We patch into the house on a 40’ cord and can run the well pump, two fridges, a 6’ deep freeze, convection microwave, pellet stove, and several outlets for Keurig, internet modem and UPS unit, lights, and a skillet or hot plate. The microwave will cause it to audibly bog just slightly. It’s a beast. Six gallons non-ethanol gas with that load gets 8-10 hrs, typically 9.
For propane be sure to have a roll of propane thread tape on hand for the connection. And get a hose with a pressure gauge, you’ll need it to know specifics when/if the generator gives a code about low available pressure (especially in cold weather). Most importantly - save yourself a lot of hassle and always start it on gas, then toggle to propane if that’s what you want to use. Starting on propane is hit-or-miss on many dual fuel generators.
This isn’t a unit you’ll want to lift and travel with, at least not without a second, strong helper. Rolls from shop to home easy enough with the collapsible handles. It’s not quiet but when a disaster hits you won’t care. Especially if it’s providing heat and water, and saving your food! A simple plywood box dramatically reduced noise. I would not take this camping - look for a quiet inverter if that’s your goal.

12/16/2017 I just got a new one. I got it to work with propane and it is cool. BUT the electric start won’t work. The gasoline also works fine , just that I need to use the manual pull start which is a pain.
Called support and they think the solenoid which powers the electric starter is bust. The quality control on this product before it got shipped out is way below expectation for a product that cost me close to a thousand bucks.
1/10/2018 I am waiting for a few weeks now to get the replacement parts from the support folks. I had to call Pulsar again to remind them to send the parts which they forgot to send.
1/31/2018 They sent me a new starter kit, not just the solenoid. I had to spend a hour fixing the new solenoid. Even now the e-start wont work. Called Support, now they are going to send me a new battery.
2/25/2018 They sent me a new battery which turned out to be an incorrect model. But the one they sent does start the e-start feature. Now waiting for the correct model of the battery, three months after purchase.
All said, it powers up my home when it runs . But for all the initial troubles of getting the e-start to work, I plan to keep it.
3/9/2018 - The march Nor'easter caused outage for the past day and a half. The generator has been working great and powering our home for the past 36 hours and still running as the outage continues... A full tank of gas (6.6 G) gave 18 hours of run time (2 refrigerators, furnace, a few lamps and last but not the least, the internet and computers).
