XMAX Pres in an Ultra-portable USB-C Interface

Loaded with two sweet-sounding XMAX-L preamps, the PreSonus Studio 24c is tailor-made for solo vocalists/rappers, mobile musicians, guitarists, podcasters, and live streaming. Beyond that, two rear-panel line outputs make connecting a set of studio monitors easy. You also get MIDI I/O for your keyboard controller, so working with virtual instruments is a breeze. Experience low-latency monitoring thanks to the Studio 24c’s mixer knob. And you can start recording right away with the included Studio One Artist software and Studio Magic plug-in suite.

If you’re just getting started with recording, the PreSonus Studio 24c will give you everything you need to hit the ground running — just add music! Take it from Sweetwater: No matter what kind of recording you do, the PreSonus Studio 24c USB-C audio interface will exceed your expectations.

Award-winning XMAX preamps onboard

Ever since PreSonus’s first-generation XMAX preamps hit the market, Sweetwater engineers have been huge fans of their naturally warm and vibrant sound. The Studio 24c showcases the new solid-state XMAX-L preamp generation. These pres still offer the signature sound. At the same time, they can be impressively clear. Just pull back the gain a little, and you’ll still have loads of volume with plenty of headroom to spare.

Professional-level digital resolution available

Speaking of headroom, thanks to the Studio 24c’s high-quality digital converters, you get an impressive 115dB of dynamic range that allows you to capture every nuance and sonic detail of your source. What’s more, these converters are capable of operating at up to 192kHz resolution, allowing you to go well past the 96kHz of professional studio work and future-proof your recordings for the high-quality standards yet to come. In other words, whether you need ultra-high-resolution audio for sound-design work or simply want to capture your recordings in the greatest possible sonic detail, your Studio 24c is ready for the job.

MIDI I/O offers extended hardware control

Need to hook up MIDI gear? Your Studio 24c has that covered too. It lets you connect everything from old-school controller keyboards to modern digitally controlled guitar amps, all via a set of traditional 5-pin MIDI ports. Simple, foolproof, and easy to use, you’ll be amazed at how often these connections prove to be useful.

Superb software package included

Your purchase includes Studio One Artist and everything you need to start recording via your computer. Plus, to take your recordings to the next level, you get the Studio Magic plug-in suite. This extensive collection of popular plug-ins includes emulations of classic studio gear from legendary manufacturers, adding hundreds of dollars in extra value. Punch up your mix bus with the Brainworx bx_opto compressor, add ambient reverb with Lexicon MPX-i Reverb, fire up transients with SPL's Attacker Plus, and much more. And since these plug-ins are available in AAX, VST, and AU formats, they're compatible with any DAW.

Not bad at all

Considering this interface comes with free Studio One6 software it's a no brainer… well worth it!

PreSonus Studio 24c interface almost installs itself!

I always avoid new hardware and software items for my home DAW, because I always seem to encounter so many problems and issues during installation. So I was delighted when the replacement PreSonus Interface process was uncomplicated, straightforward, and worked the very first time. -It seemed to like the Steinberg Elements 12 software, so we are off and running and enjoying clear, crackle-free sound from my desktop studio computer. YES! I have installed many DAW programs and related hardware over the years, but this is by far the easiest installation yet.
Music background: Performing musician and home recording rookie.

Simple install, Studio One and customer service

First off customer service went above the call of duty and called me, the rep was nice, even looked up one of my music projects. The interface plugged in and once I got the drivers installed it just worked. Studio One is an easy sell for home recording needs. I'm sunning NI Guitar rig with it and it sounds amazing.

A very old analog guy

I wanted to get an interface to my new computer. Texted Josh at Sweetwater, and he recommended the Presonus and Studio One. I am still learning, but am astounded at how well the interface works and the things I can do with the software. Already, I have a decent blues tune in with bari sax and trumpet accents. Not bad for an old analog, washed up bass player.
Music background: Minimal. Just an old washed up bass player.

Perfect for capturing inspiration when away from the main studio

Got this to use for when the creative Spirit hit when up at the lake cottage. Needed something small but with good sound for tracking. Combined with the PreSonus Eris E3.5 monitors, which sound amazing, it's everything I need to capture every inspiration in Studio One Artist, or even Ableton Live Lite, and bring the stems back to the main studio. Couldn't be happier with the performance.
Music background: singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, recording engineer, producer

Sweetwater and PreSonus go way back, and that makes a lot of sense. Like Sweetwater, PreSonus is largely staffed by active musicians, songwriters, live sound techs, and engineers, and like Sweetwater, their culture shows up in everything they do. Early on, PreSonus broke ground by offering super-affordable audio interfaces that brought quality recording to home studio engineers everywhere. In the following years, we've been with them as they introduced a powerful, artist-friendly DAW, groundbreaking digital mixers, and more - all products we at Sweetwater use ourselves. One thing that's never changed, even as PreSonus has branched out into new territory, is that they've always done everything possible to provide you with the best value, and we're proud to stand by their products.
