    Huge fan of these sequential discovery puzzles by @idventure_games_and_puzzles Just finished up the collection with this one.Just need to get the sherlocks homes Camera. Highly recommended if anybody is into escape room in a box type puzzle games. Very good quality, finished in 93mins, great for kids 14+ ✌🏻

    My first puzzle box. What a great idea. I love the genre. There are mysterious symbols and secret codes that seem like they must mean something but it takes a while of exploring the box before their meaning slowly emerges. Each puzzle was completely unique and when you finally solve each one it's so satisfying. It's hard enough that it takes some serious mental effort but not so hard as to be frustrating. I worked on it in spells over a few days before I got the whole thing solved. I used it to hide birthday money in the central capsule. Only fits 2 or three American bills, so you have to get large enough denominations. Online instructions for reassembling it were good. Two puzzles require that you apply more force than you think you should so it's a delicate operation to know whats enough force without breaking it. Some of the negative reviews were invalid. One person said one of the three number dials was broken, but that cut out is how it's supposed to be. One person said there were no instructions, but the insert says where to get online for hints. One person said they solved it in 5 minutes. A person would have to have a crazy amount of experience with these exact types of puzzles to be able to do it that fast. Most reviewers, myself included, took hours. I'm so glad I discovered the puzzle boxes are a thing.

    They do provide the easy way to open this box to add gifts with a step by step instruction…. But it requires pretty much taking all of the pieces out and “solving it” with the provided answers. I get why that’s great so it doesn’t accidentally POP open and the game is over unintentionally… but I was so nervous trying to reassemble it that I wouldn’t put it back to what it needed to be (which I didn’t and a piece slid out that was supposed to without a previous step being done) but the material was durable and it was a great gift for my hubby for Christmas.

    What an amazing puzzle box. Whoever designed it is a genius. Some of the pieces could be a bit more sturdy, but other than that, this is one of the best puzzle boxes I’ve ever done. You don’t need to force anything to solve each part, so you know if you are applying quite a bit of pressure to a piece, then that’s not the right way to do it.
    It took me a few hours, and unlike other puzzles, I wasn’t frustrated when I got stuck. Just put it down, leave it for a few hours or a day and then come back to it.

    Now that is solved it, I have to figure out how to put it back to how it was, so I can have my wife see if she can solve it. I hope I’m able to put it all back together. Lol.

    An amazing thing to have, or to gift anyone who loves puzzles. I highly recommend it. I’ll have to see what other ones they have on offer.
