Rowenta irons are the worst brand of iron I have ever owned. This iron is no different. Our family has had this iron for about a year and about six months in, it just stopped working. Would turn on, but not heat up. Today, one year mark and no heat at all. I've had $10 and $20 irons that have worked for years and did a better job than this iron has ever done. Second, the water from reservoir leaks out of the iron at the handle. Leaks onto your hands and onto your clothes. We had to put a piece of sponge in the top where the water goes to stop the water from leaking. This happens no matter how much water is in the reservoir. I've never filled it to the top and yet the water still leaks. In addition to that, the iron uses up way too much water. I will fill the reservoir and the next day, I have to fill it again. Only two people out of a household of four use this iron, so it's not like its getting heavy use! Finally, I have had more clothes ruined by this iron than I care to count. Burns, stains from the steam, etc. This was not purchased on Amazon, but rather Target; however, I felt compelled to warn as many customers as possible to just pass over Rowenta irons and this iron particularly.
