Many thanks to the author / Bloodhound Books for the digital copy of this psychological thriller. Read and reviewed voluntarily, opinions expressed here are unbiased and entirely my own.

Best friends Flora and Sophie are living the life. Married to brothers Sam and Greg, they've left a disquieting childhood and moved into a family of wealth.

The mother-in-law, Cecelia, does not care for either of the women her sons married. They are "beneath" her. She discredits Flora every chance she gets and although Flora tells her husband, he really doesn't pay much attention. Sophie is married to Greg ... and that marriage is not what it seems. She desperately wants to get out of the marriage, out of the toxic family.

When Cecelia learns that Flora and Sam are moving away, she loses all appearances of being the doting mother-in-law. Flora seems to be a target. Her credit cards disappear from her purse.... someone tried to drown her ... it just goes on and on and on. Are they warnings that she cannot move ... or is it something more lethal?

How far will Cecelia to go to hang onto her much-loved son? How far will she go to get rid of Flora?

With a mother-in-law like Cecelia, anything is possible…

It's an intricate plot filled with twists and turns and characters that are deftly drawn. Fast-paced, it's full of action ... a real page turner... from the very first page to the very unexpected conclusion.

A mother in law from hell, a dysfunctional family, a marriage not as it seems, secrets, lies, deceit, domestic abuse, manipulation, toxic relationships and friendship all play a role in this engrossing tale from Abigail Osborne.

So when you read the above did you need to take a breath? Phew I did and I wrote it! This book is mentally exhausting with everything that goes on and is so very riveting. The plot is intricately woven and pulls you into its web, its narrative is compelling and multifaceted.

I love these stories that are bursting full of drama and you definitely get that in this book. Above all else though, the main crux of it is about the friendship between Flora and Sophie. Friends since childhood, all they have had is each other and I enjoyed learning of its origin, how it has developed over time and how it is portrayed in the present.

All the characters are all interesting and intriguing. That Cecelia is a piece of work! The things that come out of that woman’s mouth, oh my goodness she is something else. I loved Flora and felt very protective of her especially when in the firing line of Cecelia wrath!

Save Me is an addictive psychological thriller. It is a well written and fast paced with no unnecessary filler chapters, making for a quick and smooth read. The twist was unexpected and well done and everything played out perfectly. All up a very satisfying read.

This book delves into the psyche of friendships and relationships and which one is ultimately stronger when things feel like they're falling apart...or at least you think they are. What sinister things are lurking around the corner when they 2 people closest to you see you in different ways but they both have their own secrets to keep...

Strong suspense with a bit of annoying naivety and again, this book feels like one I've read before, or at least the plot.

Flora and Sophie have always been the best of friends. They are now married to the wealthy Cavendish brothers and even live on the same street. The only problem? Their overbearing mother in law, Cecelia. And those houses on the same street? Cecelia bought them, has keys, and shows up unannounced. Her meddlesome ways aren’t as concerning as the utter disdain she holds for both her daughter in laws.

Flora and her husband announce they are going to move and all hell breaks loose. Flora soon falls victim to a series of pranks, which become menacing attacks. Is her mother in law behind them? Can Flora be saved?

While reading thrillers I get so annoyed with myself. Instead of simply reading the story as it’s laid out, I am constantly wondering what’s going to happen- Who did it? Is this the twist?

I thought I had Save Her worked out pretty quickly. I saw the writing on the wall and was feeling pretty smug with myself. But let me tell you, I knew nothing. The ending of this book truly blew my mind.

Best of friends marrying into the same well off family - sounds like happily ever after if it wasn’t for their evil mother in law! This one twists and turns until you aren’t sure who to believe anymore! Definitely a page turner that keeps you guessing till the very end!

This book has a fast pace and twists and turns that will keep you guessing as to who the actual "bad guy" is in the story. The family dynamics within the story is something that I am sure many people can relate to in one way or another which makes it even more appealing. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars This Book Will Keep You On The Edge Of Your Seat!

I've literally gone to bed early every night just to read this book, I was so excited to read it after reading Abigail's first novel, the puppet master. The story of save her captivates you straight into the novel, with lots of twists and turns, which makes you sit on the edge of your seat after the end of every chapter. You are completely and utterly engrossed into each story of the character's, wanting to find out more as the events unravel. Abigails use of descriptive words make you firmly present within the story and my heart was racing throughout. Her clever writing skills have made me want to dive into reading more books and I am not a big reader! 5 stars! I can't wait to read more from Abigail in the future! You will not regret buying this novel!

Save her will have you on the edge of your seat, it is full of suspense. Save her is a psychological thriller.

Sophie and Flora have been friends for a very long time and haven’t had the best of life but when they marry brothers Sam and Greg Cavendish, there life’s are transformed but one thing seems to be getting in their way of having a happy life and that’s Cecila Cavendish their horrible mother in law.

Flora announces that her and Sam are moving to her family’s home that she has been left, but what flora doesn’t know is that Cecila will do anything to stop her son moving.

I really enjoyed reading this book, it kept me up all night. Abigail has done a great job with the plot and characters.

5.0 out of 5 stars I LOVED this book!!!!!!!

Flora and Sophie have married brothers and have been best friends since they were children. Both of them have had their own tormented pasts, but have always had each other to cling onto for support. Their mother-in-law wants them both out of her son's lives and is determined to ruin them. When Flora begins to fear for her life she realises that she can't even trust her husband.

Oh my God! I LOVED this book. I began reading it thinking one thing and by the end I was like "whhhaaaat?!" I did manage to work out one of the twists, but that didn't stop me from turning the pages. This book is so clever and so well written. You get to read from both Flora and Sophie's point of view, each page providing a new snippet of information, a new angle.

The writing style is amazing. Really beautifully written. It drew me in and I found myself so connected to the characters. The ending wasn't what I was expecting at all (and that's a good thing!) It kept me guessing all the way through.

To be honest there's nothing I didn't like about this book. Some of the characters are extremely unlikeable though!

The story moved at a good pace and I enjoyed the style of writing. Unfortunately the plot was entirely predictable, and I found myself skimming a lot of the pages because I knew exactly who was doing what and why. Even to the last 'surprising twist in the tale' , it's always something these kind of books have added in at the end, so it wasn't all that surprising really. I don't like to be negative but I am fed up with this formulaic story telling.

I loved this book from the beginning, the friendship between Sophie and Flora was intriguing and made me want to carry on reading. I instantly warmed towards Sophie and felt for her, having to deal with in-laws like that!!

I really enjoyed that each character had their own storylines, but because of the authors writing skills, this at no point became overwhelming or confusing.

It is so hard to write about this book without giving away spoilers, and this is a must read book.

I really excited for the authors future work, especially if it involves following more of Flora’s story.
