    It's perfect for my gaming/working needs.
    I use it for gaming and also work with 3D model design in CATIA, as well as light video and photo editing.
    The screen is astonishingly nice, the quality is great, everything is sturdy and looks professional.

    I upgraded it to a 1TB 970EVO, the only problem I had is that when I cloned and installed the other SSD, the computer would keep booting from the SSD it came with even after many tried to change it in the BIOS. I gave up and will have to format the other SSD in a 3rd party computer to have 1.5TB in total.

    Perfect mix of performance and cost in a small package. Runs everything at max graphics with smooth play. I had heard some complaints about high heat, but haven’t seen any problems. I got a cooling pad just in case and haven’t needed it once. Running high end graphics does suck up battery life, but until battery design improves this appears unavoidable- just plug it in!

    works well with streaming/gaming such as Fortnite, call of duty warzone, etc. only thing I don't like is that the laptop gets hot around 90 degrees when gaming but after 2 YEAR USE I JUST RECENTLY change cooling thermal compound paste just to see if that was the problem. which it turns out to be the problem for me. but overall the laop is awesome I love it. keyboard feels perfect when gaming and typing. its also great got editing videos and photo on photoshop

    So we got this laptop for my daughter for her birthday, and the laptop seemed to be doing just fine for a couple months. A notification popped up saying that the battery needed recalibration. Then after this recalibration was done she noticed that after the it had finished, the laptop wasn't charging. Even after replacing the charger, and even getting a stock charger it still wouldn't work. We tried sending it in for repairs didn't work, and after all most four months of running around in circles we gave up and replaced the entire laptop completely with one from a different brand.

    Tldr; expensive laptop seem to fail really fast with little to no way of fixing them without either spending more on the laptop than its original cost or out right replacing it entirely.

    I have had this laptop for about 2 years now. After the first year nearly to date the GPU fan abruptly began to make a loud grinding noise and stopped spinning. The warranty covered a repair which took about a week. Another year later the same thing is happening to my CPU fan without any warranty to cover it. The noise is unbearable and vibrates the laptop. Without the fan to cool properly heat levels get out of hand so gaming is out of the question but I am able to use chrome with minor rumbles from the fan. This is not an isolated issue you can search up GS65 stealth fan issues and find plenty of posts. I would not recommend this laptop unless it is known the fan issue is fixed from the manufacturer.

    Additionally for anyone wanting to add more storage you will need to flip the motherboard to do so. Only the battery is accessible without flipping it.

    On paper, the GS65 stealth looks great. It’s quick and has lots of features. I bought it fairly soon after release and was very happy for the first 6 month but issues quickly began manifesting themselves. The charging port quickly became loose and the soldered connections failed leaving me with a $2000 paperweight. I had this fixed at a shop which actually broke more things than fixed it. They discover that the battery was already toasted and their fix lasted less than 3 weeks. After getting it repaired at a competent shop it has been working okay. That’s a total of $400 worth of repairs already, 20% of the original price. I have also experienced multiple cases of keyboard failure stemming from the horrible design of the ribbon busses inside the laptop. I have opened the laptop more than 10 times to fix this. Anyone with less experience working on computers would be out hundreds more to pay shops to fix this. The frame of the laptop itself is flimsy. The sides bent within the first few months. The left screen bracket began cracking within the first 6 months and is now completely broken. I don’t believe my Ethernet port has ever work.

    This thing is seriously the worst laptop I’ve ever owned by miles. Who cares if it’s fast if MSI cannot design a product that will function as intended for more than 6 months?

    It does the job, but not well. I only bought it because the Covid restrictions made it impossible to buy something better and I'm going to regret that for years.
    The customer service devision is manned by infuriating robots who are probably in India.
    Ugh.
    I am not a fan. I'd return it and get something better if I could.
