Evan Bishop is your typical hotshot doctor.
Hardass, brooding, and all business.

Instead of working on the family ranch, Evan broke the mold and became an ER doctor.
He’s good with his hands—in more ways than one—smart as a whip and is the definition of God’s gift to women. Being a gentleman is in his Southern roots, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t flawed. Exclusive dating has never been a top priority and his tragic past makes him stay at arm’s length. Deciding to let loose for a wild night, he takes a page from the Bishop brother’s relationship book and hooks up with a mysterious girl he’ll never have to see again, which is perfect for this self-proclaimed bachelor.

Emily Bell is a city girl through and through but is determined to get away from her family and past. All she wants is a fresh start and to make a name for herself in the medical field. No random hookups and no dating coworkers—that’s her new motto after being burned time and again. When she agrees to attend a wedding as a plus-one, she’s soon ditched and left to drink solo—but not for long. Mr. Suit is the ultimate temptation with his Southern charm, messy blond hair, and irresistible sex appeal. Everything about him screams bad news, but he makes her reconsider her rules just for one night.

After all, some rules are made to be broken.

They want the same thing—one night of passion then they’ll go their separate ways. No cuddling afterward. No next day phone calls. No awkward goodbyes. Too bad the universe has other plans—one that’ll be obvious when they report to work on Monday morning.

This is book 2 in the Bishop Brothers series. Each book features a different brother and can be read as a complete standalone. HEA guaranteed!

The Kennedy Fox duo continues their Bishop Brothers series with the story of the brooding older brother Evan and the big city girl who came to work in the same hospital as him.

Evan isn’t just an attractive southern gentleman he’s a kick@$$ doctor who’s is married to his job, and it’s the only relationship he’s interested in. Except for his family he keeps everyone at bay, but when he sees a beautiful mysterious woman at his brother’s wedding he decides to throw caution to the wind. After that night he’ll never see her again, right?

When Dr. Emily Bell arrived in town all she wanted was a clean slate and prove herself. To that end she resolved to concentrate on work and not date coworkers to avoid getting used and hurt, but the weekend before she starts her new job she gives into temptation for one night with a gorgeous southerner she meets at a wedding. How much harm can one night cause when she didn’t give him her real name and she can’t even remember his? They’ll find out when the go to work!

Evan and Emily are as stubborn as they are smart and antagonize each other relentlessly stoking the spark and passion growing between them until it combusts. The novel not only sizzles with the romance between this two but also flares with the tension surrounding Emily’s past that’s come to plague her.
Despite his initial douche canoe attitude, Evan slowly shows his soft underbelly, demonstrating he doesn’t just care about his patients and loves his family, but is also a closet romantic making him a wonderfully swoony book boyfriend. And speaking of family, all the Bishops are back in their caring, meddling and hilarious ways.
The narrative describing not only the small town charm but also the action drama and action packed hospital scenes leap keenly off the page, so much so that you can almost smell the sanitizer and feel the healthcare providers’ adrenaline when a patient rolls in practically ripped right out of Grey’s Anatomy or ER episode.

Needing Him is full of hooking elements. Wit, strong protagonists and secondary characters, steamy love scenes, lovely family values with a dash of drama and suspense. A definite must read page turner. It is book #2 of the Bishop Brothers series under the Kennedy Fox penname. It is standalone southern contemporary romance told by both points of view with a happy ending and a prelude into the next book.

“I want more than one night with you, Emily. For the first time in a long time I want…more.”

