Needing you Close is the EPIC conclusion to Gemma and Tyler's story. After that cliffhanger in Keeping You Away I couldn't wait to dive in for more Gemma and Tyler. I didn't want their story to end. I just loved these two so much. Tyler completely owned my heart back in Maddie & Liam's duet and I couldn't wait to get to know more of him. He is a gorgeous, he is fiercely protective of those he loves and he loves and adores Gemma with all his heart. Gemma is loyal, she is a fighter and although she got herself mixed up in some crazy drama she has always loved Tyler and never let him go from her heart even after years apart. I loved the level of suspense and angst in this one. I was throughly invested from start to finish and there are a few twists and turns I could have never saw coming. Gemma and Tyler overcome a lot. This was not an easy journey for them. Both had some huge obstacles to over come to be together and wow did they ever and they are 100% stronger because of all they've been through. Kennedy Fox was written an incredible start to the Ex-Con Series and I NEED Everleigh and Archer's story and Kate & Noah's books ASAP.

Talk about a slow burner!!!!! This is the conclusion to Tyler and Gemma's story and it did not disappoint. The events that took place at the end of Keeping You Away had me questioning so many things mainly how was the triangle of Tyler/Gemma/Robert going to end. I got my answers and then some!!! Tyler is adjusting to being back in the real world after spending five years in prison for a crime he was framed for. He went back home to Lawton Ridge and got a job at the local mechanic shop that is coincidentally owned by Gemma's father. Her engagement to Robert remains an obstacle for them both. Tyler knows what he wants and that is Gemma but at the same time he has respect for her and what she wants (or thinks she wants). Gemma is still planning on marrying Robert even though she is in love with Tyler. Robert's true colors are coming through more and more and Gemma is finally waking up to realize what kind of man he truly is and calls off the wedding but he just doesn't take the news too well and therefore sets off a series of events that I just did not see coming. Tyler is such a fierce protector when it comes to Gemma and yet the touching moments between the two of them are the absolute sweetest. I believe she is the only person that could bring him to his knees. Gemma's protectiveness is not to be glossed over because even though she is a protector in a different way she proves that she will do anything for those that she loves no matter the sacrifice. I completely devoured this book in one day.....there was no putting it down. The side story that we knew was coming from the end of Keeping You Away turned out to be even more than I suspected it would. Liam, Maddie and Eric round out this story quite nicely to give Tyler and Gemma their HEA even though they had to go through so much to get there (it was 12 years in the making). Kennedy Fox never seems to fail when it comes to weaving a story. They always deliver absolute greatness including the epilogue that will lead into the next book. Bravo ladies...you nailed it again!

I can’t begin to tell you how much I loved this duet. Tyler was great his love for Gemma was beautiful and they were destined to be together. The journey they went through to be together was rough and rugged. They have such a deep undying love for each other and it was just a great ending to their story. This second audio version was just as good as the first book and Tor Thom and Lia Langola once again did an excellent job! These authors knocked Tyler and Gemma’s story out of the park and I can’t wait to read Katie and Noah’s story.
