About this ebook

NoahÕs been in love with his childhood best friend for as long as he can remember. Katie and him were inseparable and although they told each other everything, he kept that one secret to himself. It was easier to hide his feelings than to risk their friendship.

Before he can confess, his cousin moves to town and sweeps Katie off her feet. It doesnÕt take long before theyÕre married and expecting their first child. Losing her is his biggest regret, but heÕll continue supporting her the best he can.Ê

KatieÕs life looks perfect from the outsideÑmarried to her high school sweetheart with a baby boy on the way. But in reality, sheÕs tired of his affairs and partying. When one night changes everything, she not only loses her husband, but her best friend too.

Ten years later, KatieÕs a single mom whoÕs determined to fix up her new house while juggling anything that comes her way. NoahÕs return is inevitable and she doesnÕt want to deal with him pushing his way back into her life, but she might not have a choice. He makes it clear heÕs here to stay and is dead set on proving heÕs always been the one for her.

4.5 Stars Pushing You Away: I've been waiting for this duet! This is the first book in Katie and Noah's duet. This is a great friends to lovers story. Noah is entering his life after prison and coming home is not going to be easy. It's going to be tough for Katie being around Noah, but they have an undeniable chemistry that won't be ignored. I loved watching those two reconnect. It made my heart happy. I loved the relationship/friendship Noah is creating with Katie's son Owen. It's not all sunshine and roses because someone won't let Noah's past stay in the past. The cliffhanger that we are left with has me asking so many questions, but also has my sleuth hat working. Holding You Close: This is the second book in the duet and the conclusion to Katie & Noah's story. This is such a good book and it picks up right where we left off. It took me on a roller coaster ride of emotion. All the questions we had are answered. Katie's world is going to get rocked a little more and she shows how strong she is. This book also left me with my heart full to bursting with happiness. Owen really captured my heart. That boy is just so awesome. Also Noah's grand gesture totally needed tissues for that. My romantic heart was happy sighing. There are a few twists and turns that I didn't see coming and I wasn't ready for. I can't wait for the next duet in the series. I have feeling it's going to be quite the ride. This is a must read, but make sure you read the duet in order!

Noah has got to have the most tender heart....EVER!!! Noah is my second favorite Kennedy Fox Hero.....HANDS DOWN!!!!! Take a trip down memory lane with Noah and Katie as he is released from prison 10 years after being sentenced for the death of Katie's husband. He refused to see her while he was behind bars but is determined to explain to her once he is able to get her to talk to him. Soon they are reminiscing their teenage years and admitting what their feelings were for each other back then and still are to this day. They soon find out there are some people extremely determined to keep them apart. This duet had so many moments that gave me panic attacks....that is how good the storyline is. Of course as is with all Kennedy Fox books the duet ends with an HEA!