NEEDING HIM by Kennedy Fox is one of my favorite enemies-to-lovers romances that I’ve read this year AND it’s now my favorite of the series, maybe even my favorite Kennedy Fox book ever! This has got to be my all time favorite trope and the ladies of Kennedy Fox absolutely NAILED IT! Two doctors go head to head in the ER as well as the bedroom, and it is SCORCHING HOT! The banter alone makes me want to read it all over again. Evan Bishop frustrated the hell out of me. Emily Bell charmed me to pieces. Together, these two were a FORCE, full of animosity, lust, and passion. I couldn’t wait to turn the next page to find out what sexy shenanigans these two were up to. I even have a huge smile on my face thinking of their story while writing this review. I was giddy, emotional, and happy the entire way through. And even though it was real easy wanting to punch Evan’s lights out at the beginning, it was just as easy to fall hard for the man he became when he finally got his Emily. I LOVED IT! You will LOVE IT! Everyone will LOVE THIS BOOK!

“You’re going to be the end of my resolve.”

Where do I even begin with this book? It’s no surprise Kennedy Fox writes a book so intriguing as much as it is inticing, it wasn’t meant to be read other than cover to cover. Needing Him went BEYOND all my expectations. You always go into a KF Book thinking you’ll know exactly what you’re getting and then it ends up being something beyond your wildest imagination!

This book legit had EVERYTHING! From the perfect head butting comradeship mixed with an undeniable attraction between two doctors, to unyielding love and compassion between two people destined to be together no matter the odds. There were so many elements that made Evan and Emily’s story what it was. It’s the little things that matter most in this book. With all of this and a little suspense thrown in and it’s KF’s best book to date!

It doesn’t matter the type of romance you’re used to. Needing Him is a book every avid reader and lover of romance can devour and worship. Not to mention, KF always can throw in a good epilogue that just leaves you begging for more on said couple as much as the following book!

Definitely an easy fav of 2018 and my fav book to date my none other than my fav unicorns!

I feel like every book in this series is gonna be better than the previous one.

I FLOVED EVAN! Oh my goodness, this man!! While Alex had been a good surprise, a player revealed such a sweet boy, Evan was an even bigger and better surprise. His past and his profession made him a very closed off guy so getting to see him unveil himself little by little was epic. He turned out to be such an epic guy. A closet romantic and just overall amazing.

Emily decided to move cities when she found her boyfriend cheating on her, she hadn't been happy at that hospital and that was the last straw. She just moved from Houston to a small town where her college best friend, Kiera, lives. Kiera convinces Emily to be her date to Alex and River's wedding and when Kiera bails on her, Emily is kept entertained all night long by one of the groom's men but having drunk a lot and being introduced to so many people in one night, she has no idea who she hooked up with. When she wakes up the day after the rendezvous and thinks that she just had a one night stand with a married man, she leaves and takes the guy's tux in hopes that he'll get caught. But as it turns out, he wasn't a married man after all, he was actually one of her new co-workers. The moment they both find that out is hilarious.

Evan at first gave off this asshole vibe, specially because he was pissed about how his encounter with the mystery girl had ended. So when he found out that the woman had not only lied about her name but was his new co-worker he was even more pissed about the whole situation. But OMG YOU GUYS, it was so hot reading about him acting like an asshole towards Emily. Like, hot damn, even when he was being an ass, you could feel the sexual tension and when that tension exploded... Hot Damn! I loved the fire between them. It was fun to read, super entertaining and laugh out loud funny at times. Oh and Evan will definitely get your panties wet. Lord, the sex scenes between these two were everything. *fans self*

I loved how he was so protective of her even when he wanted to hate her, he might have been her enemy at her work but anywhere else he either wanted to jump her or hold her close so nothing would happen to his mystery girl. I loved the conflict part of the plot, it had a little suspense which I'm loving so much lately and that just made the book even better for me.

And of course, I lived for the banter between brothers. I loved watching how close they all were and getting to experience their dynamic, learning who's closer to who and just watching all their shenanigans.
We got bits and pieces of each brother. KF gave us a little more about their story and gave headway for the next two books and oh my goodness... I'm honestly dying already for both of them. The end to this book has me so anxious for John's book, it's insane. And that blurb, oh hell, I already know it's gonna be perfect. And then there's Jackson, I've said this before but I'll say it again. He will be my favorite, I'm almost sure of it. They're definitely saving the best for last. I feel like the angst will be insane and I'm seriously so curious about how they will end up together because after the events in this book, I seriously don't know.

