So now I have the best of both worlds, meaning I can use my Zeiss ZE lenses on both my Canon camera as well as my Sony A7. Perfect. I have also tried using my Canon EF 24-70 f/4 L IS lens on my Sony A7 using this adapter. Like many others, I found the auto focus did not work well at all. However, the IS function does work so the only limitation I've found so far is I have to focus manually. The A7 seems to love the Canon lens, providing accurate exposures and producing really sharp images.
I have tested this adapter with the Tokina 16-28, Tamron 24-70 VC, Tamron 70-200, and Canon 50/1.8. I have used all of the above with an NEX-6 and an FS700. I haven't had any problems with either camera locking up.
There is a small amount of play on the camera side of the adapter that isn't present on the metabones, but it's not significant enough to interfere with shooting, and honestly I expected this much. I would take a half star off for this if I could, but for the price I'm quite happy with the product. If I were planning on using this on my camera day in and day out, I might consider springing for the real thing (metabones) as it may be more reliable in the long run and fit the camera more precisely; but for a b-camera or occasional use this is perfect.
Both Autofocus and live aperture (seeing the aperture change BEFORE taking a shot) DO NOT WORK FOR THESE LENSES:

But first of all " ENABLE " the " RELEASE W/O LENS " feature in camera settings
● And now abouts its working..
1. On Canon 50mm
- it works fluently , autofocus works well , capture good quality images.
2. On Canon 18-55mm
- It works well but using this lens on Manual focus is preferable , as autofocus ON will make this work like you are using your cam on AF-C focus mode.
Thank you.
I have used the adapter with the following lenses:
Canon 50mm f1.8
Sigma 150-600 (225-900mm full frame equivalent) (it's like a lens cap on the back of it), it auto focuses ok at 150 but it's manual focus at 600 which is not a problem with Sony's great focus peaking. I have Focus magnification set up but I notice it doesn't work with the adapter attached.
Tokina AT-X PRO 11-16mm F2.8 DX Lens (equal to 16.5-24mm full frame) so nice and wide
It will also take my Canon kit lens and 50-250mm lens also in fact it will take all my Canon lenses
For the money I highly recommend it
