So, I bought an inexpensive iBuypower ‘gaming’ computer for $500-ish( It hink it was actually only $479 at the time) from Amazon and decided to upgrade it as funds allowed. I bought the iBuypower ‘Enthusiast’ which has since become unavailable. This pc came stock with an Asrock b450m/ibw motherboard, which for all intents and purposes, is an Asrock b450m/ac(the ibw does not show on the asrock website, only the ac does...but they look identical). So anyway, it came with a Ryzen 3 3200g, 8gb ram, stock cooler, a 450w psu and I think an nvidia gt710(?) graphics card. It now has a Ryzen 7 3700x with Noctua nh-u12a cooler, 750w seasonic platinum psu, 64gb ram and a Zotac Rtx 2070 super. Yeah, I’ve pretty much maxed out this motherboard's capabilities. The only way I can squeeze out any more is if I upgrade to an x570 motherboard, and I honestly have no need, as everything is running super smooth, and cool. I’ve xmp’d the ram to 3400 and I have the cpu overclocked to 4.4ghz at 1.325 volts....however, in the stock case, which only allowed for a single 120mm fan for intake and 1 for exhaust, Ryzen Master had my her idling a little warmer than I like.
In comes the Corsair 275r Airflow. This case allowed me to put a pair of 140mm Kaze Flex fans on intake and then use a pair of Noctua a12x25 120mm fans as rear and top exhaust. Also, since the psu cage allows you to mount up or down, I did as such, so I technically have 3 exhaust fans, although the psu fan is not really pulling the same as my 2 Noctuas are at those rear and top exhaust position. Now my computer is idling between 33-37c which is cooler than before when I only had 2 fans in the whole system. I had never done a case transfer before and I was nervous about the front panel headers, or if I would fry something, but I watched some youtube videos, and, well...it all worked out! Couldn’t be more happy with the final result!!
Thank you, Corsair, for making such an awesome, well thought out, relatively budget friendly case!! I’m extremely happy with the final outcome!!
If you've never built a computer before, I highly recommend this case. With plenty of room on the inside, you shouldn't have to try and look up part compatibility with it; as I said before, my d15 fits with room to spare. Cable management was also a breeze, and the psu/hdd shroud looks super sleek.
Even aesthetically the case looks great; however, it comes with fans that don't feel like high quality, and there are no lights inside the case, so I had to buy a pack of 3 RGB fans. Not a huge complaint, but it's something to be mindful of.
Overall review: Great for new builders, great for seasoned ones, and it is worth it to sacrifice aesthetics at first if you're in a budget and can't add fans to this case. I would build in it and get the fans later; keeping your parts cool is the most important part!
Edit:
I ended up needing to switch out my ram (LPX was not compatible with my motherboard) and the 140mm did NOT clear with the new set of gskill ram. I had to switch it out for a 120mm. Keep that in mind if you plan on using a chonky cooler like this one. Also, I was able to fit 3x120mm fans in the top, even though theres only support for 2x120mm. Tight fit, I don't think a radiator would fit on top.

Pros :
+ Dust filter
+ Looks good
+ Easier to build in that AntEsport cases
+ Easy to fix Sata SSDs
+ Rubber Gromets
+ no eye strain since no RGB
Cons:
- Fan is noisy when connected to motherboard directly (Use a fan controller)
- Highly overpriced at 5.8k for black case (cost only 4k actually for white case)