I swear to god all the Bishop Brothers are gonna ruin me one book at a time.

I really loved Needing Him but I was expecting nothing else. These two were perfect for each other even when they acted like enemies (enemies who wanted to kiss the hell out of each other every time they fought). I couldn't possibly have enjoyed this book more. It wasn't just Evan and Emily that made it so special, it was getting to know every Bishop better and even getting to see our Checkmate babies again. Thank you Brooke&Lyra for warming my heart with so much love again. I love your characters so damn much and I cannot wait for what you have in store for the twins.

So apparently I'm a pro at reading books within a series out of order. And I seriously love a good enemies to lovers story and this one definitely tops my list as one of my favorites! Believe it or not, this was my first read from the lovely duo, Kennedy Fox, and I've become quite the fan, so I'll be working my way through this series from the beginning.

My goodness, this is like a level 10 on the steam factor especially when Evan Bishop has a bit of that alpha streak in him. He's demanding and knows exactly what he wants. After an amazing and memorable night in bed with the beautiful woman he met at his brother's wedding, waking up to his clothes gone wasn't on his agenda and to be frank, it leaves him kind of pissed. With a demanding job, he was in for a treat when the new ER doctor happens to be his one-night stand from the wedding. And you'd never seen a man so hostile after he was left the way he was that night.

5 STARS!

Needing Him is book 2 in the Bishop Brothers series and thus far my favorite!

#Swoon and then cue in the epic enemies-to-lovers feels! The sexual tension is strong with this one people!! It was captivitating from the very first page. The perfect mix of sweet moments to suspense!

Dr. Evan Bishop was a broody and stubborn man with sweet tendencies. He's the perfect Southern gentleman and the ideal contender to be the father of my children. He meets his match with Emily whose equally sassy, stubborn, and keeps him on his toes.

There wasn't a moment that these two didn't set the book on fire! I have a feeling this may be everyone's fave in the series (for now) cus let me tell ya, each Bishop gets better. Trust me! These brothers... man. Just when I think Evan was bae, John comes out of left field and just shocks me! Kennedy Fox has blown this one out of the water!!

The Kennedy Fox duo have done it again with the next book in their Bishop Brothers series. Needing Him is the story of the brooding older brother Evan and the new girl in town Emily Bell.

Evan isn’t your typical southern gentleman, yes his family own a huge working ranch. They are well known within the community but ranching life wasn't all Evan wanted. As much as he loves his family and any spare time is spent pitching in at the ranch. His calling was in a completely different field!!

He became a successful doctor who’s is married to his job, and it’s the only relationship he’s interested in. Except for his family he keeps everyone at bay, but when he sees a beautiful mysterious woman at his brother’s wedding he decides to throw caution to the wind. With a one night stand! after that night he’ll never see her again what harm could it do, right?

Dr Emily Bell moved for a fresh start, leaving a douchebag of an ex. Also wanting to get out of the shadow of being the daughter of a sought after world renowned fertility doctor. Proving that she got where she is with her hard work and not on the coat tails of her father.

With a fresh start she decides to concentrate on work and not date coworkers to avoid getting used and hurt. But before she start's her new job she decides to have a blow out. Having been dragging by her best friend to a wedding she knows one at. She lets loose with a gorgeous man she meets there, temptation never looked so good.

How much harm can one night cause when she didn’t give him her real name and in the morning she can’t even remember his? only that he was part of the grooms party!!

Well they’ll find out when they go to work after the weekend! Both are left shocked, embarrassed and a little angry when they come face to face. Evan and Emily are as stubborn as each other!! They maybe good at their jobs but neither are willing to back down. Giving us a great read with these two rubbing each other up the wrong way. In turn giving us smoking hot chemistry and a palpable relationship!

