Anyway, back to the review and not my life story... These are pretty cool devices. They charge quickly and are easy to use. If you don't program them, just use markers and draw lines. The robots follow them easily.
Wish list for the robots:
-Be nice if they could play sound effects.
-Sensors so they don't fall of a desk or run into a wall
-Some type of interaction between the robots.
-Would be cool to license decorations for the robots - Minions anyone?
I know my wish list would raise the cost. However, I see my kids getting bored of these soon. There really isn't much point to having them follow lines you draw. The programming aspect is cool, but I don't see this holding long term interest.
I salute the company - any product that interests kids in STEM is a win. These aren't too expensive, just not sure about the long term value.
