In 1957, Herb Brochstein set out to offer drummers a more durable, consistent drumstick, leading him to found ProMark. He put ProMark on the map by becoming the first American manufacturer to successfully sell a Japanese Oak drumstick. Shira Kashi Oak sticks have been a part of our lineup since.