I adore the family aspect of this series, all the Bishops are back in their caring, meddling and hilarious ways. And the lead into the next book was WOW!!!!!

Dr. Evan Bishop … I COULD NOT get enough!
The incredible writing duo that is Kennedy Fox stole my heart with the second installment in the Bishop Brothers Series.

“You’re going to be the end of my resolve.” … “And to think it all started with a dare.”

So, I’d like to start by saying that I’ve been dying to get my hands on Evan’s story since the Bishop Brothers were first introduced in the Checkmate Duet Series. (Which is also amazing & a must read!) You know when you’ve hyped up a book so much for yourself that you’re afraid it won’t live up to the expectation? It did. Needing Him gave me everything, and then some. It was perfection!!

“They say only fools rush in, and if that's the case I'll be the first to admit it-I'm a fool."

Evan Bishop & Emily Bell have to be one of my favourite enemies-to-lovers stories. From the moment they met, buttons were pushed, dares were challenged, and the competition began. Their chemistry was steamy, playful, witty, and so much fun to follow!! Meeting under false pretenses? There’s bound to be drama, and lots of it. That being said, I don’t think anyone is safe from the irresistible Bishop charm!

“Never been surer of anything in my life as long as it’s with you.”

Evan & Emily gave me ALL the feels. I think I may have over-highlighted the book with favourite quotes and moments. (Is that a thing?) Expect the unexpected in this one. I read Needing Him straight through, in one sitting, because I refused put it down. Spending the day with Evan Bishop? I have absolutely no regrets!

We got Alex in Taming Him, and now Evan in Needing Him. John is NEXT in Chasing Him & Jackson will be our conclusion in Keeping Him. I HIGHLY recommend getting to know these Texas gentlemen!!

4.5 “I’ve Got You” Stars!!!

First and foremost, Dr. Evan Bishop can get it. I was so excited for his book like you have no idea. At the end of Taming Him we got a small glimpse into what we could expect from him and his leading lady. And I needed to know more and couldn't wait to see what was to come.

Needing Him was a delicious enemies-to-lovers read. It has a sexy as sin bossy mouthed Doctor. And a fiery sassy heroine. It brought the most tantalizing sexual tension. And it also brought the laughs. Definitely my favorite book in this series so far.

Emily and Evan were a perfect match. Their banter made their relationship more fiery. They complimented each other so well. I couldn't get enough of these two. More, more, more, I just wanted more of them.

I was happy to get back to the Bishop world. Getting to learn how Alex and River were doing. And learning that Jackson is still up to his old ways. And John, well he's still the quiet mysterious one. And that tidbit at the end of the book is just making me neeeeeeeed John's book right now! I can't wait to read all about him and FINALLY learn all his secrets. I'm also excited for Jackson's book. Come on, who isn't? Ok, so time? Hurry the heck up.

Y'all, I was so excited for Evan's story and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. The ladies of Kennedy Fox managed to make it a smutty slow burn romance, with Emily and Evan recognizing the lust and chemistry between them, but only agreeing to one night of passion. Each has walls built up high around them and follows a strict set of rules, both too aware of the damage ones heart goes through when in love. Of course, a one night stand story with no further interaction would be boring and this story is anything, but boring. They become co-workers and enemies with attraction still sizzling between them. We’re treated to Evan and all his Alpha glory, with sassy Emily giving it right back to him.

"She's at work, outside of work, and in my fantasies- the woman is dangerous."

I really liked both Evan and Emily, they’re so smart and have interesting back stories. Their joining together is hilarious and sexy, though there is a secondary storyline filled with suspense. I was intrigued by Evan’s closed off nature, so different from his brothers, and Emily, well we know right away why she has rules in place. What starts as a one night affair turns into workplace banter and heated escapes. I loved the enemies-to-lovers plot, especially with how much growth each character goes through. Needing Him is such an accurate title, though I think ultimately they both discovered a need for each other as they realized letting another into your life isn’t as bad as you think. The two had to weigh the risk versus the reward, treating readers to a push-and-pull story filled with smut.

