I needed a non-toxic, not too sticky yoga mat. All the non-toxic mats I looked at locally were too sticky AND also carried a very high sticker price!  Was I amazed when I found this mat online.  I'm pleased to say that not only does it work perfectly for me, I also get many compliments on its appearance.

After teaching yoga classes 5x/week for the last 5 years, I've come to know Gaiam mats as the ones that are the longest lasting and most durable. I've purchased other brands in the past, and they wear out very quickly and don't last like the Gaiam ones do. As a matter of fact, I taught on one Gaiam mat for 2 years and was ready for a new one - only because I was ready for a new color. So, I "retired" that mat as one my students could use when they forgot their mat, and it's still holding up beautifully 3 years later. I recommend Gaiam mats to my students all the time and will never by another brand for myself. I love my latest mat - purple with the Chakra symbols. Makes me happy every time I roll it out!

Perfect for a yoga instructor

Don't have a clue why you named this tie dye. It should be named  clouds and the pattern resembles a  bunch of cirrus clouds in a blue sky.  We have all seen Tie Dye shirts and this isn't that.  Regardless I like the mat. it is nice and goes well with my mat towel for Hot yoga.  I have not used it without a towel so I do not know how it would work with galllons of sweat.

This mat is perfect if you don't have joint problems since it's a little thin (to be expected of 3mm mats), it has a beautiful print and it didn't smell bad after airing it out for 10 minutes. The price is also great for what you're getting out of this. Would definitely reccommend this if you want a good mat on a budget
