I recently got a blue Samung Galaxy S20+ and while it looks great, it is very slippery and I wouldn't think about using it without a case. I wanted to show off the blue color on the back and originally got a Spigen Neo Hybrid Crystal case which worked fine but I didn't like the way it felt because it seemed to get oily from regular use and I found myself washing it every couple of days. I decided to get another case one that emphasized function over form, and in that respect the Spigen Neo Hybrid fits the bill. It feels really great and really improves the grip over using a naked phone. I only wish Spigen made this case in more colors like they did in the past for other phones (Galaxy S8 & S9).

Overall, I'm very satisfied with this case. The fit is perfect and works fine with wireless charging.

This phone case is definitely for the minimalist. It is true as advertised, slim, form fitting and durable. I have already dropped it on a semi-hard surface and there was no damage. The herringbone pattern on the back offers some resistance from dropping the phone. You can easily access the charging port and plug in the earbuds that come with the phone. The on/off button and volume button work perfectly with the case on, and the camera is very well protected. I didn't need to take the case off to charge my phone on a wireless charging pad either. The traditional, smooth, sleek design lends itself to casual, business and formal. I give it a 5, easily.

I have had this type of Spigen case on all of the last three phones I've had. The S6, the S9+, and now the S20+. Each for the two year leases. Best case I've ever had or tried. Its grippy on the sides, doesn't slide on a smooth surface but isn't tacky so it sticks in the pocket. Doesn't attract lint. Its very sleek but protective too.

I've had many drops and never had an issue until I dropped my S9+ flat on the driveway. I had just paid it off so now I have the S20+ upgrade! First thing I did was order this case. Both came the same day!

All previous drops were side or corner drops, which the case did its job. I remember buying another Spigen for my last phone because it was just beat up looking, but the phone was perfectly preserved. So that tells me it does its job. But not many cases out there will protect against a frontal assault unless you want a 2 inch thick Otter Box. I've tried other Spigen cases and all were just as good, but I'm drawn to the "Neo Hybrid" the most.

Neo Hybrid > Rugged Armor

If you're between this and the Spigen Rugged Armor, BUY THE NEO HYBRID.

Pros:
Fits perfectly.
Raised edges adequately protect the phone on it's face or back.
Best protection of the curved edge screen without being obtrusive and still being 100% usable that I've seen.
Hard plastic at the edges and corners for extra protection with excellent TPU covering underneath.
Very slim and does not add any significant weight or size.
No sharp TPU molding edges unlike other models. This case is strictly superior to the Spigen Rugged Armor. I bought the Rugged Armor first by mistake and had it on my phone for 20 minutes before ordering this case. I used the Rugged Armor for two days until this arrived. On the Rugged Armor, the edges at the ports and along the side are very slightly sharp; however, those edges are exactly where your fingers rest making the Rugged Armor case *very* uncomfortable to hold for more than few seconds. The Neo Hybrid is perfectly smooth and a dream to hold.
This TPU also is nicely matte to the touch. Much better feel than the Rugged Armor which is slick and almost "powdery" feeling-- very difficult to describe but not pleasant either way.

Cons:
The sides of the case do flex if you push *directly* on them. This is much less than on the Rugged Armor which will do it with almost no pressure. Unless you increase the bulk of the case significantly there's likely no way to avoid this considering you need access to the edge of the display, requiring that portion to be thinner. This does not seem to impact the protection and it doesn't cause the case to unseat.

Overall: 10/10. I've bought this model case previously for my Pixel 3 and loved it-- that model survived many dozens of high impact falls. This appears to be of similar or better quality. Would and will buy this model of case for every phone I purchase.

I have been a Spigen case guy since they came out years and years ago. You can never go wrong with their hybrid cases. They are sleek, but still have a grip on them. I always feel that my phone is safe, and never have had a problem with them. The best part about them is they are tempered glass screen protector friendly. I actually have one of the loca screen protectors on my phone right now, and the screen protector fit perfectly on the Spigen case. The cutouts are perfect, and I never have problem plugging anything in. The only thing you need to decide is if you need a very rugged case or just a little rugged case. In my opinion, this is middle of the road, but give plenty of protection, even in my line of work.

The case is sturdy and looks great. it has a raised lip all around the front that protects the screen when the phone is dropped or placed face down on a table. The case is great in protecting the protruding camera of the S20+ and completely hides the bump making the back of the phone a flat surface that won't be rocking when placed on a table. The case and the texture of the back gives extra grip which makes it hard to slide out of your hands. The side buttons respond well when being pressed and to top it all you don't need to remove the case to charge the phone wirelessly. Overall this case does everything you'd want from a case for the S20+ and it does it with style!
