli Bennett - I swear I’m utterly in love with him. Seeing how much he grew into the man we all knew he could be made me emotional. I can beg Monica everyday for another Eli and Ava installment that I would devour just as much as I did in every book about them. I can’t get enough of these two. They are hands down my favorite couple that Monica Murphy has ever written.

I loved seeing the entire crew back together one last time. The epilogue is absolutely everything. It was so heartwarming and wrapped up each of the characters stories and the series perfectly. I savored every word, every sentence, every emotion I felt while reading this book. And at the end, I hugged my kindle as I shed a few tears. What a ride. And I miss them already.

OMG. Eli comes so close to edging out Jordan Tuttle in the best book boyfriend category even when he is being a jerk. I can’t say enough about the amazing story all the characters and pulling in everyone for one last time. It has felt like years with these characters.

Eli and Ava have had an interesting relationship where some times it’s clear that they are both stubborn and have insecurities that they let take over. Ava had always had a family that loves and supports her and Eli has only really had that from the Callahan family. When they break up Eli feels like he lost more than just his girl and he lets his mouth get him in trouble.

I don’t want to give away the story but I’ll say that these two are in for a ride and it will take some compromise, listening and a whole lot of love for them to get to the end and Monica takes you on an amazing journey to get there.

I have always had a soft spot for Eli but after this book I don’t think I’ll let him go. Amazing story, series and characters. Thank

Eli Bennet is a fan favorite for sure. The way he and Ava love each other is the best part of the whole series. The back and forth in this book got on my nerves real bad. Eli was on my shit list for most of the hook too. I couldn’t stand how stubborn and dumb he was being! Ugh…men!

Ava is my favorite female character of the series. She’s bold, strong, and beautiful! That girl deserves everything and more. Love her so much! Which is why I hated on Eli so bad. Get your head out of your ass, Eli!

Of course, Eli being another fave, I forgave him pretty quickly haha. How could I not? He’s so cute! I love the Callhans so much and can’t wait for more books…ahem, Beck!…

Overall, this was a beautiful end to Ava and Eli’s story. The book had me feeling sad, angry, and eventually, all the love.

The Senior came into my life with a storm and captured my heart entirely! It's a wild angsty rollercoaster that took me by my feels! It's also so beautiful and heartfelt; full of passion and emotions!

Ava and Eli are absolutely perfect, I honestly can't deal!! They have something so special and their love is truly so deep. It's definitely full of ups and downs but also filled with so many beautiful moments! Their story is amazing and I adored this book so much!

I'm completely in love with Ava and Eli, and maybe even a little obsessed at this point. Knowing their story from the very beginning in Addicted To Him and Meant To Be and everything they've been through together, my love for this only increases.

And when I say this is a rollercoaster I truly mean it. My heart was broken and I cried but also smiled and laughed. I love how this book shows that the happily ever after doesn't end there, so much more happens after and that it's not only unicorns and rainbows...

So in love with this series and each character! I'm definitely going back and reading each book in both the series! So so good!

OH MY HEART!!!!! Hello book hangover but oh in such a good way. The Senior is a fantastic I want to give it more then five star read. This is everything I was hoping and more when it comes to Ava and Eli. You just may need a few tissues for this one as Ava and Eli try and navigate through their stress filled senior year. Ava is still sweet and has grown so much along with being so stubborn too. Eli has his issues but you understand them in many ways. He is also hardheaded and stubborn too. Eli and Ava will be one of your favorite couples by the end of this one and the College Years series. You feel for Eli and Ava as they work to figure out what the future holds for them together. This is an emotional filled read that may just have you yelling at Monica Murphy for everything she puts us as readers through as well as the turmoil that Ava and Eli experience. I applaud her for everything she gives us on these pages. What a way to end the College Years. I could not get enough of this one. I loved every emotionally filled, heart aching moment. OH! MY! GOODNESS!
When I read Addicted To Him & Meant To Be (#3 + #4 of The Callahans Series) I was ABSOLUTELY ADDICTED to the love story of Ava Callahan and Eli Bennett.
So when Monica Murphy revealed that The Senior (#4 of The College Years) is about them again I WAS SOOOOO HAPPY about it!
OMG! And I can tell you that Monica Murphy didn't disappoint me at all! Ha! As if she could ever disappoint me!
I LOOOOOOVE HER BOOKS!
And of course I loved The Senior as well!
The INTENSE and EMOTIONAL love story of Ava and Eli continues and AWWWWW! IT'S ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!!
OMG IT WAS SO DAMN GOOD!
Ava and Eli are their typical selves! Full of passion and stubbornness and love
GOD! I LOVE THEM SOOOOO MUCH!
The Senior was such an intense continuation of their love story.
A REAL MASTERPIECE!
THANK YOU Monica Murphy! I hope there'll be more of the Callahans and all their friends! ❤❤❤❤

This is the last book in the College Years Series and endit it with Eli and Ava seemed just perfect.
This is a couple who have weathered the storms, have been together through thick and thin and for over four years that have tried to survived a long distance relationship so now it’s their time or is it…
Ava and Eli shouldn’t work, they are both determined, stubborn characters but time and time again hey prove everybody wrong as they negotiate the twists and turns in their journey. But this time Eli may just have pushed his luck a bit to far, this time Ava may not be forgiving.
This is a story with all the feels, it’s hot and steamy with intense chemistry, it’s full of drama and angst and Monica Murphy will certainty tear you apart before she puts you back together again. A perfect book to finish the series on.

This couple is my favorite from the College Year series so I was so nervous to read this story but I’m so glad that I did it was heartbreaking and emotional full of all the angst we come to expect from Monica Murphy I laughed I cried and the steam was super hot the chemistry between Ava and Eli is palpable it’s intense it’s smoking hot and it’s quite obvious these two are endgame for each other . I’m so sad that this series is over I’ve loved every single character that is from this amazing series it’s bittersweet but this author couldn’t have told a story more perfect for the ending of this beloved world than Eli and Ava finding their way together. The writing is phenomenal and I highly recommend anything from this author but this one is a favorite!
