Scorcher of an opening scene, which totally sets the tone of Natalia and invites the reader to buckle in for the rest of the story. If you’ve read the other two books in the Dominion series, you’ve seen pieces of how formidable Natalia is, and finally we get to see the full picture. The dance between Natalia and Sam is one of heat, intensity, and perseverance. The usual sharp and quick humor of the author is prevalent throughout the scenes, and some of the inner dialogue brings Natalia to life as much as her perpetual dominance. Beautiful mix of poignant reflection and seeking to distance as she experiences inescapable connection with members of Sam’s family during gatherings. Extraordinary commentary on feminist perspective, whether in Sam’s research or Natalia’s vision for Dominion, plus smart women being so hot. Brilliant writing, sex scenes aplenty, and deep personal discovery make this book another incredible addition to the Dominion series.

I have read and reread every book by JJ Arias and this has become, by far, my favorite. This feeling and thought that’s been rolling around in my mind since finishing this book, feels and sounds so bizarre even as I type, to say that I feel so LUCKY to have read and experienced this book. The characters, the spice, the story, the Dominion world-just everything about this series, I love so much.

Mrs. Arias, thank you. Your writing skill and storytelling knows no bounds. You are one of the most talented authors and undoubtedly the most underrated I have ever read. I cannot wait for the stardom and accolades you so clearly deserve to come your way.

I very much enjoyed Natalia's coming to terms with herself. She was such a powerful woman with her own business. If only that icy facade could be shattered! Enter Samantha. A professor who was at the top of her game. The exact opposite in temperament from Natalia. It was a true joy to witness their evolving relationship. Both had a past that needed some closure. I could go on and on about the exquisiteness of the writing in these pages. I smiled a lot at the witty banter but felt sad in some parts too. The intimate scenes were so perfectly written. I am glad that I have all three books in my library and will surely read them all again and again.

This story has some magnificent banter. Natalia truly met her match with Sam. The chemistry and steam were very well written. It was so interesting in the way the author dived into the push and pulled along with such conflicting feelings going on within the MCs. Well done.

However, the story did at times have a tendency to drag on, and sometimes, I found myself losing focus due to the dragging, which unfortunately makes me wish the story had wrapped up a bit sooner even though I truly did enjoy reading about these two.

I was so excited for this book, and let me just simply say- it BLEW past my expectations and into the realm of Top READ of 2024. I loved absolutely everything about Natalia. Everything. Usually you get a final book on a series, and it's on par or sometimes just a filler finale- but this.... this finale is unforgettable just like the characters. I'm already wishing for the audio and rereading the whole series. Honestly, this is one of THE BEST books I've read that hit every single mark possible. Absolutely brilliant. Arias has truly shown out and set a high bar for anything else I read this year.

It toys with the "ice queen has to loosen up" story but manages to avoid the depths of melodrama while still keeping it an interesting arc for both characters. So much of every interaction is loaded with heat and sensuality, and several sex scenes that are rather explicit although not to the level of erotica (not that there's anything wrong with that).

Loved it! I've read approx 50000 sapphic romances and this earned 5 stars easily.

There’s just something about Natalia that I fell in love with. She is a prime example of an ice queen! Completely shut off, no outward displays of emotion. Then rolls up Samantha and she’s a force of nature all on her own!

I loved how hard these two women worked to become the item that they did! I just wished this wasn’t the end of this series!!

Yes Yes Yes, it’s finally Natalia’s story. And boy! What a story it is. I made myself read this slowly so I could take everything in.
This was the book I’ve been waiting for since that cheeky little teaser Ms Arias put out ages ago. I knew it would be good but I’m completely gobsmacked at how much I enjoyed this one.
Natalia has appeared in every book from the teaser to this one, obviously, and I couldn’t get enough of this ice queen. She stands out no matter who the books focus is on. That commanding presence just screams I’m in charge.
Sam was similar, not the ice queen part but a very strong character. Yes she has a past that’s not ideal, even with that she fought her way back with the help of family and friends.
You feel the air crackle every time these two meet. Natalia is as hard headed as you’d expect, eventually realising that Sam is here to stay.
Both main characters have past issues, one had a loving family for support the other had no one. But together they can take on anything, and win.
This is the perfect ending to this trilogy (plus teaser) but I’ll admit to wanting more. I’m not ready to say goodbye to Dominion.
