I was in need of a carry-on luggage piece, as my job was putting me on a plane more often. Having previously bought/traveled with a Samsonite hardside 'check' suitcase, I kept my focus on their models in this size. The most important statistic for me was the overall dimensions of the unit. There are a lot of reviews for carry-on luggage on Amazon that suggested many dimensions are not accurate and were not passing airline regulations. This model seemed to note accurate dimensions, so I pulled the trigger (they are). I had no issues with Delta and United when I used this as my carry-on luggage. In fact, I noticed that several other cases that people were bringing aboard were often an inch or two taller and wider than this case.
As for the product itself, I have only one complaint. There's only a basic level of pockets/compartments, which is somewhat expected. Even if it isn't possible for external pockets (hardsided), there are options to add some additional sections internally. Otherwise I felt the construction was of great quality - I enjoy the obnoxious, candy-colored orange, as it easily stands out from many other pieces of luggage. At this price point, it's a solid option for your next carry-on need.
