Strong spring, poor jaw

Strong spring, poor jaw
The points were different widths and the pliers did not close flush. The handle was comfortable but small. It has a good spring. Overall they are sturdy. So I’m guessing this one missed quality control. I tried to zoom in on the pictures where you can see a red pen through the closed jaws and the variance of jaw size. If that part had been better fabricated I think they would have worked well.I will say they would probably be uncomfortable for larger hands however. Mine are small and do ok, but I definitely noticed the difference between my 5in long bent nose pliers and this one at 4.5in long. The size if the jaw tips was also a little larger than I wanted. In the picture (beadsmith pliers on the right) you can see the comparison to the pliers I already own with a more fine noseIf I had to keep these, they would do their job for wire bending and wrapping or with jump rings given that the very tip is flush and the spring is strong. But with the entire jaw not being flush I don’t think holding something and pulling with force would work wellSo they get 3 stars for good enough quality for jobs that wouldn’t require a lot of jaw tension. The other reason why this review gets 3 Stars instead of 2 is because of amazing customer service. I bought them with same day shipping and free returns. But the following day, less than 24hrs later, when I had a chance to try them out, the itemwas no longer even listed as a primeItem and was now ineligible for return. I wasReady to give a one star review for thatAlone! The pliers themselves were ok but I was now mad I might be stuck with something that wasn’t of better quality. I contacted customer service and they gave me a full refund without requiring me to send the pliers back! So kudos to customer service.(If you’ve made it through this entire lengthy review, congrats! You’ve just won the free pliers I won’t use!)