"'I think you like it when I defy you,' she taunts ..."

While Needing Him is a Bishops Brother series novel and we do get to visit the ranch, the majority of the novel takes place in the hospital. It becomes a secondary character almost, with drama and action-packed scenes that reveal who Evan and Emily really are when they aren’t shacking up. The world building in this series is incredible and I love the small town atmosphere and how easy it is to picture. Of course, we get to visit the other brothers too and the stage is certainly set for the next novel in the series. Evan is probably my favorite, I love that he’s a bossy doctor, but I’m very excited for more John and Jackson.

“Never been surer of anything in my life as long as it’s with you.”

Oh Dr. Evan Bishop, if Jackson wasn't my favorite Bishop you would definitely take the cake.
So swoon worthy and broody, how could I not love him!
You Bishop Brothers are ruining me!

This is an enemies-to-lovers romance and oh boy did it not disappoint.
Emily & Evan's story was perfection!
I loved watching how they pushed each other buttons when deep down they couldn't resist the pull between them.
If you loved Alex Bishop, or the Checkmate Series by KF, of course you'll LOVE Book 2 in the Bishop Brothers series.

5 Stars! Amazing work ladies! I am so excited for John and Jackson's story!

3. 5 Stars

I'm sad to report that I didn't LOVE this book. It's a shock, even too me. I've been a fan of Kennedy Fox from the very beginning, but this book, like the one before it, missed the mark. This book felt repetitive, predictable, and long-winded. The story was completed about 65% through but kept going. The character of Evan I fell in love with in book 1, but he changed so much that he no longer resembled his previous character. This book also built up the other Bishop brother Jackson and his future story, that I later learned we won't get till book 4. I felt like great detail was given to build up the two remain books, but it ultimately took away from Evan and Emily's story. While it is very well edited with minimal errors, the fact that the story reached a climax and a conclusion before building up to another climax was distracting to me.
I'm afraid I might be falling out of love with Kennedy Fox :(

This has been my favorite Kennedy Fox book yet! The intensity of the characters was very well written and portrayed. We could feel the *hate* they had for each other at first but the sexual tension between them overpowered everything. The suspense involving Emily made the connection between her and Evan ever stronger. This was one of the best enemies to lovers I’ve read in a long time! While I know a lot of people were ready for Evan, I am SO ready for the twins books. The fact that John comes next, and with the ending we have I know I’ll love those even more!
Kennedy Fox delivered another amazing book and I know they can only get better from here!

I just read my FAVE Kennedy Fox book so far!!!!
I legitimately LOVED everything about this story. It has super hot, intense chemistry. EPIC enemies to lovers, angsty feels and super sweet & swoony butterfly inducing moments!

Evan & Emily are INCREDIBLE. Seriously people the TENSION between these two is OFF THE CHAIN. The whole enemies to lovers vibe in Needing Him is one of the best I've read! Honestly Evan is an arse. But I LOVED HIM! He has that alpha dominance to him too that will make you sizzle inside. The connection with Emily is instant, but I'm not talking instalove, I mean just an intense connection that shoots from the pages and takes control of everything inside you. I can't stop thinking about them and loving them and just wanting more!

These Bishop Brothers are TO DIE FOR. I love reading books within a series that layers everything together. Kennedy Fox are building a world here that I just LOVE to be in. The side characters and additional cast really add definition to this book and ultimately UP the story by 100%. All of it works insanely well. Each book is a standalone but for the full reading experience read in order. I promise, you won't regret it!!!

