There is extra room in the bag for a clock/timer and a notebook or other items. This was a well worthwhile purchase that I can see lasting quite some time if not forever. The board is very nice and easy to roll and unroll. It lays nice and flat and is heavy enough not to move around during play. This was a good investment.
