I have read and enjoyed this story. It was exciting and romantic. I was captivated and emotionally involved with the characters. Jude and April had been friends through her brother August. But something happened eight years ago that kept them apart. Jude went on to become a Navy Seal. People told him he was a nobody and needed to make something of himself. Coming back to his hometown after 8 years, Jude was excited to see April but there was the issue of her rejection letter she wrote him. He was determined to find out if she still cared for him. His promise was to come back for her. He didn't realize she had a secret. This is a great romance story added to the Heart of Hope series! This was a frustrating story to read because the lead female, April, was being controlled by her brother, August. It was shocking when all that he had done was revealed. August took control over April and her trust fund. Poor Jude, the lead male, was in love with April. Jude wanted and had planned the forever with April, but August would not allow it. He made mistakes! It’s a good but frustrating story. Read On!

This was an absolute pleasure to read. I throughly enjoyed this book. I loved Jude and April together. They had wonderful chemistry. This book was filled with everything you expect from romance novel. I started off hating August (April's brother). He was evil. The things he did was hateful and irreparable. But during this journey there ended up finally- healing. This is what made this so spectacular. The healing that came was wonderful and needed. Though I don't think Jude and August made up completely but there was definitely something headed in the right direction. Not that I couldn't wait to April and Jude to finally end up married- this book was made from the relationship that April got back with her brother.

I'll admit I teared up when April chose Jude's side. It was such a grand gesture.

I literally couldn't wait to wake up this morning and finish this book. I was so into it. I didn't want it to stop. I loved this book. It WAS FANTASTIC!!!!!

This is the first book of Amje Williams that I have read, not for a lack of will but of time.

Honestly I have to say that I loved the story line, as I know first hand that true love is not always easy to find and many times that love can be lost due to life happening. The catch is that you catch it when it comes back to you. That you put everything in to make sure that it would always be.

I think it was a superb read and that you shall not feel short changed.

All we can ever do is love the ones we have to the best of our ability, it's too Precious when it's gone.