“Needing Him’ is such an amazing story! Kennedy Fox’s writing continues to get better and better. They have written a truly wonderful love story. I know I say that couples are perfect for each other a lot but Evan and Emily are Truly made for each other. They are the perfect paring. They challenge each other and protect each other. I love them so much!! They both don’t want anything serious but can’t deny the unbelievable sexual attraction and tension they have towards one another. Even when they can’t stand each other.

“Just the thought of her pisses me off and excites me at the same time.”

This is the sexiest Kennedy Fox book to date! Evan and Emily’s chemistry is off the charts! God they are so HOT!!!

“The magnetic pull is forcing us together, and the chemistry we have is electrifying and undeniable– it’s what drew us together in the first place.”

This took surprising turns that were so good!! I loved every exciting minute of it! Evan and Emily’s story was so much fun to read. I couldn’t put it down. I love this couple and this story so much! I can’t wait to re-read it! It was so sexy and Evan and Emily are so wonderful. I Love this book so much!!! These Bishop boys and their true loves have my heart!! Kennedy Fox always knows how to write a fun, adorable romance. While I enjoyed the first book of the series, I was excited to read Evan's story and watch the cowboy turned doctor fall in love.

Evan Bishop has worked hard to be where he is an an ER doctor. Every moment has been spent being the best doctor and helping out on his family's ranch. So when he acts out of character and spends an amazing night with a mysterious girl at his brother's wedding, Evan can't believe how much they click. But when he wakes up the next morning with no clothes and no sight of the girl he spent the night with, he's angry. When he walks into work and finds out that Dr. Emily Bell is the new ER doctor on his floor and he will be training her, he's shocked to see the girl he spent that amazing night with. While the two instantly butt heads, it's impossible to deny the chemistry they discovered that wedding night that they promised would never happen again.

While this book started out entertaining enough, the more I got into it, the more I thought this book was trying to be too much. So many cliched tropes were thrown in left and right that I felt like way too much was trying to happen. That meant that not enough of the storyline was fleshed out because the characters would have different aspects of their pasts thrown out that were rushed and not really explained that well. I never felt deeply connected with them because they seemed very superficial and like characters, not actual people.

Also, the relationship between Evan and Emily was so up and down. I think the authors wanted to do that on purpose, but it made Emily's character hard to understand because one moment she'd be holding her own and the next she'd be like, "I don't know how I could ever end up with a guy as amazing and good looking as him." Some moment just didn't match up to me. It was just hard for me to enjoy this and get through it.

While this wasn't a bad book, I felt like too many things were thrown out for the plot's sake that it was hard to see this as a realistic book. I've experienced this with these authors' books in the past, but not to this extent. While this book sounded promising, it took me forever to read and I couldn't really connect with the characters and what they went through.

Once again I am in love with a Kennedy Fox book. This was Evan and Emily’s story, and it was absolutely adorable. I loved Emily’s character, she was feisty, strong and just overall a great character. (Even if she does like gross candy lol) Evan, another Bishop was of course sexy, he was a doctor and a little possessive(which is always kind of nice) I think Emily and Evan were so great together, probably one of my favorite couples out of all the couples in the Kennedy Fox book. I really enjoyed the fact that we got to see all the couples from the checkmate series and the beginning of this series in this book. It’s always nice to see them in the future and see what is going on with the characters even if they are only in it for a couple of pages. I also can say I am SUPER excited for Jackson’s story, even if it comes out after John’s(still excited for John’s as well)😁

Kennedy Fox has done it again!! I think every book in this series is going to have my loving the next brother more than the last. LOL And I love that they are so different with their personalities and quirks.

Evan didn't follow in the same footsteps as his brothers and stay to work at the ranch. He felt his calling in another way - becoming a doctor. On his rare days off, he does go to the ranch and help out, but he's dedicate to his job and loves what he does.

Emily Bell has grown up always knowing she wanted to be a doctor, but didn't exactly want to follow in her father ways and become a fertility doctor or even work in that environment. She wanted to be in the ER where her day was always a surprise. Living in her father's shadow was never easy and she worked damn hard to prove to everyone that she got where she was due to her work ethic and not because of who her father is.

