TECHNOLOGY

8MM Offset

Cushioning is distributed more evenly between the heel and forefoot in shoes with an 8mm offset. The result? Your body stays in a more balanced and comfortable position with every foot strike.

FlexFilm

A strong, lightweight material is melded to the upper, which allows for fewer layers in the shoe. The result is a seamless, flexible feel.

Tri-Flex

Increases force dispersion over a greater surface area while also delivering optimal flexibility and traction.

Omni 16 Infograph

Cushioning

The underfoot feel and amount of impact protection provided by the compressing materials between the foot and running surface.

Support

The level of pronation control built into the shoe. Pronation is the inward rolling of the ankle through the gait cycle.

Offset

The difference in height between the heel thickness and forefoot thickness of the shoe.

I have pain in my feet due to plantar fasciitis & am always trying out different sneakers to properly support my arches. These are the most structured & supportive Sauconys. They have a lot of cushion & I can feel the stability built in. I also have the Ride & Guide models & this Omni model is the most structured & cushioned one of the bunch. The color is more orange red or neon coral than red or pink (as it looks in the pictures). The laces are kind of short, when using the extra ankle eyelet. At first the sneakers seemed small & even tight, (I wear 7 1/2 in almost all brands), but after a couple of runs & workouts, the toe box seemed to stretch out & they fit ok now. They are a little heavy for treadmill running, but great for outdoor runs. If you want a solid, structured sneaker with a lot of stability & support, than the Omni's are the best of the Sauconys. I would then say the Guide model would be the next less stability control model & finally the Ride model for the lightest & moderate support.

I love these shoes! I had a pair of Omni 15s and wore them out, so I got the Omni 16s. I had major surgery on my right foot a year ago and my orthopedist recommended the Omni 15. I wear a Spenco orthopedic insert in my shoes, also prescribed by my doctor. When I don't wear my Omnis my foot hurts to the point of not being able to stand on it for very long. These shoes are sturdy, well made and fit like a glove. I love the colors and the style! I highly recommend the Saucony Omni 16 to anyone who has a problem with arch support or just wahts a classy looking running shoe! I will keep buying this brand and style for as long as I can get them.

Love how Saucony shoes fit my feet- another great pair of shoes

I love these shoes. I have purchased two pairs and will order another after these wear out. I run about 12-16 miles a week on the road and these last me about 5-6 months. I have a bunion on my right foot. I need a wider toe box and support to keep me from pronating while I run. These are perfect for my feet. I will add that I ran a Spartan Sprint in my previous pair and they were covered in sand and mud. After hosing them off outside I threw them in the washing machine with some beach towels and then air-dried them. They looked brand new and still feel great.

These shoes are very comfortable. I work 12 hours shifts standing the entire time. After a few hours my feet would hurt so bad...burning and just plan painful. I wear an 8, purchased an 81/2 but it fit like and 8. Not alot of room. Toe box is not very big, a little on the narrow side.

I was hesitant and skeptical when I opened the box. Coral color actually bright, almost fluorescent but offset well by the darker raspberry laces and trim. Not as substantial feeling as previous omnis but maybe that's on purpose with new Everun soles. Spacious toe box. My feet (plantar fasciitis) feel well planted and support at all the right places, although the shoe feels so much lighter than my old Omni.
2 weeks later, tried my usual superfeet and did not feel right in the knee, so I will wear them with Saucony insoles. This leads me to think the structure is odd, so I'm down grading to 3 stars. Never had trouble with Superfeet in other Sauconys.

Not as aesthetic as the prior models, but much better balanced. I've owned omni 13-16. The 16 runs a half size too small compared to prior versions. I read other reviews to this effect and was skeptical but bought both a 10 and 10.5. Sure enough, I needed a half size larger than I had in all the others. These are fantastic shoes for my needs. Remember though, shoes are just like wine: what works for you is the best.

I have run in Saucony Omni shoes for as long as I can remember. I typically go through at least 2 pairs per year. I have always been able to take them out of the box, lace them up and go run comfortably. This pair is different. The upper is so thin and the Saucony logo on the outside (right side of the right shoe and left side of the left shoe) is so big and rigid I can feel it right through my socks. It literally rubs a blister in the side of my foot. I have never had this happen with any other Saucony shoe. I’m hoping they will become more comfortable with use but good running shoes shouldn’t have to be broken in.

As a fat guy with feet that tend to pronate a lot when I jog, the stability & support with giant heel this line of shoe has is fantastic.
I can't imagine running without them again.
