📖 This book is ridiculously good. I was so invested in the MC's from the beginning and the story of Selene & Vivienne left me wanting. More. In a good way of course.
I would like to see a part two to this book about these characters simply because it was so amazing.
Things that are important to me when reading a book are, well developed characters, well written descriptions of situations/scenes, and overall must have good grammar.
This book has all that and more. You get a true sense of the characters, their feelings, what's happening around them and you're totally immersed in the story because of how well written and thought out the entire book is. It has amazing spice level 🌶 🌶 🌶 and the D/s relationship between the characters i beleive to be a realistic representstion of this type of dynamic. Thank you, Thea Belmont for writing this book.

while one extreme was beneficial, there were times they needed to embrace the opposite in order to achieve wholeness. What I like about this book is that while it started out as semi-light BDSM scene play, it grew into love and so much more. I only turned my nose up at the scenes that had these 40+ year old women making out in the back seats of cars. Overall, it was a captivating read, so with that said family, Happy Reading

The story allows both main characters to develop into flushed out, living and complex beings. The chemistry between Vivianne and Selene was rather good. However, Vivianne's relationship with her sister and Claudia wasn't fleshed out at all, and there was barely any development between these characters, which was quite disappointing.
In addition, the drama near the end was too rushed and kind of unrealistic, in my opinion.

I enjoyed this book, it was a nice story but I just couldn’t get on with Vivienne as one of the main characters. I’m not sure what it was about her, something just felt off. Probably just me as it seems others didn’t seem to have an issue.

So. Here I am again reviewing a book that takes me out of my comfort zone as I try to expand my reading experience. (It takes me back to my days as a librarian when an elderly woman slammed a returned book on the desk and told me the book was disgusting and just full of sex. She then proceeded to borrow another book by the same author. Food for thought, hmm?)
Although the subject matter is not ‘me’, again I’m not going to subtract a star because of my own preferences. Kink is just not my think. (Sorry. Couldn’t help myself.)
The book is well-written and the characters well-drawn. I did have a small problem with some of the motivation but another reader might not. It’s graphic in parts, the basic plot is good, and I did care about the characters. Overall, a good read, but know what you’ll be reading.
