Enjoy this trendy, easy-care plant
Pothos is an ideal plant for anyone and any room!
Pothos (botanically known as Epipremnum) is an ideal plant for just about everyone. It’s delightfully forgiving, making it an excellent choice for beginners to try with their first houseplant. It grows relatively quickly, making it a thoughtful gift for the green thumbs in your life.
There are a number of pothos varieties available. Golden Pothos sports green leaves streaked and splashed with creamy yellow. It looks – and grows – best in a bright spot where it casts a moderate to strong shadow throughout the day. Happily, Golden Pothos tolerates lower-light spots, so you can grow it practically anywhere, even under plant lights.
Water Pothos as the top couple of inches of the potting mix dries to the touch. Pothos does better if you keep it too dry than too wet. If it gets more moisture than it likes, it can suffer root rot.
Pothos plants are:
- Great gifts
- Live indoor houseplants
- Delivered fresh from farm
- Climbing or trailing houseplants
- Full of beautiful variegated leaves
- Forgiving, low-maintenance houseplants
- Easy to propagate and share
- Fast growers
Pothos is perfect for everyone

Let it climb or trailPothos is a versatile houseplant that really lets you show off your personal style. You can enjoy its variegated foliage gracefully cascading from a shelf or hung from a basket (this keeps it up and away from kids or pets). Or let it scramble along a surface like a tabletop or mantle to create a lush green look. Or grow it up a trendy moss totem, trellis, or even your wall (though be careful, the roots will adhere to the wall). No matter how you grow it, Pothos adds elegance, life, and style to your space. |
Perfect for beginnersOne of our favorite things about Pothos is that just about anyone can grow it. Pothos tolerates a wide range of conditions, including those that can make other houseplants struggle, including low light, low humidity, and infrequent watering. Its forgiving nature makes it an ideal plant for just about any home or office, and for plant parents of every skill level. And because it grows relatively quickly, it’s also ideal for older children. |
Good for your healthPothos doesn’t simply look good, it may also be good for you! A variety of scientific studies point to various ways houseplants like Pothos can help us physically and mentally. For example, research shows plants may help reduce our stress levels, improve cognition and memory, and promote happiness and a more positive attitude. Because it’s easy to grow, it may also help increase feelings of pride and satisfaction as you keep it lush and healthy. |
Easy to sharePothos is one of the best houseplants to propagate and share. Just pinch off the end of a stem with a leaf or two and pot it up or even drop it in water. After a few weeks, the cuttings will grow new roots and you can give them to friends and family. Pothos roots best in warm, bright conditions with above-average relative humidity. |

Our Mission
Enriching the world by bringing plants into everyone’s life
-
We love plants. It all started in 1961 when our founder, Jose Costa Sr., purchased 30 acres south of Miami to grow fresh, vine-ripened tomatoes. Soon after, that morphed into indoor houseplants. We've spent the past 61 years growing the highest quality plants so that you can decorate your home, gift, and grow plants fresh from our farm delivered right to your home

Product Description
Devil's Ivy features assorted, green foliage. The Devil's Ivyis great for tabletops. It does well in spaces that have medium, indirect light. Place Devil's Ivy in a spot that receives medium light (3-5 hours of sunlight). Water your plant about once a week with approximately 1 cup and be sure all excess water drains away. Adjust as needed for your environment. Do not let the Devil's Ivy sit in water or overly soggy soil. The height is approximately 10-inches tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. The Devil's Ivy in a black, 6-inch grower pot. To help with water drainage, this container does have holes. The Devil's Ivy is a fast grower. Exact growth rate depends on the care provided and its environment. Give it a boost during the warm months of Spring and Summer with a general-purpose fertilizer that is formulated for potted plants. Follow the instructions on the fertilizer package for the best use. When the plant out grows the current container, it is time to repot. To repot the Devil's Ivy, gently remove it from its current container and place it into a slightly larger container. Fill in any empty spaces with new and fresh soil and water thoroughly. This plant is considered hardy in USDA Zone 10-12.Be aware of third-party sellers; other companies try to imitate our quality. There are no other authorized Costa Farms sellers. The box looked damaged and I was worried, but the plant was really healthy and lush. I love the colors of the pot (it’s plastic, not ceramic), but from a distance it looks really elegant.
I highly recommend.
UPDATE: As you can see from the 2nd picture, this pothos is healthy and happily growing. It’s been really nice to care for these plants and find some that actually survive after years of trying and failing to maintain plants.