When circumstances have Emily moving out of her hometown to start anew, she's determined to focus on her career and prove once again, this is what she was born for. However, her best friend still wants Emily to live a little and invites her to a wedding as her plus one. But when her best friend Keira ends up bailing on her at the wedding, Emily finds herself having a hard time saying no to one gentleman in a tuxedo.

It's only one night. Emily does even give him her name. She doesn't know anyone here and she won't even see him ever again. Right??

When Evan and Emily meet each other a second, sparks definitely fly, just not in ways that they did the first time. And that's where everything gets good!!

I love how the dup that is Kennedy Fox lets this one work its out. Evan has this chip on his shoulder and definitely lets Emily have it a few times. But Emily is in no way a pushover and doesn't let his barbarian attitude turn her away. She goes toe to toe with him and that just aggravates him even more.

I loved all the emotions and dialogue in this book. These may be hotheads, but they also are mature even to talk things and sometimes "work" things out of their systems. There is definitely no shortage of chemistry between them. And Kennedy Fox does a phenomenal job on this and delivers a great transition into the next book.

My Rating: 5 Stars

I did not think that I could like a Bishop brother more than I liked Alex, but it has happened folks. It has happened in a BIG WAY. I didn’t know that I needed a dirty talking, broody Doctor in my life until I read Needing Him. So thanks for that Kennedy Fox, I need to rethink all of my life choices now.

At the end of Taming Him, we found out that Evan had a one night stand with a woman who ended up being his co-worker. That little sneak peek at Needing Him had me dying to meet Evan and Emily and they did not disappoint. Their chemistry jumped off of the page immediately, sucking me in and making me want more of them.

I am such a sucker for hate to love romance, but only when its done right. There are honestly so many ways that the trope can go wrong: the characters can give in too soon, turning it into insta-love, or they can hate each other too much, making it less believable when the finally give in. Fortunately, Emily and Evan seemed to genuinely hate each other while simultaneously wanting to rip one another’s clothes off. Their relationship developed naturally and I really enjoyed watching it change.

The suspense Kennedy Fox added really kept me nervous throughout the book. I found myself constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop, and drop it did! The last 20% of the book was fast paced, and I don’t think I could’ve stopped reading for anything. In fact, I stayed up until 4am reading on a damn school night. Yes, I did skip class in the morning, and I completely blame it on Kennedy Fox and Evan.

The end of Needing Him gave us a preview of Chasing Him and I can honestly say that I’m dying to get my hands on the next book! Talk about a cliffhanger, folks. If you ladies need a beta reader, I AM SO ON BOARD.

My Takeaway: I NEED MORE EVAN! Emily and Evan’s story was fantastic. The two of them had off the charts chemistry that kept me coming back for more. I genuinely think I could read three more books about the two of them together. With each book in this series, I fall more in love with the Bishop family.

Welcome back to the land of the Bishop brothers! These characters, their families, and the friends that love them are quickly becoming one of my favorite series.

Emily is wanting a fresh start at a new hospital. Evan is called “undateable.” When one wild night ends in a misunderstanding, the adventure begins. Who knew they would have to see each other every day? Their dislike for each other continues to grow until the chemistry simmering between them cannot be contained.

Emily is a product of her past. She is out to prove herself to her family. She has committed her life to being a doctor and is very weary of people. She is always worried if they truly like her for her or for her family and their connections.

Evan is trying to prove himself to his family too! Being a doctor was not in their plans for him. He is closed off, moody, and focused on his job and working on his family’s ranch. He doesnt have time for anything else.

The twist in this book added just the right amount of suspense. I was reading as fast as I could to see what would happen next. And the surprise at the end about the ex-boyfriend had me losing it! I couldn’t stop laughing. I just wish Emily had been a part of that scene even though there was a reason she wasn’t there. I’m still laughing just thinking about it!

