The top surface is a lycra type material over a dense but soft foam core with a non-slip foam bottom. The thickness is not too high either, I have no idea how this thing is so thin yet so heavy. $25 for a mouse pad in a world of $9 pads may seem steep but you get what you pay for.

I play with an extremely low mouse sense for FPS's (I use nearly the full mat to turn 360) and it's much too grippy for my liking. I'm not sure if I was supposed to get the "CONTROL" but it's hard to tell what they're going for since the product descriptions are so vague.

The massive green logo actually changes the feel of the mousepad - the parts that aren't dyed are actually smoother than the parts which are. Running my fingers up and down the mat is significantly more grippy than horizontally, like I can actually run across the grain of the fibers. I'm going to return it.

I absolutely LOVE this mouse pad. I play MMOs, FPS, and many other genres of games. I also am a graphic designer and I record music as a hobby. This mouse pad just makes me happy looking at it.

For people who say that a peripheral wont improve your game, this pad allowed me to lower my sens in CS:GO since I had so much more room to mouse around. I have my sens set up so one swipe across the pad is like a 180 turn. This has allowed my pinpoint aiming to become much more precise and i'm pulling off AWP flick shots i would almost never hit before. Staying on target is a lot easier now too.

Surface begins to degrade after minimal use

I would NOT recommend this mousepad.

The quality of the surface is fine, but only for the first few weeks to a couple months of use (as is the lifetime of most of Razer's products nowadays, sadly). Three weeks or so after this arrived, I started to notice that the quality of the surface on the mousepad was not as good as it was on day one. At the time, I assumed it was just dirty. After washing the mousepad according to Razer's specifications, the problem persisted. In fact, the quality of the surface may have even gotten worse! Even before washing the pad, I had noticed that the parts of the mousepad I used most frequently started to feel "fuzzy", as well as glided slower in these places than on the rest of the mousepad. This is a complete and utter turn-off for gamers that need to be precise with their motions, and in my case, it absolutely destroyed my muscle memory for games such as Osu! and CS:GO. At the time of writing this, nearly 3 months after owning it, the entire mousepad doesn't feel nearly as smooth as it did on the day that I got it, and the areas that get the most traffic continue to feel rougher than the rest of the pad. The Razer Goliathus Speed gets two stars from me, because at least it's a great deal bigger than my $5 non-gaming mousepad, but feels much the same.

PS: The mouse I was using at the time was the Deathadder Chroma, not modified in any way.

This is my second time buying this mouse pad. The 1st one is still fine but the suraface has become a bit rough because of 4 years of use and washing. The packaging by amazon was not perfect and the original box was a bit damaged. Unfortunately the product was out of stock so I didn't place a refund or replacement order. The mouse pad is excellent, with appropriate size for arm style aiming. Surface is super smooth and shiny. Even though some might argue that a laser sensor mouse requires an all black mouse pad but this isn't true, I use my g403 on this mouse pad and it works perfectly.
If you are thinking between medium and large size then I would surely recommend the large size as it is the perfect size for any kind of aiming style. Thanks for reading.

La taille laisse une grande marge de déplacement.
Le produit est de très bonne facture.
Les coutures semblent être résistantes au temps. Contrairement à mon ancien Roccat qui a fini en lambeaux. La souris glisse parfaitement dessus.
Le design est particulier cependant. Mais ça c'est une question de goût.

Il est utilisé avec une Razer DeathAdder 3.5G: très bonne synergie pour le moment.
Si votre souris est assez récente, l'outil Synapse de Razer vous permet de faire du calibrage automatique en fonction du tapis. C'est assez intéressant.
