This is the second set of Conair 14498z 3 Piece Styling Essentials Multiple Combs I’ve purchased. I keep one set in my travel bag and one at home now, instead of my old vented brushes. They work well for combing out tangles in curly and wavy medium length hair, wet or dry, without tugging or pulling out any hairs, unlike my vented plastic bristle brushes. They also are great for combing through just styled hair without causing frizziness or fly-aways.

For some reason I can no longer find in stores Conair's long rectangular comb by itself or in this 3 pack. I bought it just for that and it's still the same quality. I have thick hair and since discovering their comb I use it exclusively. Works with wet and dry hair. Very good at getting rid of loose hairs. I had the comb in lilac as pictured. The one sent to me is a very pretty dark teal with a slight shimmer. Highly recommend!

Update: Bought a second for backup. This time it was a jeweltone pink with shimmer. Can't recommend these enough!

I like to de-tangle my hair in the shower after applying conditioner using a wide-tooth comb. The rectangle shape comb is the one I really wanted out of the set. It's very sturdy and exactly what I wanted. It's very smooth to the touch doesn't snag your hair, but it's easy to hold and isn't so flexible that you feel it's not going to work.