Let’s not forget about the other Bishop brothers. Their stories have progressed, and I loved how you get to know all of them a little bit better. My heart is breaking knowing the blurb for John’s book, but I think Jackson’s story is going to be my favorite!

Kennedy Fox nails it with Needing Him. It’s full of hot as fuck chemistry, throw in some suspense and I’m in book bliss.

Their initial meeting is full of hotness but it’s what happens after that had my insides giddy. You see I love a romance that has some lust hate in it and this one definitely had that.

Once these two cross paths after that “one night” the tension is palpable. But it’s mixed with passion and I could seriously feel that it was only a matter of time before these two combusted. And that they definitely did. In my head I’m thinking of one of my fav show Greys Anatomy and those moments in the on call room.

Evan Bishop oh I fell for this sexy doctor hard. He’s definitely a jerk at first. Pushing his weight around. But I’ll say the man literally had a way with words, commanding both in the ER and in the bed. It was seriously hot. 🔥 🔥 🔥

Of course Kennedy Fox does what they do best and that’s also give me a ton of WTF moments that have me freaking out. This storyline wouldn’t be complete without some villains and let me tell you I felt like I was having PTSD (Mia Style) for those that have read Checkmate you’ll know what I mean. But not everything is as it seems and of course my mind went into overdrive with possibility after possibility. What I also loved about this which is another reason I love KF books is that when the shit hits the fan it really hits the fan and this duo I swear they like to drop mini grenades all at once that will have you gasping.

I will also say that we get to see the entire Bishop family. There are some hilarious moments in this book as well that had me busting out with laughter. I’m definitely loving this family and their dynamics. With all that testosterone it hard for me to say that Evan is my fav because I know we will be getting more Bishop brothers and I absolutely can’t wait.

Absolutely loved this book. If you love a good romance with a bit of love/hate, steamy and I mean steamy moments and a bit of suspense then definitely read this one.

THIS BOOK, you guys! I love these Bishop Boys so hard!!!! I can’t get enough. When I found out Kennedy Fox was going to give these hot boys their own books, I was ecstatic! And I’m happy to say they’ve kept their end of the bargain. These guys are incredible!

Evan is a smoking hot doctor that hasn’t had the best of luck when it comes to romance. After having his heart broken, he’s decided to stick to focusing on his job alone, not letting his feelings come into play at all. At all. That is, until he runs into Emily and all bets are off.

The chemistry between these two is smoking hot!! I loved seeing their forbidden romance struggle so much. It’s almost impossible to deny their feelings for each other, even when they both know it’s their own option.

Trust me when I say you want to read this book!! And not just this book… these Bishop boys are incredible, and you won’t want to miss getting to know them. I highly recommend this series to any romance reader. Especially those that enjoy a little southern charm, drama, and smoking hot cowboys.

Needing Him is the second book in the Bishop Brothers series by Kennedy Fox. This enemies-to-lovers doctor romance has to be one of KF best books. I don’t think I have laughed so much in any of their books.

Emily Bell and Evan Bishop met at Alex and River’s wedding; Evan dared Emily to catch the River’s bouquet, the best way to start a drunken wedding one night stand. First funny part happened the morning after with clothes being taken and having to call for help. Two days later, Emily starts her new job and her one-night stand just happens to be her new co-worker. Will sexual chemistry find a way to bring Evan and Emily together? Of course, it’s going to fun watching them fight it…

The brother’s bantering with each other is the best; I think Jackson is my favorite with Evan a very close second. Favorite part of the book had to be the last trauma that came into the ER before the climax. I about fell out of my chair laughing so hard at what Evan had to do. I loved the little surprise of whom was at a birthday party.

Overall, this was a great book and that ending was the best. Can’t wait for John’s story and to see what is going to happen next with the Bishop Brothers!
