Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

1. If you did not do it yet, invest in learning computer aided design (commonly known as CAD). Sure, you can scour the web for "ready to print" designs on your 3D printer, but they are not yours and you are limited to what others already "designed". If you are willing to climb the mountain (worth it) and learn CAD, I would strongly recommend FreeCAD (www.freecadweb.org).
2. This point is based on #1. Your imaginations is your limit and gratification of using this printer is immense.
Over all, this is a very solid 3D printer for those who want to dip their toes in this field. I would highly recommend it to anyone who just is starting.
2021-02-14 - Review update
I increased the overall rating to 5 stars. I am also including my first prints. The two cloth pins on the left I done by me in FreeCAD and the remaining prints (Angel the G-clamp) are from www.thethingverse.com.
Again, I cannot stress enough how impressed I am by this consumer printer. It is definitely a gateway to other printers providing more fabrication capabilities and quality (as in fine detail) and materials. I would highly recommend it to anyone trying to dip their toes in 3D printing.

Today was a sad day. After literally 1 month since the purchase of this product, my AnyCubic Mega S went bust. The heating bed stopped heating up thus consequently rending printer unusable. After googling for solutions, it became obvious that I was not the first "victim" of heating bed failure on AnyCubic and it seems to be a frequent occurrence. Hint to AnyCuibc - use BETTER COMPONENTS and improve your quality control.
Because the printer is on warranty and I don't feel like tinkering with soldering iron and wires and ripping apart in general a brand new product, I decided to return it and request a replacement. Yes, replacement because this printer is great, in spite of this little set back. The print quality is outstanding and I love the easy of use.
I will chuck this experience up to a fluke and a "lemon" case. I hope that the replacement will do much better. I still give it 5 stars.
2021-03-12 - Update: Today I received my replacement for the one I just purchased a month ago. I was up and running in less than an hour and finishing my prints I had to stop due to the bed heating failure in my first AnyCubic. After my experience in setting up Sovol SV01, I can assure you that AnyCubic Mega S is a PLEASURE to work with. I missed my clean and very good prints. One thing I have noticed already was that this printer came from a much newer batch than the one I purchased in February. It has a new firmware and updated user interface. I hope, that the bed heating problem related to poor wiring (in my opinion) has been addressed in this release. Time will tell.
In all honesty, I believe that AnyCubic Mega S is a very underated 3D printer by other that does not get a lot of attention, but it should. It is a great printer.
2021-03-26 - Update: The replacement AnyCubic performs magnificently. I am a little bit apprehensive waiting for April 11th to arrive as this is the "no return" date to Amazon in case something went wrong with the printer. In any case, I am posting another picture of my AnyCubic print. This is a birdhouse that was printed in four separate pieces:
1. Green - support beams.
2. Yellow - base (porch).
3. White - main body.
4. Red - Chimney and perches.
All parts are interconnected and slide into each other. If you are interested yourself in printing it, head over to thingaverse.com. It's there. Kudos to the person who designed it.
I stand by what I said earlier about this printer. It is a great product and VERY affordable for anyone who wants to enter 3D printing arena.

I stand by what I said earlier about this printer. It is a great product and VERY affordable for anyone who wants to enter 3D printing arena.
Unboxing and setup was a breeze but that is to be expected from most non-kit 3d printers these days. What I did notice after unboxing was how sturdy and heavy the frame is. This is not a flimsy printer that you'll need to add braces to. Anyways, the kit included many extras that you normally do not get when you purchase a printer. Extra nozzles and an additional hot end with the thermistor and heat cartridge preinstalled that plugs into the board directly above the hot end. This is a HUGE bonus in my book as routing heater cartridge wires through a wire bundle or cable chain when replacing is an enormous pain in the butt. The printer also included a full roll of white pla and several small sample sizes of random colored pla that allow you to calibrate and tweak the printer before you open up the sealed roll of white.
Out of the box the nozzle at "home" sat below the bed at it's lowest/fully tightened point. This was easily resolved by adjust the z stop screws at each end of the carriage. The screw length determines when the z stop activates so you may need to adjust these before leveling your bed. Simple and intuitive. The screws are long and can be a little wobbly so you may want to print something to help hold these in place a little better. I think I even saw that someone on thingiverse had designed something just for this purpose. Anyhow, once I had the bed leveled I loaded up some sample filament and printed the owls test print and they came out looking better than any of my 1st, 2nd or ever 3rd prints from any of my other printers out of the box. And then once the bed cooled down, the textured glass bed released my prints without any struggle.
So after several successful PLA test prints it was time to print a test using flex filament. I ended up using the settings that anycubic recommends for flex filaments as a starting point and only tweaked the temperatures to match the sainsmart tpu that i'd be using. Feeding the flex filament through the titan extruder/bowden tube to the hot end was so incredibly easy and was actually much less of a hassle than trying to line up and feed on my direct drive printers. Well, the first tpu print came out looking fantastic. No blobs, holes or any surface
defects and the print had very minimal stringing. My very first tpu print on this printer came out looking better than prints I get off my other printers, even after multiple upgrades to the hot ends, nozzles and fans.
The ONLY trouble I am having with this anycubic (and I may need to just research it further and/or upgrade the firmware) is when adding a "pause at height" or "change filament at height" command to the Gcode of the job. The printer will pause and follow the directions of the Gcode but there is no way to resume the print as the resume button does nothing. I've found that powering off the printer after the pause allows the job to resume after restart but this is only a workaround at the moment.
Regardless of this one issue, i'm sold. This is a fantastic printer and I highly recommend if you aren't in need of an enormous print volume that you can get out of some of the other offerings on amazon.
Positives -
Titan extruder that works great with flex filaments
Direct path through bowden to the hot end
Heavy duty and compact. (no side control box)
Touchscreen
filament runout detection
resume after power loss
Easy to change colors mid print
Tons of extras included in the box.
Negatives -
Issue with resuming print after pause when using "pause at height" gcode command
